Placeholder for my rewrite of the pilot episode of the Charmed reboot.
Preview of Season 1:
Charmed 1x1 "The Charmed Ones"
SERIES PREMIERE PART ONE - When Marisol Vera (Valerie Cruz) has a terrifying premonition in the Vera Manor, after a near fatal attack against her two daughters Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Maggie's (Sarah Jeffery). It prompts, Marisol to reveal the truth about her family heritage, when she gathers her daughrers and reveals they're actually powerful witches, like her. She also lets them in on a little secret, they have a long lost older sister named Macy (Madeleine Mantock), who moved from England, about six months ago, wanting to find her birth family.
Episode script to be added when written
Charmed 1x2 "The Charmed Ones" (Part 2)
SERIES PREMIERE PART TWO - Following, a tense reunion at the Vera Manor, with the emotions of all three sisters running high, each of the girls suddenly exhibit impossible new abilities: Mel can freeze time, Maggie starts hearing others' thoughts and Macy has telekinetic powers. While trying to understand their new powers, Marisol gives her daughters a choice, the sisters must make the decision to accept their new destiny as The Charmed Ones... and their new duty to protect humankind from the evil that walk among them.
Episode script to be added when written
Charmed 1x3 "Sibling Rivalry"
MESSAGE FROM BEYOND - After getting a message from the spirit board to not trust their mother Marisol Vera (Valerie Cruz), the sisters are conflicted and ultimately concoct a plan to see if she is telling the truth, if their powers truly come from a source of good and not from evil. Desperate to believe the person warning them is trying to protect them, they end up going against their better judgement. Marisol soon realizes that her daughters are up to no good and tries to help before it's too late. Meanwhile, this new sisterly unit is not fully unified, with Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Macy (Madeleine Mantock) struggling with who's the real big sister and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) caught in the middle.

Thanks, Pia. Making changes to the show. It's basically me making S1 a bit more about introducing the characters first. Half the time, it felt like they had four seasons of plotlines rolled into one. Why I decided to keep Marisol alive, at least at the start. So her death would have much more impact, than killing her literally as we met her. I'm still writing my pilot script. It will be a bit different, while still keeping some plotlines. The reason why Macy hadn't been raised with her sisters will be revealed, I just am working that out. Since Madeleine was born in England. I decided to make her having grown up here. What better way to keep her a secret, than her living in another country. It's why I always didn't like how Paige on the OG, was literally living on the other side of town. That just made no sense to me. You'd think they'd want Paige raised on the other side of the country. Because chances are, she's bound to run into her sisters at some point.

I like the slight changes you made here matt like having Macy be British because Madeline herself is that obviously. I also like how you kept Marisol alive at the start for the reasons you stated above.

I decided to have fun making Macy be British because of Madeline herself. In my universe, she'll get to keep her British accent.
Yes, I decided to give Marisol alive, so we'll get to have a bit of time with her. . So when she dies, her death will have a bigger impact on all three. I haven't decided when though, but my plan is she'll be gone either mid-season 1 or at the end of season 1. The backstory with Macy being given away, of course will be changed slightly.

At least we knew Marisol's name when the reboot stared. We didn't learn Penny or Patty's names until That 70's Episode!

At least we knew Marisol's name when the reboot stared. We didn't learn Penny or Patty's names until That 70's Episode! True. We didn't until then. Only thing the reboot needs to do is flesh out more is the family history. We don't know too much about their family, as in who is their Melinda Warren is, who is Marisol's mother etc. I do appreciate that we met Marisa's maternal first cousin and Joséfina. Plus Mel's father, and know about Maggie and Macy's father. Charmed mentioned a cousin and aunt in the first episode and Patty named Phoebe after her favourite aunt in That 70s Episode. Plus Great Aunt Sylvia in Size Matters. But we never meet any of them. One downside of the OG series. Hopefully they dig into that more. Then, I'll have more fun ideas to work off for my own fanfics.

And no doubt you'll have some in your stories. I sure will, Tim. A bit distracted writing more over the past few days. My sister's birthday was yesterday. Why I wasn't online or posting at all yesterday. And Easter will be a busy one for me too. Then the following weekend, we have another public holiday on the 25th. As you can tell, very busy month with holidays for us here. So, I'll likely be posting my finished first episode scripts after the holidays.
