***I wrote this shortly after I started my Rex and Hannah Chronicles in 2008***
As those of you who are familiar with my Charmed Fan Fictions may know, I took a lot of time to develop the characters of Rex Buckland and Hannah Webster. R&H were, of course, the two Warlocks who appeared early in Season One. In my Fan Fictions, I transformed R&H from power hungry Warlocks into a loving couple who became trusted allies with the Charmed Ones. I received a lot of comments from readers of my Fan Fictions, saying that they liked “my” Rex and Hannah better than the ones that appeared on the show! I considered that a great compliment and I was pleased that my work was so well received. That got me thinking about something. It seemed that, as far as the show was concerned, the characters of R&H had a lot of potential that was just never realized. However, I was able to see potential in these two characters right from the moment they were first introduced. There were many ideas that could have been used. A couple of examples are listed below: 1. We could have had a flashback story that revealed just how R&H become Warlocks in the first place. 2. R&H could have done some soul searching and realized that they really had no desire to harm the Charmed Ones. Then they could have gotten the nerve to stand up to the Source and assert their right to choose their own destiny. Sadly, neither of those scenarios happened. Instead, the writers just tossed these two great characters aside and forgot about them. When Charmed ended in 2006, after eight seasons on the air, it was without a return appearance of R&H. To this day, I feel that the show missed a great opportunity when it never brought R&H back. Of course, once R&H were no longer on Charmed, they fell into my capable hands. I decided to give R&H the chance to shine that the writers of Charmed never had the inclination to give them. My latest series of R&H Fan Fictions is called The Rex and Hannah Chronicles. This is the third incarnation of the R&H characters that I have created (my Original Charmed Stories and the Charmed Extended Universe being the previous two). As you can guess from the title, R&H are the STARS of these new stories. I hope to provide new and fascinating adventures for R&H (in fact I have already written several stories as of the writing of this article). I invite all my readers who have enjoyed my R&H stories in the past to come along. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed.

There is a certain poster at a certain board who has criticized me for "ruining" Rex and Hannah because I turned them good. So, a Charmed character can turn evil (hello Gideon), but they're not allowed to go the other way? Talk about a double standard here.
But, I digress...
So maybe I should consult the tons and tons of Fan Fictions that R&H appear in to get a feel of... Wait. What's that you, say? Oh yeah, there aren't any!
Seriously, I challenge anyone to go to the Charmed section of FF.net and find a story with Rex and Hannah in it. You're more likely to see the Loch Ness Monster.
You want a Next Generation/Power of fill-in-the-number-of-kids story, take your pick. However, if you're looking for Rex and Hannah, good luck to you (of course, there are my stories, you'll find them in the Cthulhu Mythos section).
Here is an interesting fact. R&H vanished out of the Charmed character list when I transferred my stories to the Cthulhu Mythos section, a couple of years ago.
Yeah, maybe what I've done with Rex and Hannah does not fit well with some people, that's fine. However, I like to think that I've kept these two characters alive in my stories. As I have said, I've managed to pick up fans who have never seen Charmed, one didn't even know of its existence. My Rex and Hannah were the ones they saw first.
So, through my stories, and my new Wiki, Rex and Hannah will continue to thrive.
PS: The only story I've seen with Rex and Hannah in it, and that I had no connection with, was An All Knighter. This was one of the stories in the excellent Destined series. Alas, due to the closing of the Destined project, it was never completed.

2018 will not only be the 20th Anniversary of Charmed, but also the 10th Anniversary of the Rex and Hannah Chronicles. Yep, I've been working on this project for a full decade now. Most Fan Fiction projects are lucky to last half that long. Mind you, for those of you who have followed my stories, I moved R&H away from Charmed, a few years ago, when I realized that I was aiming for the wrong audience. For two years, after I started up my FF.net account in 2012, my stories sat gathering dust in the Charmed section, and didn't get a single review. No doubt the reason was that I was writing about characters that most Charmed fans had no interest in reading about. They wanted the Halliwell sisters and their family. I can't fault those readers for that, however, I wish some of them had given the R&H Chronicles a chance. However, once I decided to move the R&H Chronicles towards the world of H.P. Lovecraft, that changed. In 2015, I moved my stories into the Cthulhu Mythos section of FF.net. I began to get reviews. I have one big fan, it seems, a person that goes by the name of "Lovecraftfan1991". Whenever I post a new story, this person comments on it. I have no idea who "Lovecraftfan1991" is (I'm assuming that the 1991 in their screen name is the year this person was born in), however, as long as this person keeps liking my stories, I don't care. And I have gotten a few other reviews there as well. And, of course, I have my fans here. One fan, Tess (aka Wakas) stands out because she enjoyed but had never heard of Charmed! I had to explain it all to her. That I can get fans of my stories, fans who have never seen the parent series, does say something. And I picked up some fans over at the Alexander Palace Time Machine board as well (I met Tess for the first time over there, we're both Romanov fans as well). So, here's to ten years with the Rex and Hannah Chronicles

Congratulations Tim, Ten years! What a massive milestone that is, I admire your dedication to these characters and your ambition to flesh them out and give them the history that Charmed never did, here's to many more R&H stories!

Thank you both.
Yeah, ten years is quite a long time to work on a Fan Fiction project. When I began the R&H Chronicles, back in 2008, I had no idea that I would still be working on them ten years on. Yet, that has happened, and I'm proud of my stories.

And Jana has her Charmed Sons series, although that is an AU series (what if Chris's story continued on past the end of Season Six). It's a pretty good series, IMO.
Truth be told, this is one of the reasons I'm glad that the new Charmed is a reboot, not a continuation. That way, the R&H Chronicles won't have to be consigned to an AU themselves. Whatever happens on the reboot will not creatively step on my toes.

Yeah, I know. Unfortunately, with my busy work and actual sickness, it's hard to go on writing and typing. I know I should but I also need to train my immune system. Sorry, went away from the topic.

I've wondered if the reboot will have their own "Rex and Hannah". Of course, if they do, the characters will no doubt be totally different.

I'm sure they will be so very different than Charmed's version. I don't think any of the villains will be like the Classic series of Charmed. I think most demons or warlocks will look and have a much different mythology.
But if we meet a pair of warlocks, I won't help think of Rex and Hannah.

Looks like the reboot is going to have their version of Rex after all.
However, no mention of a Hannah like character.

That's true, maybe their Hannah can be a Seer/Kira like character. Change it up a little.
Although, from what I see online, Hannah is really hated by some people. So many find her boring and a cliche written character for a woman.
I wonder how their Rex does. Seeing as they appear to have a Cole/Jeremy running around in S1 too. So perhaps no Hannah and their Rex and Cole work together.
A bit sad, why so many male demons and villains. Where are the female villains? LOL

I see you've been reading the posts of a certain person at the Charmed Cafe. Thankfully, this person does not speak for all of Charmed fandom, even though they might think otherwise.
This same person accused me of "ruining" Rex, because I dared give him a real personality.
