Exactly. It is a good thing. I really enjoyed watching the show again, it has aged so well. Okay, the only downside is special effects, but who cares. The Wizard of Oz is a classic, I don't care about special effects. It's plots and acting that make a show.

I really don't care much about F/X. Classic Doctor Who never had good ones, but I still loved that show.

Me too, I don't care about F/X.
I know most of the younger crowd today really do. I hear them complain all the time they don't watch anything that is dated with F/X. I can't help but roll my eyes. Seriously!

There is yes but some people like good action scenes and great special effects more I suppose.

Still, it has to be the characters that are the main focus.
Luckily, Xena has good characters to focus on.

It really had good characters and plots. That is what matters.
Special effects could be wonderful but the script and characters are dull. Nope, I like it the other way round thanks.

For sure! I'm so pleased Lucy has done so well for herself since Xena ended nearly 20 years ago. So many roles.

According to Wikipedia, she's done a few Christian based movies.
Funny, but that is what Kevin Sorbo has been doing as well.

I mostly know him for playing Dylan Hunt on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda sci-fi series barring Hercules and that's it.
