And she has fallen down. Big time!
Sucks to be an HP fan now.

Well, I'm glad then that I never was a HP fan.

Yeah, Jana, it was no great loss to either you or I.

Indeed. I'm so not into trending anything new. And HP was just one of these things.

However, to a lot of people, HP was big thing. And now that's gone.

I don’t get why JK Rowling couldn’t keep her mouth shut, why she had to alienate her audience. If I by some miracle became a famous author myself, I’d keep my mouth shut and only do social media for a book launch or to do a Q&A with fans. I just don’t understand why anyone in show biz would want to piss off their fans, they’re the ones who buy your stuff and make you rich. If Rowling had just shut up, or better, not believe this crap, all of this would have been avoided in the first place. This is not like before the 2000s when social media didn’t exist, if one posts stuff on social media people will hound and troll you if you piss them off. She should have shut her mouth in the first place if she had any idea this would piss off the fans.

I agree, she should have known better. Yet she just kept running her mouth off, getting in deeper and deeper.
As to why she did this... Beats me!

Looks like people want to offer their opinions on anything. Not good, especially being a celeb then.

You can do it if you're just Joe Schmoe from Bug Tussell, Tennessee.
However, if you're a world famous author with fans of millions, you might want to show a little more discretion.

Right as I speak, SyFy is doing an HP marathon!
Like, what in the world do those movies even have to do with sci-fi? Or, Halloween?
And, nice way to shit all over your trans viewers. F**k you, SyFy.

Looks like CTV Sci-Fi is not the only station out of touch.
Doesn't Syfy realize that, by showing this movies, they are supporting that bigot? Or do they simply not care.
And what does HP have to do with Halloween (as you said Betty). I know that the AMC channel has a lock on the Halloween and Friday The 13th movies, but surely there must be some other franchise that Syfy can show.

Same here, HP isn’t really Halloween and there’s tons of horror films for the SYFY channel to show. How about Nightmare on Elm St or Evil Dead or Dead Alive, or even made for TV horror.

These networks have decades of horror movies to pick from. Why waste time promoting bigot JKR's franchise that has nothing to do with Halloween? Why waste time on mediocre movies that stir up more controversy than they're worth? Can we -- just for ONCE -- let go of that damn boy wizard and start celebrating other books and other movies? Why are we so desperate to keep clinging to an overrated and problematic franchise that should've been left behind in 2007?

Definitely out of reach. HP is fantasy and not sci-fi. This channel needs to change its name then.

I know, right. I mean they could show plenty of movies that are closer to the spirit of Halloween.
So why pick HP? As I said, every time those movies are shown, money goes into that bigot's pocket. The HP franchise should be boycotted by all channels now that the truth about JKR is out.
