Of course, Jared is happy that his new Walker show will be made in his native Texas.
It sure does, it is why although I get Ruby's decision on leaving for not wanting to be in Vancover, I respect SPN' and Jared/Jensen for doing this for 15 years. Although, if this was 20 years ago, all these shows would be filmed in LA, but seems to be more cost saving to film in Vancover these days.
Jared will sure be happy, he get to be closer to home, and still work and do what he loves doing acting. I'm sure his family might even come to visit the sets and be in his trailer lots of times. I bet had this job not come up, he would have retired from acting for a few years.

I bet that is why he joined. Walker helps that the creator is also Texas like Jared, so expect them to do the Texas culture with justice and not cliche.

After 15 years, I'd feel cheated if they both died. I also am worried they'll kill off most of the supporting cast like Castiel, the Wayward Sisters, or the AU Bobby.
I wished shows would stop needing to kill characters to shock and add drama. You can just have your characters in life or death situations and that is enough. Also, when you kill someone off near the end of the series, the characters have no time to mourn, because of the end of series plots.

Well, so far, they only killed off Rowena However, things worked out well for her, she's running Hell now.

And I liked how they did it. They left Ruth's name off the guest list, so the surprise wouldn't be ruined.

I love when shows do that, it helps to keep it a surprise. Nothing worse when they put their name in, and we already know who will show up.  |

Ketch is the only other character killed also but I'd be more annoyed if the brothers, Cas, Wayward Sisters, or Bobby died of course.
