Supernatural's Jeffrey Dean Morgan pays tribute to the show after announcement it's ending.

It's truly the end of an era, as Supernatural will be concluding next year after 15 seasons.
Numerous former actors of the show have been reacting to the news, but yesterday (March 26) saw Jeffrey Dean Morgan paying tribute.
Morgan appeared as Dean and Sam Winchester's father John – a character who was a huge part of the first two seasons. He returned in 2019, around 12 years after his previous appearance during season two, for a highly emotional guest spot.
Writing about the recent announcement that Supernatural is ending next season, the actor said: "One more twit for the day, it's late.
"I just want to say to all of @cw_spn family... that was one hell of a run. I hope this last year is enough time to wrap up a story that deserves only the best.
"My love to cast, crew, and fans. @jensenackles and @jarpad ya done us proud."

Although Morgan's brief return provided some closure for the characters, there's every chance that he could make at least one more appearance before the show's end.
"My dream would be to come back and do something in the last year, the last episode, the last couple of episodes, whatever, and do a proper little arc," he said in January.
"Like I say to everybody – it's Supernatural. Anything can happen."
