Whoa, I did not know that. I guess these folks would love such a crossover to happen.
The Doctor and Sherlock could take the Impala for a spin (over Dean's objections, of course).

Thanks for the links. I'll be sure to take a look at these stories.
The latest season of Sherlock will be starting to air over here soon. I've seen the ads on BBC Canada.

I already watched the English version of Sherlock S4, (have friends who are also interested), yet the German version will air around May. That's the plan here.

Sherlock Holmes is one of those characters that has stood the test of time. I mean it's been about 130 years now since the first books came out.
Of course, the current series updates Sherlock Holmes to the 21st Century, but he's still basically the same character.

But it's great! I so love this Sherlock. From the start, so to speak. Caught my interest at once.

Have either of you seen Elementary by any chance the American version of Sherlock with Johnny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu in it? I haven't though it is showing over here on TV.

I've seen a few episodes, it's okay, and Lucy does a great job in it.
It's an interesting new take on the story. A Watson who is both female and Asian. Nice way to bring the story into the 21st Century.

I also watched a few episodes but I prefer the English version with Benedict and Martin. Maybe I'm biased here.

No your not Jana. Your just one of the people out there who amongst others think Benedict's the quintisentual modern day Sherlock obviously.
That's just how good Ben's acting is and Martin's too.

They cast a good actor with Benedict.
He has a Doctor Who connection. His mother, Wanda Ventham, appeared in a few Classic Who stories.

I saw an episode of Elementary yesterday although not all of it because it appears after Sanctuary and the modern Hawaii Five O on the same channel my mum likes watching.
She thought it was quite strange seeing a female Watson but a nice take on it none the less.
I still prefer Sherlock though probably because I'm used to the London setting and 221B Baker Street as it's so iconic although that's not to say the American versions rubbish or anything from the good reviews I've heard about it.

Sadly, there are people out there who are not so open minded about Lucy's performance as the female Watson.
Betty even commented that someone had called her a "fortune cookie chink". I mean what century is this again?

I tried to watch it but with "Sherlock" already running, I guess it was out then. I didn't mind a female Watson but maybe we were biased here also by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his portrait of Dr. Watson.
