All the Elders have been wiped out. What a shame After what they did to Harry, I ain't sorry. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
In all seriousness, they were really handed the Idiot Ball in this case. I mean everyone knew that the Elders were the next likely targets after the Sarcana. You would think that the Elders would have scattered to the four corners of the Earth, making it harder to find them, and thus buying the Vera sisters and Harry more time. Instead, they all gather in one place, making it easier for them to be targeted, which is exactly what happened. Duhhhhhhh....
Wow, was dark Macy scary. It took her throwing Mel across the room (and Mel and Maggie being afraid of her) to snap her out of it. And she did destroy that pin.
Once again they included Marisol without resorting to using her ghost. Loved that scene in that hidden room with her hologram (what else can I call it).
Some of us were right when they said Lucy was not working for Neo-Rex of her own free will. She is under some kind post hypnotic control. Of course, there were clues, of how her face went blank whenever he contacted her. The Vera sisters now know about this, and will no doubt try to remove Neo-Rex's spell on her.
Loved the scene where Maggie sees Mel and Niko making out. She does an about face, the then stomps her feet, letting them know she's coming.
Mel tells Niko about what she did to her, and it went pretty much as I thought it would. Niko gets mad and storms out. I can't blame Niko for getting mad, as she herself said, Mel really had no right to change her timeline like that. Mel did try to justify it by saying she was saving her, but Niko ain't buying it. Mel crossed a line in doing this. As I said, it was nice to see the consequences of this decision play out.
The ending. WTF??
Hey, no Parker or Galvin this week!

I liked this episode, I think my favorite part was when Macy realized she was scaring her sisters and broke the needle of her own accord to preserve the sisterhood, loved that. In this version of the show the sisters are more important than the magic.
One thing I am a little confused on is how Hunter became so powerful. He easily wiped out all the elders like they were nothing, what could he have possibly learnt in Tartarus to make him that much stronger? Seems weird to me.
And Charity is on the run and presumably going to have to get help from the sisters, oh the irony, though I am a bit puzzled, weren't her powers removed? How does she even still count as an elder?
I'm not sure I'm a fan of Mel and Maggie now having magical weapons, that seems kind of odd and not very Charmed-like, but as long as they don't get overused I can live with it.
All the elders are gone and we aren't even at the end of the first season, ruthless. Though they did seem pretty useless, and Charity showed a large display of power before when battling the sisters and Marisol, presumably she was at the same power level as the others yet none of the others could even hold Hunter off.

Yeah, that was a good scene. Macy was literally drunk with power, but, when she sees that she might have hurt one of her sisters, it snaps her out of it.
Something the original series lost by the end.
And the sisters probably would protect her (much as they wouldn't want to). However, they will probably make it a condition that Charity turns herself in once the crisis is over.
As I said, good riddance to bad rubbish.
I wonder if this was a Take That to the concept of the Elders overall. Everyone knows that fans of Charmed hate the Elders.

Seriously all killed in S1. WTF? This show really may end after S2. They wiped them all out even before S1 ends. Talk about moving fast.
We all know Charity is going to die in the finale, and the Source will awaken.
Have to be honest, where on earth are they planning to take this series. I'm being serious. If they plan to really start a reboot of sorts with new original stories. I just don't know what they are doing.
I mean wiping out the Elders would be something for another season. I didn't care for these Elders, but still, why kill them all in S1. LOL, like what the Charmed Ones make up the new Elders council. Maybe we'll get a new council of Elders soon, with Harry being a new leader with some role, perhaps?
Also, why are the sisters getting new power upgrades every episode.
S1 of this reboot feels like Classic Charmed Season 4 and 5 to me.
So glad we're getting new showrunners and these old ones are getting their marching orders.
But, the mother being used as a hologram was a nice touch, and again they are letting her help her daughters without actually appearing as a ghost.
I'm very nervous for S2, and wonder if they are burning off plots similar to Classic Charmed, so they can expand and focus on other Witch cultures and history for future seasons. I just am not impressed with what they are doing in S1.

Maybe that's why they made the Elders a bunch of dicks, so we won't feel bad to see them wiped out. Well, if that was the plan, it worked. In fact, I cheered.
We've only had one ghost so far in this show.
This might be why we're getting a regime change for S2. With the advent of Social Media, the creators are connected to the fans. They can see what the fans like, and what they hate.

I like the theory that the reason they are burning through lots of the stories original Charmed already told is so they can get it out the way with and then take the show in new places the original never explored. That's my hope anyway.
