After many years of fighting evil, the time came for the Charmed Ones to retire and hand the reins over to the Charmed Son, Wyatt and Chris Halliwell. Piper Halliwell and her husband, Leo Wyatt, moved out of Halliwell Manor and turned it over to their now grown sons.
In time, Chris met and fell in love with Bianca, a Phoenix Witch. She moved in with the two brothers and she and Chris eventually married,
It is now the year 2027...
"Bianca, are you okay?" Chris asked his wife one morning, at breakfast. "You've been pretty under the weather lately." "I'm fine," Bianca replied. "I think I might have caught a virus, or something like that." "I don't think so," Chris said. "I'm gonna take you to the doctor." "But..." "I insist," Chris said At that point, Wyatt came into the kitchen. "What's going on?" he asked. "Bianca's sick. I'm taking her to the doctor," Chris said. "Under protest," Bianca said. A couple of hours later, at the doctor's office, Chris and Bianca were waiting for the test results to come back. "It's nothing," Bianca continued to insist. "Still, it's better to be safe than sorry," Chris insisted. At that point, Doctor Alan Bist, came into the room. "I have the results," he said. "And?" Chris asked. "Congratulations, you two! You're going to be parents!" Chris and Bianca were too stunned to reply. Across town...
Joe McKenna nodded in approval at the one bedroom apartment he had just moved into. It would suit as a perfect base of operations for the duration of his stay in 2027. Granted it was nowhere near as big as his penthouse suite on Titan, but he had to work with what he had. Walking over to the window, he looked out at the San Francisco skyline. This whole regions had been destroyed during Earth's war with the Styrollian Imperium in the 29th Century, so Joe only had second hand knowledge of what the city actually looked like at this time. Enough musing, time to get to work, he thought. Pulling out his Navicomp, he said: "Confirm arrival in correct time period." "Confirmed," the Navicomp replied. "Current year is 2027 A.D." "Excellent," Joe said. "Time to get started." Back at the Manor... "Well, what's the news?" Wyatt asked, once Chris and Bianca has returned home. "I'm pregnant," Bianca replied. "What?" Wyatt asked. "I'm pregnant," Bianca repeated. "It's true, the Dr. Bist just confirmed it," Chris added. "Well, why are we just standing around here for?" Wyatt asked. "We should be celebrating." He took out his IPhone. "Who are you calling?" Chris asked. "Mom and dad," Wyatt replied. "And then Aunts Phoebe and Paige. I mean they deserve to hear the good news as well." "Yeah, they should," Chris said. "This is big news for the whole family." "If you two don't mind, I'm going to lie down for a while," Bianca said. "This has taken a lot out of me." "Are you okay?" Chris asked his wife. "Relax, I'm fine," Bianca said. "You two spread the good news to the rest of the family. I'll be down later for the celebrations." Across town...
"Damn, it's not here!" Joe exclaimed as he switched off his Navicomp. As he had feared, many of the records of this time period had been lost in the war, so he couldn't get a complete census of who was living in San Francisco at this particular point in time. Looks like I'm going to have to do it the old fashioned way, he thought as he headed out of the apartment, towards the elevator. As he stood waiting for the elevator to arrive, he wondered at how the people of this time managed to cope with a system of transport that was so slow. In the 40th Century, one could teleport from Earth to Titan in a matter of seconds. I could teach these primitives a thing or two, if it were permitted, he thought to himself. The sun had just come out from behind a cloud, when Joe reached the street. Slowly, he turned east and made his way to the nearest branch of the San Francisco Public Library. With any luck, he might find a clue there that would lead him towards his goal. "If you need any help, sir, please ask," the librarian said. "I will, thanks," Joe replied as he turned to the computer and began to surf the Internet. Primitive, but it will serve my needs, he thought as he began seeking out information. He started with the latest census records and worked from there. Now, if I'm right, the information should be here. Soon he was looking at the latest Google photo of Halliwell Manor. There you are! Joe thought triumphantly.

