Well, The Car is a pretty obscure cult film, which came out decades before you were born.
Still, it is a creepy little film.
Pennywise and Barbus teaming up. Sounds good.

In terms of Stephen King, you could have original characters turn up or vehicles/objects with different names similar to characters portrayed through King's novels that could be referenced to like in Supernatural season 1 when you had the phantom truck killing people on route 666 and when Sam and Dean thought they'd found James Dean's car 'Little Bastard' and Dean compared that to Christine. Also, Brian Krause Leo played a vampiric shapeshifting type character in a Stephen King film called 'Sleepwalkers' en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleepwalkers_(film) which could be a similar thing that happens doing a throwback maybe. And if you do bring Pennywise in you could have him be some kind of myth or legend the Elders know of whose being referenced in occult books and known throughout the magic world but never seen which could be what gives King inspiration for his novel documenting other things like Kudjo to perhaps though I've never read any of his books myself obviously.

I've seen that movie. The Sleepwalkers hate cats, because cats can kill them.

Yeah set Kitt or Salem on them and they'll have no chance Tim.

Wow, I've got two movies to watch! And Barbas and Pennywise is a good idea that I may or may not do. Melinda Halliwell That sounds very interesting and I'll definitely add it with the list of Pennywise incorporation ideas. If I use it, I'll definitely give you credit for it. But as of the moment, I'm going to set Pennywise aside until I find the right time to bring him in. Thank you Tim and melindahalliwell (I don't know what you prefer to go by ๐ซ ) for the ideas about Pennywise, it helps a lot. I owe you both.

Pennywise: We all float down here. And when you're down here with us, YOU'LL FLOAT TOO!!
This is no doubt why so many people hate clowns.
Sleepwalkers was unique for Stephen King in that it was an original screenplay that he wrote, it wasn't one of his books adapted into a movie.

The movie came out in 1992. So Brian would have been 23 then.

***since we're not really discussing a specific story now, I created this Blessed General Discussion thread***
Odd to see Brian playing such an evil character.

~ Melinda Halliwell ~ 1. What would you like me to call you, so I don't have to use your username all the time? I ask because I use Tim instead of RexandHannah. 2. Young Brian Krause is Mr. Yum. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks that, but I think he's gorgeous. ~ Tim ~ 1. Thank you for the discussion thread, I would've created one myself..had I thought of it. This makes it easier now for the episodes, so if I do post acts in their own posts then they won't get separated. 2. That's a great idea, though I don't know much about the character..I'll definitely do the research for him. BLESSED OPENING CREDITS!

These are great opening credits. Loved how you mixed Charmed and It together.
Interesting trivia: Stephen King has cited H.P. Lovecraft as one of his literary heroes. The creature It, could be from Lovecraft's world.
And Rex and Hannah live in Lovecraft's world now
BTW: In the Dead Zone, Stephen King gave us Greg Stillson, a corrupt businessman who went into politics. Johnny Smith (the hero of the novel), saw a future in which Stillson became President of the United States (and started a nuclear war).
Of course, that could never happen in real life, a corrupt businessman becoming POTUS.
Oh wait...
