That was their final album, I believe.

Obviously, for years, their music couldn't be streamed or downloaded then until recently meaning the only way people could hear their songs before that was via tape of CD and the radio also.

Let it Be is actually very hard to find since as of right now only VHS and Laserdisc copies exist, it was never released to DVD. However, Peter Jackson is working on a remastered version which could be released later this year.

Not released to DVD? Guess legalities must be involved here.

The Beatles never liked the Let It Be film since it shows them before they broke up and they were fighting with each other, they were embarrassed and that's why it hasn't been released. I hope it does get rereleased, I've seen all their other films.

It's been nearly fifty years now, since the Beatles broke up. Add the fact that two of them are now dead.
I don't think all that matters anymore to Paul and Ringo. Let this thing get released.

I guess Paul and Ringo feel it's about time to release it, even if the band was at each other's throats at the time. If it's going to be released, I'm going to see it.

I know, I keep adding Beatles videos to my playlists and they keep getting deleted due to copyright issues. The copyright stuff is thorny because the copyrights are administered by Paul, Ringo, George's estate, Yoko Ono and Michael Jackson's estate since he bought the rights to the Beatles songs at an auction. That's why the videos keep getting yanked off of YouTube and why almost never hear Beatles songs in commercials or films, since so many people have to sign off on them.

They really need to sort this mess out.
George Harrison and Michael Jackson are dead, they don't need the money anymore.

Brian Epstein was their manager, he might as well have been from another planet. He was gay, rich and Jewish and his family was very wealthy, he was the black sheep since as the eldest son he was supposed to inherit the family money and business yet he became the Beatles manager and ended up richer than his parents. The Fifth Beatle is a terrific graphic novel about him and I recommend it if you’re interested in the Beatles and gay culture of the 60’s

And their album "Abbey Road" is on Number One again in the charts! Just greazt, 50 years after its release. Now that's a record.
