Not the answer we were all were hoping for. But, at least she was kind enough to provide a link to her FF.net account, that will make it easier for you, Tim & Betty to see it. And for us to read, review and contact her with questions. Looks like the Cafe, their rewatches (wish I could see that board, they have nearly 5 thousand posts, looks very active), novel reviewing, fanfic projects, Elemental Charmed, and her writing and FF.net is enough on her plate to keep her busy for now. Maybe she'll decide to join us later on, I hope so. The invitation is still open to her.

Of course, you need an account with FF.net to contact her via that site. Fortunately, I have one.

That's right. I can post a review but without an account that's all you can do without an account.
Been following it. She posted Chapter 2 recently.

In the latest chapter, the ghost of Melinda Warren shows up. Phoebe sees a red welt around Melinda's neck, a rope burn.
Summer went and corrected a mistake the show made. As a convicted witch in Colonial Salem, Melinda Warren would have been hanged, not burned.

That was really fantastic to see Melinda show up. I like that she is fixing some mistakes they made.
I also liked that she had all the sisters reading the spell in the book and not just Phoebe. Granted Grams dying words was to go to the attic. But it was a nice change.

Summer actually adapted the scene, involving Melinda's ghost, from the Charmed novel, The Power Of Three (which was the novelization of the pilot episode). The following comes from my own review of that book:
Since the novel followed the show, and the Critical Research Failure they made in regard to what happened to witches in Salem, Melinda appeared all charred and burned.
However, since Summer has fixed that mistake, in her adaptation, Melinda's ghost shows up with a rope burn around her neck, showing that she'd been hanged, like accused witches in Salem were.
A lot of the reviewers have praised Summer for fixing this (and I'm one of those reviewers, BTW).

Granted Grams dying words was to go to the attic. But it was a nice change. I really liked the way Grams died, much better than 'Pre-Witched' of a heart attack down the stairs. Here she died telling them and directed them to the book and I loved seeing all three read the spell together, too Katie. It is great, that Summer managed to fit so many things to make this more accurate. I love that Melinda has a decent role already. I can only imagine how much fun she'll have with 'The Witch is Back' if she rewrites it.
I gather this is an idea Connie may have had in one of her first drafts but was cut because the idea of seeing Melinda appearing burnt was too scary for television. So glad, Summer wrote it the way she did.
I'm looking forward to the next episode. I read that she plans to post this up sometime in the next few days.

She's added a new chapter.
I have it set up that, when a new chapter is added, I get an e-mail notification. Of course, you need a FF.net account for this.

Yup. She has posted more. Story progressing well.
Love that she made it a two part story than one episode. Really the extended run gives new life to the story and the changes and additions are great.

Gives her time to expand on scenes that the episode couldn't. Summer has more than one hour to tell her story.

That's right, she has more freedom. I'm looking forward to what she does next.

A new chapter has been posted.
It has a twist I didn't see coming (not going to spoil it, you're just gonna have to read it yourself).
