I remember reading Soul of the Bride and found how they handled the Greek Mythology was much better than the show.

Looks like the author of that book actually did proper research.
Guess such research would have been too much like work for Kernus and his writers.

Reading Summer Reading's story and how she used 'The Power of Three novels' for her first episodes, got me thinking about all the wonderful Charmed novels.
So I went looking for this thread. I hope to be able to track down the novels, although maybe I do have some somewhere still, and just need to find them.
I remember loving Dark Vengeance, Voodoo Moon and Whispers From the Past. Especially because, I remember loving what the novel writers did was miles better, than the real S4-S8. That I'd love if all the novels in the Paige era were real episodes. Especially because they researched their stories better.
I just wished they decided to revive the Charmed novels and do some that are set after season 7, ignoring season 8, or ones that ignore Forever Charmed.

I loved Dark Vengeance, such a great plot and one I think works better than the Brotherhood or even the Rowe Coven, don't you think. The writing in that one was perfect with the backstories, even if Diana had a habit of writing Paige out to be a super witch at times. I also liked Voodoo Moon for the New Orleans stuff, and it was a fun novel if a little scary. But still, a fun one to see the sisters on holiday. I also loved Whispers From the Past with Prue and Piper turning evil, and Phoebe stuck in the past with Prudence. A couple of inconsistencies, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I also liked the two new novels set during the Comic run, since it includes Prue. So many wonderful moments and references to the past. We got to see Prue finally learn that Phoebe's boyfriend's cat was the one who ruined her jacket, not Piper. The two novels were fantastic, and I wished they decided to turn the comics into novels, at least season 9, not Season 10 (when Kernus 2.0 took over). That would be fantastic.

Try second hand book stores. You might find some of them there.
Unlike Fan Fictions, the novels were bound by canon. Even if the authors wanted to, they were not allowed to ignore Season 8 or Forever Charmed.
Like meeting Melinda Warren's daughter in 1651, nineteen years before Melinda was even born!
You mean the ebooks?

I believe those ebooks are going to be turned into actual novels, but I'm not sure if they are out yet.
Yeah, some novels could do with some good editing, a number of novels had stuff like that I reckon.
I'm going to go hunting for these at second-hand book stores. I'd love to be able to read them again.

Another good book, great at showing Paige in her element. I'll definitely do a few reviews but it may take me a while as I'm currently reading a different series and would like to re-read them before I review them. Yeah, I think a number of the novels did a better job with the second set of sisters than even the show. Many of the novels featuring Paige, I really liked. I remember reading Soul of the Bride and found how they handled the Greek Mythology was much better than the show. One, I truly loved. Ten times better than Oh My Goddesses or any of the other terribly written Greek mythology episodes. Reading Summer Reading's story and how she used 'The Power of Three novels' for her first episodes, got me thinking about all the wonderful Charmed novels. So I went looking for this thread. And many of these novels, I hope to include in some way in my series. I hope you can find Charmed novels somewhere. I like many of the novels you have mentioned. Whispers From the Past was one of my favorites, now if I used that for my series and I'm thinking about it strongly, I'll fix many of the inconsistencies it made to make it work for mine.

I hope you are able to fix more issues in your series. If you use Whispers From the Past in your stories, your way. Any of the sisters meeting Prudence would be in the early 1700s. Depending on how old you make her, Summer.
I'm going to crack open some of my novels. This thread has sparked some interest in me reading them now.

I hope so. I like reading books the old fashioned way.
Good luck, Katie. Hope you find some.
The only real mistake in that one is the aforementioned 1651 date. Just move that up about fifty years or so, and you'll be fine.

Ten times better than Oh My Goddesses or any of the other terribly written Greek mythology episodes. The author really did a good job and research. I loved that innocents had to be rescued, and one of the sisters had some consequences where they might die I think. Good story, I hope I can get hold of this novel. That sounds great to incoporate some of the novels into your series. I hope you are able to fix more issues in your series. If you use Whispers From the Past in your stories, your way. Thanks. Yeah, not a big issue, just a little fix-up.

I really hope the newer books get published.
I'm 52, I don't do Kindle.

Don't have Kindle.
I found books on eBay, and they have some novels. If I'm not outbid, I'll buy them. They had a pretty decent collection size of novels.
So if I win these, I'll have to make a list, of what I'm missing.

Try Amazon as well. Mind you, you need an account with them to buy anything (I've had an Amazon account for the last twenty years now, and have bought many a book from them).
