Clearly I had the 90s on my mind. Had a dream last night, might be because it's my birthday today and was thinking of an old birthday from my childhood. But I dreamed that the world reset back to the 90s decade and it couldn't be changed. To compromise the only things modern beyond the 90s that came to the 90s was HD televisions, DVDs, fast internet and flat screen computers. Smart phones, social media, streaming services and Apple stuff didn't make the cut. LOL don't I wish. That was a great dream.

Sounds like a fun dream.
I've had a few about the 80's myself.

It sure was Tim, just like I'm sure you had fun with the '80s in your dreams. It says something when you dream and think about good times or periods where you felt most happy. And I was a child in the '80s so I do have memories of that decade too, and loved it.
It has just felt like it has been all downhill ever the early to mid 2000s. But the 2010s were my least favourite decade I've lived in so far, 2020s so far are off to a bad start so far, but I'll have to live in this decade for another five years to be sure. But since some tend to count decades as starting with the year after e.g the decade starts with 2001-2010, and then 2011-2020, we'll then, including 2020, will truly make this the worst decade ever, with a horrible end if I'm counting 2020 with it.
If I had to rank the decades it would be: 1990s 1980s 2000s 2010s

Yeah, this past decade has been horrible. Take us back to the 80s and 90s. What I'd give to be the Halliwell's in 'That 70s Episode' to go back in time for 24 hours.

Don't forget about cultural decades, too. To most people, the 90s didn't truly start until late 1991 (Nirvana, fall of the USSR), and they didn't end until late 2001 (9/11). When I talk about "the 90s," I often include January 2000 - August 2001, because those months were very much an extension of late 90s optimism. This also means that we may not have seen the "real" 2020s yet, although it seems like every decade has steadily gotten worse since the 00s. Hopefully, January 20, 2021 ends up marking a new beginning.

I still have fond memories of the year 2000, it was the year I started college. I sure hope , January 20, 2021 ends up marking a new beginning too.

I would bury this decade in the bottom of an active volcano.

Well, this is cheery news.
And Global Warming is expected to render part of the planet, such as the Middle East, uninhabitable within a century.
