Yup, it is, so I'll get offline soon to watch. I have my night and well planned to enjoy it. And we'll have all weekend to discuss this here, can't wait.

Downloaded it and watched it right away. I liked it. Seeing Jared again in a starring role is so great, although I still see him as Sam Winchester, but I'll get there. While I am not very familiar with the original series, aside from a few episodes, I think I can safely say that this version is going to be great, it has what the original never had, and that's the family dynamic. It also helps that the show has so many actors are involved that I know of. Jared performed well and delivered a nuance that made his various scenes believable from his vulnerable scenes to the sternness of being a father and law enforcement officer and just the relaxed wholesome family moments very convincingly he carried the show as the lead. Odette Anable (Reign from Supergirl is on here) I forgot about her, she isn’t a series regular, but I liked her. I will be adding Walker to my permanent watchlist. It has the potential to be great, just like most pilots, it needs time to grow and build.

I loved the Austin vibe and the locations, and the golden-toned hues, and the Texas of it all. I really liked Micki Ramirez, and she is very tough even if she looks so tiny on screen. There was so much going on with the family dynamic. This is going to leave plenty of room for story, and I'm looking forward to it. Looks like this is going to be a Case of the Week show with the overall arc of who murdered Emily. I liked Gen's role here as Walker's wide, she was great. Walker dragging his friend out to two step. Saw some real charm there and want to see the full dancing in the future. The Captain. I'm already really not convinced he's going to be the bad guy. More thought later, but heading off to bed now.

Yeah, Jared did a good job in the scenes. Me too, I forgot all about Odette Anable being on the show, too, yeah, she's recurring not a regular.

That's the impression I got. Clearly, Walker suspects that there is more to it than he initially thought.
I liked it. Gonna stick with it.
And I too kept waiting for Dean to show up in the Impala!

I liked it.
Loved seeing Austin the real city and not a typical fake Vancouver backdrop. It was visually appealing to me.
Nice to see the show brighty filmed/lit. My sister who watched it with me said she noticed a big difference compared to other CW shows.
I picked up on Jared's real Texas accent once or twice in this.
Nice that Jared got to use some of that hand-to-hand.
I don't see Walker as a jerk as some reviews on the net say. I see him as troubled. He's lost his wife.
The undercover work also seemed to mess him up. He spent nearly a year not being himself, and I have a feeling it was emotionally draining. They keep bringing it up, so I'm sure we'll find out more about that at some point.
He took his mothers advise to heart and showed appreciation for his son and told his daughter he wouldn't take the undercover work.
The show ended with his children around him, which is a good sign.
I like that the partner is a bad-ass, but not in an overblown way, where she's tough as nails all of the time.
Also love that she has a funny and awesome boyfriend, and they seem to adore each other, so I'm hoping that will put an immediate no on the two of them getting together. Unless it happens years later like Mulder and Scully.
The whole cast is great, and yes, the captain being reasonable is a refreshing change.

Just downloaded the pilot episode which I'll watch some point although I still haven't seen the final 7 episodes of Supernatural yet either then which shows how I'm not as television obsessed as I was in my younger days obviously.

What!? Some people are just mean.
Geez, the man lost the love of his life and it trying to reconnect with his family, while trying to do his job. Give him a break!

It was different seeing Jared not being Sam Winchester which I'm so used to without the beard and shorter hair but he was good and different from Chuck's Walker of course.
Man I forgot how tall Jared was when seeing him and Genevieve in their first scene.
He looks good in a hat.
I enjoyed how the shows different from the original and not trying to be like that carving it's own path with it being family orientated and actually been set in a Texas town.
The family dynamics worked here with all the actors gelling together.
You can tell it's set in Texas and not Vancouver location wise which was a nice change seeing.
Been a native Texan Jared will do okay here.
The supporting characters fitted well throughout.
Micki was badass despite being small.
One of the shows driving forces this season will focus on Emily's murder I assume and how the person convicted of killing her isn't the one who done it of course.
I'm glad Cordell took his mother's advice and hope his relationship with Stella and Austin improves.
Will watch next weeks episode.

I really liked it.
What really added was filming in Texas. That really set it apart and love how It adds to the show as it's own character.
I really liked the family stories. And liked the relationship they have with each other. The dynamics between Walkers family is really interesting, there is clearly a lot going on there to explore, and I am really happy that they are doing a lot with his extended family. His daughter is lashing out and angsty, his son is going the other direction and trying to be the "good" kid who no one needs to worry about, his brother is frustrated at Walker for leaving him to parent his kids and is now seemingly annoyed at being left behind, his mom is the tough but fair matriarch, and his dad is a well meaning with old fashioned views.
I really liked how Walker and August had a good father and son elationship. You can tell August missed his dad.
I liked Micki as Walkers new partner. She was fun.
I am rather impressed at how much Jared has already made Walker a different character than Sam Winchester, despite me so strongly associating him with Sam for so long.
I will be back next week.

Being made in Texas is why Jared did the show. Nice that he can now work where he lives and not have to travel thousands of miles.

Wow! Seriously. I agree, give him a break. This is realistic. They want it swept under the rug.
