As promised opening credits for season 1 of our project done to the overall theme 'Carry On My Wayward Son' going from Mary dying to John visiting Missouri and Jim then cutting 22 years later with Sam in college and Dean visiting him before introducing the other supporting characters of course.
The people I didn't input like Donna and Jody were because there hardly seen in the first season but will show up in future videos whoever does one when there featured more throughout.

Good video, Katherine.
And Carry On My Wayward Son is a good choice for the theme.

Thanks guys I'm glad you liked it.
It was a bit of a pain completing the end bit after having done all the clips and colour grading the video because initially I wanted to add an overlay effect over the actors like fire, mist or particles etc and then an animated effect revealing their names like a lot of YouTubers do with their fan made credits to improve my own video editing skills which I'd like to do but everything I tried didn't look right so the end result was this but at least I'd shown the main gist of the video and was satisfied with what I'd done anyway so that's okay.

Great video, I love it!
I also love that you put the opening title from canon at the end, which fits to include those in every opening credits video.

Nice to have an opening theme. As I said, they seem to have fallen out of favour on real shows.
SPN never had one. We'd have the teaser, then the word SUPERNATURAL, would flash up. Then we'd cut to Dean and Sam talking while the actor credits and such appeared onscreen.
However, the show seemed to consider Carry On My Wayward Son as an unofficial theme. Only fitting that we use if, IMO.

Thanks guys. I'm glad you liked the video Trinity and Colton . Unfortunately the days of having opening credits for most shows seem to die out from 2005 when programmes started having short clips and then the title afterwards or just the latter in Supernatural's case. That's not to say there aren't shows that don't have opening credits. Netflix still adopt these with some of their dramas like with the now finished Orange Is The New Black and Marvel shows. Even Game Of Thrones that I never watched had that for 8 seasons which I viewed on YouTube and thought were pretty cool with the concept of showing Westeros that always reminds me of Lord Of The Rings. YouTube has many fan made Supernatural opening credit videos done by people either with Carry On my Wayward Son as the theme or something else plus alternative ones done in other show styles like Smallville, Buffy, Outlander, Brooklyn 911, and Psych also then which folks can view.

SPN used Carry On My Wayward son at the start of every season. Why they didn't use it for credits, I don't know.
Had SPN come on ten years earlier, it might have done that.

Yeah, it certainly would have had opening credits if it aired a few years earlier.

Yeah, it would have. And they probably would have used this song, as it fits.
Especially in the early seasons, when Dean and Sam were doing their Walking The Earth thing.

And the songs aptly named for Sam and Dean because the lyrics here "They'll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest. Don't you cry no more." literally describe what happened to the Winchesters after doing all the hunting they done with Dean in heaven driving baby and Sam having either been married or not with a kid growing old before he joined his brother afterwards of course.
