Exactly. Curious what they are going to do after S4, they might time jump and skip college?

It's possible, yes.

Very possible, since this spin-off is supposed to be set a few years from where Riverdale is now, I'm betting both shows will be lined up when Riverdale enters S5, we'll see.

Fear The Walking Dead was set a few years behind The Walking Dead. Until last season, when they time skipped Fear to match the original show.
I guess they could do the same here.

I thought a spin-off did something like that before. Yeah, I can see them doing it here, only forward a few years.
The actor will be playing their real age, and in the case of KJ who is I think only 22 years old, he'd play exactly his right age.

And they can say that Fred Andrews passed away in the years they skipped over.

Well, this will be nice.
Good of Shannen to do this in honour of her departed friend. I'm sure Luke's fans will appreciate it.

It sounds like this is something that might've happened even if Luke didn't die. He and Shannen had become good friends in recent years, and he really wanted to work with her again.
Shame we'll never get to see that happen, but this is a good enough compromise. I wonder who Shannen will play?

Shame we'll never get to see that happen, but this is a good enough compromise. I wonder who Shannen will play? It does sound that way, such a shame. It would have been fantastic to see Shannen with Luke on Riverdale. I remember Holly was originally going to be on the show, playing Jughead's mother, but since then it would mean both Shannen and Holly end up on the same show together, who knows what would have happened. I wonder if she'll play his sister. Now, might be odd, since Fred has never mentioned having a sister for 3 seasons, that I'm almost wondering, if she would be an old girlfriend or even a friend, who touched his life in the past. Guess we'll find out. I guess this explains why cast member Madchen posted a photo with Shannen a week before the news broke, saying Luke and Sarah Michelle (she played opposite her husband Freedie in Witches of East End) introduced them. I can see how these two became friends, given the bonds they shared. Also the new 90210 films in Vancouver also, so makes sense how Shannen could do that and Riverdale.

Kind of cool if Shannen played an old girlfriend that Fred had before he met Mary. Kind of a wink to Brenda/Dylan fans.

Yeah, heard that too. It's really nice that Shannen plays with. As a tribute to her friend Luke Perry.
