Another thing we can blame Kernus for wrecking.
I remember coming across CRR some years back and was sad to see it end. Wasn't Jackie AKA AssassinWitch also involved in that, or am I thinking of someone else.
Yes she was. It was Jackie, Camille (Fourever Charmed), Xenith and I.

Ah, I was right.
Anyway, I liked it. Sad to see it end, but, that has happened to a lot of Charmed Fan Fic series. No doubt mostly due to Real Life getting in the way.
This is what sank the excellent Charmed Destined series, some years back. Real Life caused both authors to drop out.

Hope you don't mind, Astral Echo, but I went and googled C:RR. It still exists, but it hasn't been updated in a while: resetreality.proboards.com/

Yeah, it was all real life. I was very young when I started it while Jackie and Camille were both doing their degrees. We had plans for the later seasons but unfortunately Camille disappeared at the end of 2009 just after we wrapped on Season 6. She wrote a lot of the episodes as she was always the strongest writer out fo the four of us. Jackie, Xenith and I did a bit of cowriting but mostly just plotted out the episodes and shaped the main arcs. However, the end of Season 6 was all Camille and only she really knew how we were going to write ourselves out of the position we were in. Now I'm a much more confident writer myself, I have toyed with revisiting it and trying to push ahead with Season 7 myself. Jackie and Xenith were both interested in helping produce it as recently as 2016. But it would involve in rereading everything and going through all our own notes which amount to 1000's of posts that we made in our private forums. So it would be a mammoth task and not one I'm sure I'd seriously want to revisit. I certainly wouldn't announce anything as I'd hate to get readers hopes up, as we do have members that pop onto the boards every now and again. And as I said before, a lot of the lore of the Charmed world I'm no longer a fan of, so being tied that might restrict me too much creatively. That said, our endgame plans were so exciting, I'm sad we never got there. And yes, BettyNewbie. The forum is still there. I'd never want to take it down as it's good to preserve the work we did. And any new readers it still gets is always a bonus as I'm still proud of what we did achieve.

So many broken/watermarked images there, courtesy of PhotoSuckIt. Crazy how much Charmed fandom used to rely on them for image hosting. Yeah, it was all real life. People started dropping out due to RL, and the series just withered away without ever being finished. Fan series are tough to run. It amazes me that Tim has managed to keep his going for as long as he has. As you said earlier, it might be better to start fresh at this point. It's sad that C:RR was never finished, but it might be too late to try to start it back up.

That's the board I saw, some years ago.
The series seems to have ended in 2009.
There are posts from Jay (Nubianwitch) there.
So many broken/watermarked images there, courtesy of PhotoSuckIt. Crazy how much Charmed fandom used to rely on them for image hosting. Grr, tell me about it. We had so many fantastic skins back then, made by much more talented graphic designers than me, which I had to deactivate. Now you have to put up with the amateur attempt I made so there was at least something.

I used to be a member of a website called Monster Zero Productions that had all manner of "virtual shows" from ALIAS spin-offs and Buffy continuations to completely original programmes. But as everyone gets older, it gets harder to maintain. Even when you're doing it alone. I applaud anyone who is able to see their project through from beginning to end. One thing that has always worried me is none of us have ever been able to track Camille down. Xenith and I had contact with her via AIM until late 2009 and Jackie had contact with her via FaceBook until around 2010 but I guess she just got to the point where she wanted to put that part of her life behind her. I only hope it wasn't something more sinister. But I think you're right. Part of the magic is gone. And it was the four of us collectively that made the experience so special. We even got name checked in a few academic studies which was really cool. But it was so long ago now, I don't know whether it would be the same. And I hate to tarnish the memory if I went it alone and ultimately ruined the whole series.

I'll help as much as I can, Dan. C:RR board just needs a little attention.

Now you have to put up with the amateur attempt I made so there was at least something. I switched to Postimages a long time ago and never looked back. Don't even need an account to use it. Sad that PhotoSuckIt caused you to lose so much great fanart. A lot of it was probably also made by people who haven't been around in years. I've seen it happen a lot on all sorts of creative forums. I used to be a member of a website called Monster Zero Productions that had all manner of "virtual shows" from ALIAS spin-offs and Buffy continuations to completely original programmes. And, my main fandom is Daria, which is way smaller than Charmed. So, you still got far more done than I ever have. I hope nothing bad happened to Camille. It's never good when people just disappear like that without any warning.

For those of you unfamiliar, Charmed: Reset Reality (henceforth to be referred to as C:RR) was launched in 2006. The reason, the same for many such projects around that time, the authors were unhappy with the direction of the show in the later seasons and decided to make their own.
The creators of C:RR were Astral Echo (Dan), Drama (Jackie, now the Cafe Admin), Xenith (don't know this person's real name), and Camille (Fourever Charmed).
The premise was that Prue didn't die at the end of S3, but the sisters would still find Paige. Of course, this caused a problem, as it upset the balance, after all, it was the Power Of Three, not Four. This was resolved when Piper decided to give up her Charmed powers, and thus the balanced was maintained (of course, she could still mix potions and such).
Basically, C:RR replaced the canonical Seasons Four, Five, and Six. And there were other changes, aside from Prue being still alive. For one thing, there was no Wyatt. Rather Piper gave birth to twins, Chris and Melinda. Also, they kept the original idea of The Founders, instead of the Elders. And, of course, the episodes were different.
C:RR managed three seasons before it suffered the same fate as so many other such projects, namely Real Life got in the way. Dan and Jackie, for example, were teenagers when C:RR started. By the end of what turned out to be the final season, both were moving into adulthood and thus no longer had as much time to devote to C:RR.
However, what really sunk them was the mysterious disappearance of Camille in 2009. Camille had become their primary writer, she came up with many of the major storylines, with Dan, Jackie, and Xenith, contributing ideas and such. Camille disappeared after completing the cliffhanger ending of Season Six. All attempts by the others to contact her went unanswered and, without her, C:RR quietly died.
With the project effectively dead, people began to leave the board, until it became a ghost town.
When I joined the C:RR board last year, I had arrived long after the party had ended, still I tried my best to help. I even wrote en episode (with Dan's approval, of course). I had this old script in my files, The Return Of Rex and Hannah. It was an alternate S5 premier that I wrote way back in 2002. I tweaked it up to be a C:RR story. I placed it ten episodes into Season Seven. I did that because I decided to leave the S6 cliff hanger alone, and just assumed that everything was sorted out.
And I've toyed with the idea of doing another episode.
