And this will be our super show for a while. Supergirl will be off for a year, due to Melissa having her baby.

Yeah, we won't see Supergirl or Legends until next summer most likely. I'm sure Supergirl might take Charmed reboot's slot, and Legends might take Superman and Lois or Flash's slot.

Superman will more than fill the gap.

It sure will be a success.
Now I hear, HBO Max is trying to kickstart the Superman movies for their streaming service next year with new director and different cuts, with the Justice League Snyder cut, since I believe Joss Whedon took over with directing and finishing the movie and so many hated how he made it less dark and more light-hearted. What is with people being so in love with a darker and grity Superman.

The Superman films for me will always be the Christopher Reeves ones and Superman Returns which I enjoyed over Zac Synders Man Of Steel and Batman Vs Superman.

What is with people being so in love with a darker and gritty Superman. I heard about that. Oh well, those fans can have their dark Superman, I'll just stick with Superman and Lois thanks. No disrespect to Henry, since I loved him in other roles. I did like the movie version of the Flash though in Justice League, but I'll presume all his humour is going to be toned down in the new Snyder cut of Justice League verse how Joss Whedon tried to make it a little more light-heart and fun. No thanks. Hopefully, the next Superman movie (I'm certain we'll get a new reboot within the next 18 years so close to when Superman turns 100 in 2038) which might come out in 18 years in time for Superman's 100th anniversary, will go back to the roots of Superman being more fun and less dark. The Superman films for me will always be the Christopher Reeves ones and Superman Returns which I enjoyed over Zac Synders Man Of Steel and Batman Vs Superman. Me too.

DC needs to give up on the movies. TV is where their success lies.

Yeah, they just never seem to give up on the films, do they? Not a fan of the darker version of Superman at all, but most of the younger generation loves this and is their Superman, well not mine. They can have theirs. Glad I don't have social media where all those fans like to talk down on Tyler's, and love Henry's. Each to their own.
Be interesting to see how much of Metropolis is shown in the series, since it is namely based in Smallville. But Superman would still be patrolling in the big city as per usual, and the daily planet will be shown. I guess it will be like in Smallville, where Clark lived on the farm and Lois at the Talon in the later seasons, but they still went to Metropolis for work.

Of course, with his speed, Clark could get from Smallville to Metropolis in seconds

Yeah I think they'd live on the farm and the kids would go to Smallville High school or whatever the name for that is here then Lois and Clark go into Metropolis and work at the Daily Planet with Superman saves occurring in Smallville and there obviously.

Could be. As I said, Clark could travel back and forth in seconds.
The only problem would be him explaining how he got there so fast.
