When the X-Files came back, the Monster Of The Week episodes were better received that the conspiracy ones.

They were, although I didn't mind the mythology episodes in S10, they really dropped the ball in S11.
Overall, I still liked S10 & S11, just outside of the few myth episodes in S11, it was good.

They should have ditched the myth stuff. It was never too popular anyway.

Yeah, it ended after S6 when the original myth arc ended. I really did enjoy the ones in the earlier seasons.
I really liked how much fun Gillian had in some of the comedic episodes of season 10 and 11, I've seen the behind the scenes, and she has so much fun with those.
