Too bad they didn't reference Spock's role in trying to save Romulus and his presumed death (we know he lived, tossed into an alternate reality, but the characters were wouldn't).
Love for Q to show up, except that John DeLancie is thirty years older. Well, when Michael Forrest reprised his role as Apollo in Star Trek Continues, the came up with a reason why he looked decades older (because the actor had aged). Maybe they could do the same here.

From what I've heard and seen online Riker, Data, Seven, and Deanna will guest star this season played by their respective actors/actresses plus Patrick Stewart invited Whoopi Goldberg 2 weeks ago on the talk show The View to come back for season 2 which she accepted that'll come out next year obviously.

And maybe we'll see more characters.
Not just from TNG, but Deep Space Nine and Voyager too.

Star Trek Picard season 3 to be the last. TrailerInformationTaken from Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_Picard_(season_3). The third and final season of the American television series Star Trek: Picard features the character Jean-Luc Picard as he is reunited with the former crew of the USS Enterprise. The season is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout, Weed Road Pictures, and Roddenberry Entertainment, with Terry Matalas serving as showrunner. Patrick Stewart stars as Picard, reprising his role from the series Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as other Star Trek media. Also returning from The Next Generation are LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner, with Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd also starring. A third season was informally green-lighted by January 2020, allowing it to be filmed back-to-back with the second season. Some third-season scenes were filmed during production on the second, which began in California in February 2021, before filming segued fully to the third in September. Stewart officially announced the season soon after, with filming ending in March 2022. The return of other Next Generation cast members was confirmed a month later, and Matalas hoped to make the season a satisfying ending for Picard's story and the whole Next Generation cast. The season is expected to premiere on the streaming service Paramount+ on February 16, 2023 and run for 10 episodes until April 20.

I'm not surprised.
Sir Patrick Stewart is not getting any younger.

No, he isn't but for fans of TNG, this will be nice seeing former crew members and a good send-off for Jean Luc as well of course.
Sir Patrick will still probably do movies or other television work though.

Season Three was excellent.
Loved every moment of it. A fitting send off for the TNG crew, all of them sitting around the table, playing cards. This season has been like spending time with old friends that you hadn't seen in a long time.
Looks like Q got better after all.

I did wonder why he was there talking to Jack when he was supposedly dead but I guess you can't put a benevolent being down for good then. And it seems Jack will now be tormented by Q as his father was as well.

Death for a Q is probably not the same as death for a human.
Can't keep a good character down.
