Now that makes a heck of a lot more sense.
I never liked the idea of Phoebe just being hired off the street at the Bay Mirror and becoming a Hollywood like celebrity. Advice columnists are a dime a dozen.

We just finished Size Matters. I liked it, but a few things annoyed me. Phoebe was okay, helps Leo wasn't present.
And most thought this was the first real sisterly ending with the second set.

Which got progressively less as the Kernus era went on.

This week Saturday and Sunday group rewatched 'Enter The Demon' after viewing 'Size Matters' before.
They graded the episode D or D- and a couple of them C then.
Most preferred the storyline featuring Ang Lin, Yen Lo, and the Zen Master and not Phoebe and Paige swapping bodies which would've suited Prue and Phoebe better had the first been alive still obviously.
The way Phoebe played Paige with a baby voice was more childish than adult actually. And watching in production order made no sense how both women were intelligent the week prior but not now of course.

This script was no doubt commissioned before Shannen was fired. You can just tell it was originally meant for Prue and Phoebe.
That whole body swapping thing should have been dropped after Shannen's firing. Paige was just too new for such a story.

I was always curious about whether they would have made Alyssa adopt that awful baby voice for imitating Prue as well

This episode should have been abandoned after Shannen got fired. Or they could have kept the Yen-Lo stuff, but dropped the body switching storyline. As I said, Paige was too new for this.
In fact, many S4 scripts seem liked they just crossed out "Prue" and penciled in "Paige". Wait until the Phoebe/Cole/Source storyline kicks off. As I have said before, this was supposed to happen at the start of the season, but was pushed back when they needed to bring Paige in. Paige''s sudden distrust of Cole, those lines were clearly meant for Prue.
You ain't fooling anyone here, Kernus!

I think it made sense for Paige to distrust Cole since she was coming in from the outside - I would have liked to see more of a build-up to it. But the way it was written was literally one episode she was fine, the next episode suddenly she didn't trust him seemingly out of nowhere!

And the reason for this sudden distrust was that she was given lines originally meant for Prue. If you listen to said lines, you can clearly hear Prue talking.

This weekend by the rewatch episode was 'A Knight To Remember' which introduced Paige's childhood friend Glenn.
Both groups didn't mind him but not the way the sisters treated Paige in terms of wanting her to move in quickly and why obviously after barging in on the two of them at the start without knocking beforehand.
Quite a few thought this was another attempt by Kernus to get fans to forget Prue and continue accepting Paige which they thought were better ways of doing then.
She either should've taken Glenn's offer of travelling and moved away from them or took Phoebe's bedroom perhaps when she and Cole moved out in 'Saving Private Leo'.
They liked Rose's performance as the Evil Enchantress and how she played her convincingly which I assume Rose had fun doing.
Darryl was also underused having not ben seen since Charmed Again Part 2.
It was nice seeing Piper in Prue's room and remembering her there which was most people's top moment from the episode.

It probably was. He wanted all memory of Prue gone as soon as possible.

Which was a disservice to fans especially when Prue was rarely ever mentioned after season 4 then. Heck, they didn't even showcase her one-year anniversary of death.
Even if Shannen's image couldn't be used visiting her plaque could've been shown or doing a candle blessing in memory like Prue, Piper, and Phoebe did for Jenna the witch who died in season 3.

Yeah, they could have. But...
Thanks, Kernus

Brain Drain this weekend, one I actually liked. Hope it stays that way after the re-watch.
