Yay, they managed to save Harry. Of course, that wasn't before his memories from his human lifetime were brought back to him. Seems that Harry was up to some criminal acts when he was human, but he was only trying to save his sick son. At the end, we learn that said son is still living. Will Harry try to find him. That son would now be older than Harry is!
Liked the scene in which Harry and Charity kiss.
And speaking of kisses, how about Mel and Jada? Looks like there is something happening between the two of them. And look, Niko's back, and watching them. How? Niko shouldn't have any memories of Mel.
Boy, Galvin is taking this whole witch thing surprisingly well. He even helps Mel break into neo-Hannah's office.
Oh, Maggie, masking your pain will not make it go away. You almost got yourself lost forever because of it.
At least Maggie is not making the same mistake that Phoebe did. Whenever Parker comes slinking around, she tells him to get lost.
And the sisters did come together at the end, and sent neo-Rex packing. No doubt he'll be back.
So, Mel and Maggie have the same father!? What???

Intense episode. Surprise, Mel is the half-sister! I wonder who their fathers are? Given that the show dropped the bomb about Harry's son still being alive around the same time, I'm getting the feeling that he's probably going to end up being one of the fathers (or grandfathers, depending on his age). Likely Mel's since Macy and Maggie's father has to be black. Am I the only one who's starting to warm up to Galvin a little more now that he knows the sisters' secret? He still showed some jerkitude in this episode over Macy's virginity, but otherwise, he was the friendliest and most helpful he's been yet in this episode. We'll see how he goes from here on out. They're totally going to do a Jada/Mel/Niko love triangle, I can just sense it. Loved seeing the Elders get called out on their bullshit. That's something that didn't happen nearly enough on the old show.

This was a good episode.
I wonder if the pain removal spell Maggie cast was a homage to the fearless one Piper cast in original Charmed?
Glad Charity and the Elders were called out for what they are which original Charmed didn't do though am slightly concerned what the Sarcana might do if they extinguished the Elders of course.
Concerning them, I like where the stories going and Jada as a character obviously though couldn't understand why Niko was back taking pictures of Mel and Jada when Mel wiped her memories.
And we got Harry's backstory early then which made me think of him like Scott Lang the second Antman and Flint Marko the Sandman both criminals who stole only to help their children which I did feel sorry about going through the episode.
I appreciate how he cares for the sisters and helped Maggie in Tartarus like a brother they don't have which I can see would affect him if anything happened to them.
Nice to see his son's alive whom I hope he'll be able to find which the show might delve into perhaps.

Yeah, I felt the same way. He just jumped right in, willing to help.
But how? Niko should have no memories of Mel. Did something go wrong with the spell?
Me too. I wonder if some of these Elders have become corrupt, and Marisol found out who said corrupt Elders were, and that's why she was killed.
Maggie cast a spell for personal gain, and paid a price for it. Another Take That to the policy of the original series, where the sisters cast spells for personal gain anytime they jolly well pleased!
As I said, that son would now be older than he is. Awkward!

Okay, did the writers suddenly change their minds on having all three sisters having different fathers? I can't help but feel they haven't got a real planned arc for these fathers. They keep changing their minds. I hope they have and didn't just make Mel the half-sister now just for the shock. Yay- Niko is back. I'm guessing she is after Jada. Galvin was useful, but still, I only see a friend/worker chemistry, and nothing romantic. But at least he can be an ally. Well, Harry was saved so quickly. And he and Charity are close, I feel like Charity could be marked for death at some point. I don't know why. Did Charity say she could lose her Elder status or something? I wonder how Elders become an Elder? Judging by the promos, it looks like the next episode is going to slow down. Alastair is such a great villain and looks like Nu-Rex has gotten away, where Rex and Hannah were dead by this point. So we got to see his demonic face too. Parker and Maggie are still boring. The only relationship so far that is good is Mel/Jada, and now we are set or a love triangle with Niko I'm sure.

Fate's way of nudging her back in Mel's direction?
Someone Macy can work with, when dealing with the science stuff.
That's a good question.
Of course, he'll be back.
They were? That was left open to interpretation, which I took full advantage of
Can we just get rid of this guy already?? Fandom has pretty much spoken, and they DON'T like him.

I wonder about Harry's son being alive. How crazy if his son turns out to be one of the sister's father?

I finally figured out Parker. He has bad chemistry with Maggie (knew that), but also the way he is written and the actor is playing him off as a really nice guy with not the bad guy side that Julian mastered so well. When Maggie tells Parker to stay away, he just goes okay and doesn't stand up for himself.
He is not convincing at all as a half-demon, he comes across way too human and a nice guy (with zero charisma and bad boy vibes). That unlike Cole, I'd find it believable if he was to turn fully human. He certainly has no demonic side to him.
The actor would be perfect as a mortal boyfriend, but not as someone who is a half demon/human. They are not writing him well, and hope they write him off.

I agree. This guy is no Julian McMahon, and never will be. He's a plank of wood, and I want him gone too.

All of this. *nods* However, to be fair, that could be the point. Even though the CW's marketing tried to sell Parker as a "mysterious bad boy" and "new Cole," in reality, he's a frail, sickly kid who rejects his demon heritage and wants to make things right before his inevitable death. Hopefully, he gets his heroic sacrifice at the end of the season, and we can all move on.

That makes the most logical sense. His story has a beginning, a middle, and an ending. When his story is over, we move on to other things.

Yup. That is how I wished they had Cole's arc with him sacrificing himself to save Phoebe in All Hell Breaks Loose. I think for S2 they can shift to something else. Let Maggie focus on her studies and possibly learn more about her father through Macy. Maybe it learns out he is alive. I'm certain not all the fathers are dead. One is bound to show up end of S1 or in S2 on their doorstep.

I personally, don't want too many characters with powers on this series. We have Harry he is enough, I don't want Parker on the show longterm.
