It looks like this year's crossover will be a full house with every Arrowverse show starring in it which will be good to see.

If it's anything like the original comic story, then yes, this is what will happen.
The comic COIE almost had every DC character in it.

I wonder if they will tease more at Comic-Con this year, Of course, they will right.
Also, I read that the big event plays out in all the show this season at the start of the season, not just starting the plot when it is crossover time, with teases and plots for the first several episodes of all the show.
I think that is a smart idea, a storyline this big, to just start this plot when it is crossover time makes no sense, better to build it up to the event.

For more than a year before the comic COIE started, DC started dropping hint that something big was coming. The Monitor started making appearances in all their major books, watching and waiting.
Of course, we didn't know what was going on with this guy, he was just there.
I wonder if the Arrowverse will do something similar.

Some crisis news. Lois Lane again will appear in the crossover this year as will Tyler Hoechlin as Superman BUT the biggest news out there is that Brandon Routh won't just play The Atom in Legends but also the Man Of Steel himself which he donned in 2006's Superman Returns who will be from a different earth of course which Brandon thought he'd never do again but is thrilled none the less seeing how producers and people liked his portrayal as Clark then apparently and some of the similarities linking him and Christopher Reeve.
Tyler's excited to work with Brandon too and what the two Clark's will think of one another also.

So they'll be tying Superman Returns into the Arrowverse. Well, they did tie in the 1990 Flash show.
Two Supermen for the price of one.

Looks like they are pulling all the stops with this. Wondering if they'll bring Lynda Carter in as Wonder Woman?

That would be cool yes but if she didn't Linda could play Wonder Woman's mother Hippolyta then.

Yeah, she could.
She's too old to play Wonder Woman now (it's been 40 years since her WW show was on).

Here's everything known so far about this years crossover then.
SPOILERS BE-WARNED.
Every Arrowverse character from past team ups will appear evidently.
Black Lightning and Smallville when episodes air will be considered canon in this universe as mentioned by Greg Berlanti.
The crossover will explain what's happened in the Smallville universe in the 8 years since it's end.
All Superman's and Lois Lane's will meet their doppelgangers and interact with them. They will be from different time periods.
Barry will interact with Tyler and Brandon's Superman's as well as Black Lightening.
Black Lightening will pilot the Waverider a short time.
Some other characters from that show will feature in Crisis also. Perhaps his family.
Routh's Superman will be the Kingdom Come Superman introduced after Crisis originally in the comics with his suit having the black and red S emblem instead of the yellow/red one Tyler Hoechlin and maybe Tom Welling will sport then.
He will play both Superman and the Atom respectively.
Original Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy from the animated series will play the older version of Bruce Wayne most likely the Batman Beyond version with no hints whether Terry MC Guinness the new Batman then will feature also maybe.
Burt Ward the original Robin from the Batman 60's series will play an as of yet undisclosed role somewhere.
Lyla Michael's will suit up as the Harbinger a key role in the original Crisis comics as well as being the Monitors daughter raised by him to prevent the coming event something she's kept from the Arrowverse guys and her husband John Diggle ultimately.
Jon Cryer will reprise his role as Lex Luthor but Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum won't appear with Tom and Erica from that show.
Tom Cavanagh will play the titular role called Pariah who is the one that releases the Anti Monitor onto the multiverse originally.
Supernatural alum Osric Chau will reoccur as Ryan Choi a scientist who has a pivotal role in the crossover event and is known by comic book fans as the third Atom who took over from Ray Palmer subsequently which may coincide with Brandon and Courtney leaving Legends this season obviously with Osric replacing him on the team.
Jonah Hex will reappear with Ashley Scott from the short lived 02's Birds Of Prey series reprising her role as the Huntress from there.
And everything but five earth's will be destroyed with the remaining becoming one then being Earth One, Earth 38, Earth 2, and maybe Earth Prime perhaps.

Ashley Scott from the short-lived 02's Birds Of Prey is appearing. WOW!
I wonder if Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain are going to appear as Lois and Clark. Both had been on Supergirl before.
