Classic Charmed might be better remembered had it been cancelled after Seasons One or Two. Like My So Called Life is.

Kind of fitting. Halloween does land on a Saturday this years, the night of the first rewatch.

I know that's the time quite a few fans class it as the last episode Phoebe's Phoebe before she starts turning into PhoeMe with her riding on the broomstick a favourite moment of theirs on the show.
I liked that bit then when she embraced the cliché.
Shame we never saw the sisters or Piper and Phoebe teach Paige any 16th century magic again afterwards which would've been nice seeing again.

Kernus was beginning to infect the show with his ideas by this point.

The Saturday group had their re-watch of 'Once Upon a Time', despite Cole, most enjoyed this episode much more than the past two episodes. They felt Alyssa and Shannen must have had a blast filming this one.
We even liked Piper, with her many speeches about willing to give up Leo, if it meant she could save more people like Kate, the innocent.

And some still think that they hated each other by now.

I feel bad that the stupid feud is always talked about even 20 years later, It's annoying when that's what most fans remember the most, the drama on the set, and It's sad I look online and so many barely remember the news about Kern coming out (in recent years), yet I still seem debates trashing Shannen for her being a diva, even now on other sites. (Not the Cafe, but other fan communities or social media).
I don't see the tension between Shannen and Alyssa that some fans see in S3, so far, they seem as great as always and always work well. You watch the Dailies, and I see them laughing between takes.
I guess, most of the Prue/Shannen haters, are the ones who keep bringing up the past tabloid crap with Shannen.

Seems Once Upon a Time was better received, I did like how magical creatures were done in this one, and it was a pretty scary episode with the trolls being invisible to them.

Because the magical creatures in this episode didn't look like rejects from The Mouse.

What I liked about this episode is that kids could only see fairies or if something like what happened to Prue and Phoebe did allowing them to also which made the creatures unique like with witches only seeing ghosts early on then season 5 changed that and I disliked anyone could see them from then on dissolving the air and mystery surrounding them.
No doubt something to do with Kernus or the different writers the show had then who either hadn't see this episode or not bothered to check backstory on them then.

Continuity was totally foreign concept to Kernus.

The red line then slowly vanishes over the next upcoming seasons. You'd have to shake your head sometimes. *sighs*

Last week's Sight Unseen wasn't as good as 'All Halliwell's Eve'. Most people didn't like Phoebe and Cole's scenes and the way she acted in that episode with some stating this was the start of PhoEme. Had Cole not been in season 3 Phoebe wouldn't have ignored Prue's concerns about the stalker maybe being demonic even though they turned out to be human then.
That bit was one thing members did enjoy showcasing other evils beside supernatural ones although they would've liked Abbey's obsession with Prue portrayed more prior to the episode whether that was her writing in the diary, stealing Prue's cosmetics or taking more pictures etc.
One other thing was the inconsistencies seen like with the front door not been locked which they done in season one, the AC being turned down when they never had air conditioning season 5 finale plus the fact you never saw any alarm system after Prue mentioned Leo installing one at the end of the episode which Classic Charmed Done Our Way will surely fix.
With this weekend's episode 'Primrose Empath' the best bit about that was Shannen's acting and how you felt Prue's pain feeling the world's emotions.
Leo and Piper and Phoebe and Cole's relationships weren't entirely liked. Some thought Leo should've been around Paige's age in general and not a person who died in 1942.
Another thing was Prue's sudden martial arts abilities although she'd done classes before that obviously and how that should've been exclusive to Phoebe her powers not being strong as Prue and Piper's then although Shannen wanted Prue to do that actually because it took away a bit of uniqueness from Phoebe which certain people mightn't have enjoyed.
