Nice seeing Elizabeth post that. I wonder if she will use the name Kansas as a nickname for Clark in the Superman and Lois series the same when Erica nicknamed Clark Smallville in the title show? It would be fitting considering. Very nice, I heard stories on how much the cast adores her, and like her work on Grimm. She is a very lovely person. I wonder that too, I think it is fitting she'll call Clark that as nickname. I can't wait for the show and flashbacks they'll show of when they first meet, which I'm sure they are going to do. I wonder, if they'll show Superman finding Kara's pod from his point of view. It's a big event, I'd love to see from his POV.

Yeah, imagine that is what they'll do.
I'd love if the flashbacks incorporated some little nods to all the past versions. Like little scenes they are somewhat similar to the older versions.

Would be fun if they did that.

Yes. I am curious about what role Lana Lang is going to have since she's been mentioned as one of the supporting cast regulars. Since of course, I don't see them using Chloe who was a popular character in Smallville, and although she was mentioned on Supergirl as a friend of Clark's, they might just give Lana lots of story as Clark's longtime friend. In the comics, Lana had a storyline as Superwoman. Although, this story has also been used with Lucy Lane too. In the story, Lucy was blackmailed by her father, General Sam Lane, into performing acts of villainy such as murdering Agent Liberty, who had been spying on General Lane and Lex Luthor. It played out in the Supergirl comics. I believe fans speculated, had Supergirl not moved to Vancouver, this may have been what they did with Lucy in Season 2. I do wonder, if they'll recast Lucy the same way they recast Sam Lane? I just won't be surprised the Superwoman arc plays out on Superman and Lois. Since the powers both Lucy and Lana got in the comics was shortlived, so they don't have to have them forever.

Me too, Tim, me too. Yes. I am curious about what role Lana Lang is going to have since she's been mentioned as one of the supporting cast regulars. But, Lana does have a pretty big supporting role in the comics from time to time. Some versions she was even married to Pete Ross. I do think they'll recast Lucy if they bring her on. If they recast Sam, they may as well do her, and they will just forget all the continuity Supergirl did in S1 with those two. Lucy hasn't made a comeback in years, and I just see Superman and Lois going a different direction with Lucy, if she does show up. But here, she is married and has daughters. I'm assuming, her kids and Clark/Lois sons go to the same school.

Superman and Lois are married with kids. Don't see much of a part for Lana here.

Superman and Lois are married with kids. Don't see much of a part for Lana here. We'll have to see, since she is already confirmed as a regular with her husband and children in the series with a big part. I'll bump up the thread for you Tim, I was reading about it on the board.

Superman and Lois are married with kids. Don't see much of a part for Lana here. You must have missed all the news that she is going to be part of the cast. Which is what we are discussing atm, speculating what role she might have. I'm with Mystic Boy though, I do think they are using her so her kids and Clark's kids have stories. Of course, I do wonder what her relationship with Lois is like, and if they are on friendly terms. Not that she'll be jealous, no freaking way, do I see any drama between them all. I'll wonder, if they originally wanted to use Chloe, but because Allison Mack tainted the character somewhat with her real dramas, they went with Lana instead. I know, Chloe was mentioned on Supergirl as a friend of Clark's with a similar backstory to Smallville's Chloe. I can see why they may have switched Chloe to Lana, as someone Clark knows.

Yeah, Chloe is kind of tainted, due to what Allison mack did.
And the character is probably copyrighted to its creator.

Yeah, it really sucks really. As I loved Chloe on Smallville as Clark's best friend. Had the stuff with Allison never happened, we likely would have seen a new Chloe. Oh well. But, I'm glad they did get a chance before the stuff with Allison came out, with her being mentioned in a flashback helping Kara with tech stuff and name dropping stuff from Smallville with her character.

Yeah, best to leave Chloe in the past.

Considering how quick Clark can read a book or type on a computer he wouldn't need anyone finding out information for him.
