I was six years old when this comic first launched. Although my journey into the DC comics started in 1985, at aged five when my older cousin accidentally bought the same issue of Superman twice, so gave me a copy, and It started my collection. I did like this Crisis comic, but I didn't get hold it until the late 90s. That's so cool. So I take it, you were born in 1980. So you're nearly a decade older than me. That's so cool how you got your first comic. Yes, June 10.
It is, and I'll never forget it.

How cool.
What comics do you collect by any chance from DC? Superman and Batman?

Superman, Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl and Wonder Woman. I'd love to chat more, but I'm getting hungry, it's early here. I hope to come on later. Nice chatting with you. I look forward to interacting with other Glue to the Screen members, and if more like DC, I hope to bring more to the table on all things DC. Have a nice day.

Very nice collection you have. No worries. Yes, I'm sure they will, and many of us here do like DC, so you'll fit right at home here. You too.

Yes, I do. I'm hoping to work on my banner soon, and add different stuff to it.

I remember the Crisis when it first came out, 35 years ago. Still have all the issues.

They were so much fun. I haven't read mine in years.
The Death of Superman was a classic in the 90s and a huge DC event.

One the ironies of Crisis was that it killed off two characters that DC didn't want anymore, Kara Zor-El and Barry Allen.
Of course, at the time, neither were the leads in two hit shows.

Of course, at the time, neither were the leads in two hit shows. Isn't that true. Of course they adjusted to fit the CW-DC universe. I heard the Crisis event was done earlier than planned, due to Arrow ending, had Stephen Amell signed on for more Arrow, it never would have happened, as the original plan was for crisis to end with Barry dying, had they waited another few years. Which was teased and set up in the flash pilot has happennig in 2024.
I'm curious what they'll do next for the crossovers. I hear, it will be more self contained to separate crossovers between two shows, not all of them together next time.

I do remembers those rumours. Oh well, it happened now, and was exciting to see. They needed to have a big death, and they got it with Oliver. Had it not happened last year, they'd have to wait until Flash was ending to have it be Barry.

Yes, there will be more self-contained crossovers than one whole big thing with Supergirl and Black Lightning now on Earth-Prime then.
The first of those would've been Kara crossing over with Kate in Gotham around episode 18 of Batwoman which won't happen now yet because CW shows have been suspended.
