We know that, but does the CW?
Let's hope they reconsidered WS now.
I hope they do, as we don't need more rubbish and boring Julie Plec vampire shows. But they better hurry. Although they still have a whole year to do this. Just know Julie Plec is lurking behind a tree watching and will jump at the last minute with a new pitch to take the attention off an SPN spin-off so she can add more to her name.

Supernatural facts:
1. SPN is the last remaining show from the pre-CW era (it started on the WB).
2. SPN saw the end of one version of Charmed and the start of another.
3. SPN was only supposed to run five seasons, yet it will have run ten seasons longer.

Next month the show will be appearing at Comic-Con for the 15th and last time. I'm sure it will be huge. Might not be the last, they might be back for the 20th anniversary only five years away.
Crazy to think, the show will reach an anniversary so soon after the show ends, compared that to other past shows that have huge gaps from end to the anniversary. But of course, it has been on the air long enough to reach these big events while still being on air.
The 20th-anniversary will be big, but not have as much impact, since it wouldn't feel as long ago they even were still working on the show.

Yeah, it will only be five years between the end of the show and the 20th Anniversary.
People will be going: "What, already!?"

Yep, it won't have as much emotional impact than something that has been off the air for at least a decade or more, that coming together means something and you think about memories of the past, if it is just something recently ended, it's like "what already'. Will feel too much like just yesterday. With enough distance, it makes the anniversary feel worth it and more exciting seeing those we haven't heard from in ages.

Perhaps they'll wait till the 25th Anniversary. By then, ten years will have passed. More than enough time to miss it.

Video from Entertainment Tonight with Matt Cohen (Young John Winchester) interviewing Jensen and Jared on their views about Supernatural ending. www.youtube.com/watch?v=991NNINcQ6QLoved the video watching Matt interviewing J1 and J2. Very funny and sad at times which you see on both actors faces knowing what's coming then.

That's so sad but it has to happen one day. We can't watch them when they're grey and their kids take over then.

Well, it is good to go out when you're still hiding high with the fans and ratings. Fifteen years is quite a run to do that on.

Thanks for sharing. 15 years is like a miracle for television these days, especially the genre SPN is. But, good it is ending, and not going on forever. Funny, people are talking about the show being brought back like The X-Files in another decade when Jensen and Jared are in their 50s, and to be honest, I hope they don't. You got 15 freaking seasons, that's more than enough. I'd rather they do a spin-off instead.

Indeed, when this show ends, let it rest in peace. 15 seasons is more than enough.

There's rumors a Supernatural film might be made. One last adventure of the Winchesters showcasing what happens after the shows ended obviously whether that's the brothers already retired, in heaven or something else entirely.

A movie!?
Too soon to be talking about that. WAY too soon.

That's what I thought Tim.
Wait a few or some years whatever before doing that but not after the leads get too old to play the characters again.

Agreed, a movie is way so soon, yet some more info from behind the scenes would be cool.
