Throughout the show, there were certain characters not well-received by fans who thought they could've been portrayed better so if you'd been a writer having the opportunity to pen one of those differently how would you introduce or change them obviously? Would you place said character in an earlier or later season? Give them a different power if they were supernatural perhaps? Have them in more episodes if they weren't in a lot originally? Change their backstory or relationship with a different person possibly?
I can't wait to see what people come up with.

I'd have fixed Christy Jenkins. No way she would have stayed loyal to the Triad, after they had her parents killed.
Christy would have come to her senses, and helped defeat the Triad. Finally, she would have survived the final battle.

Christy being redeemed. I'd have just had her agree to bind or strip her powers and leave with Billie and go somewhere else.

Ditto on Christie.
I always considered her an innocent who was brainwashed by the Triad since she was a kid and believed her view on the sisters being the ultimate evil and not her and Billie because of the girls' selfish natures in season 8 minus Paige sometimes who cared about saving people still.
It's a shame the sisters never thought of Christie's captivity before actively trying to kill her even though Phoebe tried to reason with her beforehand.
I would've had them do that and then if Christie couldn't be helped had her powers bound like the Evil Enchantress which was a common rule in the show concerning witches and then had Christie see a counsellor about her captivity but made sure the person knew she was a witch obviously.
Anyway going off Christie the couple of characters I would've fixed are the Source and Chris then.
I will concentrate on the Source first and do Chris next.
So the Source would've been the devil's right-hand man in the Underworld Charmed's version of hell.
He's the red-cloaked winged person with the sword from AHBL looking like that because of his association with the devil being red in his true form and everything.
The Source rose in the ranks getting where he was naturally.
Leo or Cole explain no one knows the Source's identity because they've never seen him as he's always been shrouded in mystery.
His true form is not shown until the last episode of the penultimate season because the earlier versions of him are the Source-possessing people like he did in Charmed Again parts 1 and 2 so he can walk amongst people on Earth actually.
He's often spoken about beforehand though
There's a hierarchy in Charmed concerning the level of bosses the sisters face who get stronger as the girls do so going on the show's 8-year tenure the type of villains they would've faced each year are listed as below.
Season 1 various human criminals, and low-level evil adversaries.
Season 2 - Bacarra an upper-level Warlock.
Season 3 the Triad the Devil's sorcerers.
Season 4 - The Crone and Seer. (Maybe they're sisters or cousins perhaps.)
Season 5 - That year's villains are split into two with the first being Gideon fitting in until Wyatt's birth. Then the Avatars afterwards and their proposal of Utopia.
Season 6 - Like season 5 the villains again are split into two with Zankou coming first a Knight of Hell like the ones from Supernatural then The Four Horseman subsequent.
Season 7 - The Source Lucifer's General.
Season 8 - The Devil himself.
Because of the Source's power, the Charmed Ones can't vanquish him so they have no choice but to lock him up instead.
The trouble is the Crone and Seer only created one cage that held someone that evil then. The Source is nearly as powerful as Lucifer but not so much and because he already occupies the space when the sisters lock the Source up they inadvertently release Lucifer unknowing to them until the season 8 premiere.

Christy being redeemed. I'd have just had her agree to bind or strip her powers and leave with Billie and go somewhere else. I think in our CCDOW we won't be including them at all. We'll share ours publicly when we've proofed and ready. As we're still doing them privately in PMs. But I hope once we finish that to get back to my Charmed: Reimagined series I have at FF.net. I think mine will just focus on the earlier seasons and will keep Prue and Andy alive. But I'll see when I get back to it one day. But I agree with Christy being redeemed and her just getting her powers taken away.

That would be great to see. I get why you won't until you lot are done with CCDOW and ready to publicly share them when you all agree of course.

In case some of you are wondering why I haven't mention Rex and Hannah.
Simple, I've already re-written them in my R&H Chronicles.

