Unfortunately, we never know now. I remember to have also lost interest during the seasons but I returned with Chris. Can't even say at which point it happened but it did.  |

I really think if Charmed had no been a Spelling show, it would be better. Heck if it aired on CBS, it would last three seasons perhaps and end. Maybe like Ghost Whisperer, it might get a decent five-year run on a network like CBS. As crazy as it sounds, I might have been happier if it went to a bigger network, not produced by Spelling and under Kern and canceled after three or four seasons, and been a decently produced show. I wonder if Connie would have a better shot at getting her whole vision and story across not having her show on The WB and produced by Spelling and the show only lasted/ran three or four seasons tops. That would have been better than The WB meddling in the show. Even if it was a more short lived series. LOL I could even see it on FOX network too. With them promoting it as Shannen returns to FOX. Fox had Beverly Hills and Party of Five. I know Charmed was on the same night as Party of Five. I could see those two pairing together given the theme of siblings. CBS it might last 3-4 seasons, but on FOX maybe a few more. NBC or ABC I feel maybe 2-3. But I imagine if it was not being produced by Spelling, maybe Shannen wouldn't have clashed with Kernus and Spelling and stuck it out. But I feel it ends whenever Shannen and Holly together agree to end it. Alyssa might go along with them too. I always felt the first season felt less like a typical WB show. It was the later seasons that did. The first season didn't have the skimpy clothes, love triangles. It felt like a show that CBS would have. |

Or perhaps on the Sci-Fi Channel, which was still respectable back then.
Alas, we'll never know.
