I remember that one.
Mary was one the ghosts that Chuck freed from Hell when he threw his tantrum.

This podcast series is so good. So much insights. I highly recommend listening to Alona Tal's one on No Exit. I was speechless with what she revealed.

My takes on the podcast:
Jeffery revealed he was originally meant to have been on the show for a few years. They talked about him being offered a contract to be a regular for a year or two. But his other projects prevented that. He wishes he took it. He wondered how the show would've been had he signed that contract and been around for seasons 2 and 3 at least. Since there was so much story left to tell with John. Jeffery agreed to come back on to the podcast when they do the 300th sometime in the future.
Alona revealed that the direction they wanted to take Jo changed. Jo was possibly discussed at one stage of being revealed to be Sam and Dean's half-sister. But the Network wasn't too high on that idea. They also went back and forth on her being a love interest. They had chemistry. Plus the fan response to her was bad. Rob and Richard thought it was bad because Jo and the Roadhouse crew were great characters. Also the Roadhouse as a base was great. They also felt the fan hate was likely not against Alona or Jo but because the crazy female fans like to idolize Sam and Dean as being single.
Jo was meant to have a much bigger part. Rob and Richard agreed her teaming up with Sam and Dean were so great. It's a shame she wasn't made a regular. Alona is likely going to be brought back on the podcast and could be in S5 along with Samantha who plays Ellen.

All of this is exactly what SDOW has made possible with John, Jo and the Roadhouse crew. I'd like to think the actors would be happy with what we've all done giving them bigger parts.