I thought you wouldn't because of that Tim but if you'd had the opportunity to rewrite the characters on the actual series how would you have done that perhaps?
It would be interesting to read whether you would have brought them in season 1 still or later on and whether they would have had the same powers also.
Anyway as promised my interpretation of Chris since I did the Source already.
Firstly I'm not changing when Chris comes in so like the original series that's when the Titans kill White Lighters and attack Elderland but the storyline and why they attack is different being that the Elders cloaked Mount Olympus which the Titans want to find and reclaim hence why they kill White Lighters to then murder Elders and gain that information naturally.
Chris orbs in and helps unstone Paige and says the sisters need to become goddesses to defeat the Titans so the Elders give Leo the location of Mount Olympus and the sisters say a P03 spell in taking Demeter, Athena, and Artemis's spirits.
The Charmed Ones battle the Titans on Olympus and then Leo leaves for Elderland making Chris the girl's White Lighter beforehand.
Leo's not transported to Valhalla so that plot doesn't happen but he does come back to help with Piper's pain when the spell he cast goes wrong and gets mixed up with Paige's memory spell also.
In season 6's premiere, Chris's future is slightly introduced as well as the scene where he and Bianca are in the attic before Chris travels back.
The scene plays out a little differently in that Bianca's not named so people wonder who she is and she explains to Chris that although he has issues with someone who too isn't named he must remember their past self is different and so not be mad at them when they meet.
Bianca gives Chris a potion that will block any visions Phoebe gets on him but warns him to be careful of the other thing too which turns out to be Phoebe's new power of Empathy.
The ingredient to make a potion to block that is the past obviously.
She reminds Chris not to say anything about the future in case that's changed even worse than it currently is. Chris says he can't lie but Bianca comments that he must, unfortunately.
The woman draws the triquetra on the wall and says the time travel spell hiding Chris's real identity which people don't find out till later on.
Phoebe starts having a reoccurring dystopian dream which she wants to investigate but Chris tries to deter that.
All is found out in "Chris Crossed" which is a 2 part episode that has the sisters and Leo travelling to the future to find out adult Wyatt's evil and there's a resistance trying to overthrow him in the second part.
Chris explains why nothing about the future or the fact he is half witch also hadn't already been said in case of future consequences which Leo understands.
Piper becomes obsessed with who turns her son and looks for anything related to that.
Gideon and Magic School are introduced with Phoebe's vision quest being about discovering Chris's relation to her, Piper, Leo, and Paige and not her being pregnant at some point in the future then.
How the others find out about Chris happens the same way as they originally did.
Gideon speaks his concerns about Wyatt to Piper and Leo before outright trying to kill him and Chris doesn't die but merges with his future self instead.

How about Abbey the bartender, who wanted to be Prue.
I can see a Demon showing up and offering to make Abbey become Prue, provided a few conditions were met. Of course, Abbey would go along with it and the Charmed Ones would have to step in and save her.

With Abbey, I'd have had her in more episodes than she originally was with hints throughout that someone might be stalking Prue as that just came out of left field itself.
The person would take a few items of Prue's like perfume, some makeup, or a glass she'd drunk out of at P3 plus take photos and write diary entries too.
Prue would report her concern to the police but they say there's nothing much that could be done without evidence naturally.
Perhaps this could coincide with Tim's idea of a demon offering Abbey the opportunity to be Prue with the caveat conditions she'd have to meet or else she'd lose her soul.
Stalker's identity isn't revealed until the end of " All Halliwell's Eve" with the next episode being the one where the sisters save Abbey vanquish the demon and have her locked up.
Phoebe doesn't know about Abbey via a premonition beforehand because she's too wrapped up in Cole who clouds her judgment.
Whether the sisters erase Abbey's memory of her knowing their witches or her deal with the demon so she doesn't blab to anyone or they leave that thinking no one will believe her would be up to what people want overall.

Abbey would have been the perfect pawn for evil to use. Someone with emotional issues, who was very vulnerable.
And she would have no clue as to what she was getting herself into.
