They were ready to tar and feather the guy.
Felicia Day should have done what Kim Rhodes did. Tell them that if they ever try to kill Charlie off, she'd walk.
I wish she did. Then they wouldn't have killed her. It seems the AU Charlie was a way for then to say sorry we killer her. When had she not died that could ever just been real Charlie. |

Charlie could have, and should have, been left in Oz with Dorothy (something I made happen in SDOW).
That would have been a better ending to her story. |

That would have been a better ending to her story. Agreed. No reason she needed to die. Much better ending. Then in the final season perhaps she could return leaving Oz for a little visit and catch us up on where she'd been. Much like you did in your episode, Tim. |

This is why we insisted on protecting the strong female characters in SDOW. We see them as actual characters, not cannon fodder.

And that if we do kill some, at least we give them much deserved screentime and a send-off. So we ain't just killing them for the heck of it. |