A few hours later, Chris went up to check on Bianca. After checking the bedroom, and seeing it empty, he found her in the bathroom. "Bianca, are you okay?" he asked. "I'm fine, it's just morning sickness," Bianca replied as she grabbed a washcloth and wiped her face with it.
At the same time, Chris took a cup, filled it with water, and handed it to Bianca. "Here, drink this." "Thanks," Bianca said and drank the water. "Has the family arrived yet?" "No, not yet. You want me to cancel the celebration?" "No, I should be ready after a little more sleep," Bianca said as she headed back to the bedroom. Soon, she was fast asleep. "How is she?" Wyatt asked as he arrived on the scene. "She's fine, she just needs more sleep," Chris replied. "She wants us to go ahead withe celebration." "That's good to know," Wyatt said.
Outside the Manor...
If there was one thing that Joe would never adjust to, in this time, it was using an automobile. He had studied them, before coming to this time, but this was the first time he was actually using one. I don't understand the appeal of these things, he thought to himself. They pollute the air, they're noisy, and they take forever to get where they're going. And don't these people realize that they are depleting Earth's fossil fuel sources. Guess not. Still the car, which he had just rented, had gotten Joe to where he needed to be, parked across the street from Halliwell Manor. I believe they called this a stakeout, he thought as he put the set of binoculars to his eyes and began to monitor the Manor. An hour later, Joe saw some cars pull up to the Manor and a group of people get out of them. Ah, the rest of the family, he thought and continued his surveillance.
Inside the Manor...
"Where is our daughter-in-law?" Piper asked.
"She's sleeping right now, Mom," Chris replied. "However, she should be waking up before long."
"I'm heading into the kitchen to make some food. Wanna help me?"
"Sure, Mom," Chris said. "Bianca loves your cooking." About half an hour later, Bianca came down and saw the family. "You're here." "Of course we are," Paige said. "We're here to celebrate the happy occasion." "I can see that," Bianca said as she noticed the food on the table. "Piper, you really shouldn't have." "Nonsense, this a happy occasion," Piper replied. They all sat down at the table. "So, have you thought about names yet?" Phoebe asked. "Phoebe, I just found out!" Bianca said. "Give me some time." "Whoops, I got a little carried away," Phoebe said, smiling. "I wonder if it will be a boy or a girl," Paige said. "Well, we have plenty of time to find out," Bianca said. Outside the Manor...
Damn, I wish I knew what was going on in there, Joe thought to himself. He considered going up and knocking on the door, but remember his orders. No direct contact, unless absolutely necessary. And it's not necessary, not yet at least.
Inside the Manor...
Sometime, later, everyone had finished eating and were sitting in the sun room, talking. "Thanks for coming," Bianca said. "I really appreciate it."
"Hey, no problem," Piper replied. "Anything for the mother of my first grandchild."
"Still, I..." Bianca began and then yawned.
"You okay?" Chris asked.
"I'm fine," Bianca replied. "However, I am a little tired. If you all don't mind, I'm going upstairs to lie down."
"Of course, we don't mind," Piper said.
"We've all been through it ourselves," Phoebe added.
"See you all later then," Bianca said and excused herself.
Soon after, Wyatt and Chris were standing on the front porch and watched as their guest departed. "That went well," Wyatt said. "Yeah, it did," Chris replied. "Bianca and I...." he stopped and looked across the street. "What is it, Chris?" Wyatt asked. "That car," Chris replied and pointed to the car in question. "It's been there all day, and it looks like someone is in it, watching us with binoculars." "What?" Wyatt said and looked to where Chris was looking. "You're right, bro. Someone is watching us. Why don't we go over and introduce ourselves to our uninvited guest." The two brothers started towards the car. Red alert! Time to bail! Joe thought with panic as he saw the approaching Charmed Sons. He quickly started the car, gunned the engine and tore off down the street.
"What the hell is going on here?" Chris asked as he and Wyatt watched the car disappear into the distance. "Who was that guy and why was he watching our house?" "I don't know," Wyatt said. "Until we do know, I suggest we keep our guard up." A little while later, Wyatt and Chris were in the sun room, drinking beer discussing what they had seen earlier. "Well, I just checked the Book. Nothing helpful there," Chris said. "Well, I don't think it was a demon," Wyatt said. "Since when do demons drive cars and use binoculars?"
"So we're dealing with a human?" Chris asked. "Seems so," Wyatt said.
"But how would any human know who we are? I doubt anyone we know would be doing this." "Your guess is as good as mine," Wyatt said. "You gonna tell Bianca about this?" "No, not yet," Chris said, shaking his head. "She's got enough on her mind right now." "Good idea," Wyatt replied. "You keep an eye on your wife, and I'll keep an eye out in case our mysterious friend shows up again." Across town... Damn, that was too close, Joe thought, once he was back in his apartment. They almost saw me. I can't be that careless again. Too much is at stake here!

A few hours later, Wyatt and Chris were meeting with the Charmed Ones, at the Manor. "So, that's all we know," Wyatt said. "So some guy is stalking you?" Piper asked.
"Yeah, and we don't know who he is," Chris said. "We spotted him parked outside the house, and notice that he'd been there for hours." "You think it would be demon related?" Paige asked. "We don't know," Wyatt said. "However, demons don't usually drive cars." "So he's human then," Phoebe said. "Yeah, that's what we're assuming as well," Chris said. "Have you told Bianca about this?" Piper asked. "No, and I'm not going to, not yet at least," replied Chris. "I don't want to freak her out." "Well, we will help as much as we can," Phoebe said. "Although he's retired now, Daryl still has contacts in the police. I'll ask him to get in touch with them, and see what they can come up with." "Thanks, everyone," Chris said. Across town... Joe was making a transmission back to the 40th Century. "Although I was spotted, I think I got away before they could get a good look at me. Mission continues as before...." The Manor, a few days later...
Wyatt was talking to Daryl on the phone. "Do you have anything on the guy we saw?" Wyatt asked. "Sorry, not yet," Daryl replied. "I made a few phone calls, but there are no known criminals with the description you gave. If you had gotten the number of the license plate, that might have helped." "Sorry, but if we see him again, we'll try." Soon after, Wyatt was talking to Chris. "Sorry, but Daryl has no leads." "Damn," Chris said. "You know, Wyatt, I was thinking..." "Yeah?" "What if this guy is connected to Bianca's child somehow," Chris said. "How?" Wyatt asked. "I'm not sure yet," Chris replied.

Several weeks later...
Chris and Bianca returned home from the hospital to be greeted by Wyatt. "Well?" Wyatt asked.
"We're having a boy!" Bianca said with delight.
"Hey, congrats to both of you," Wyatt said, grinning.
At that point, Bianca yawned.
"Are you okay?" Chris asked.
"I'm fine, just tired," Bianca said. "I'm going up to lay down." With that, she headed up the stairs.
I'll go up and check on her in a few moments, Chris thought.
Across town...
Just as the records said, they are expecting a boy, Joe thought. He had secretly followed them to the hospital and was able to obtain the information in question. Now that the sex of the baby in question is confirmed, I'm going to have to be every more vigilant for the rest of this assignment.
The Manor, a few hours later...
Chris went up to check on Bianca, and saw that she was sound asleep. He started to yawn himself as he had been up since four in the morning, tending to his wife. Bianca had been up suffering through bad bout of morning sickness. She's better now, Chris though as he decided to lay down next to Bianca. Soon, he was asleep himself.

Months later...
Bianca woke up with bad pain in her stomach and back. "Oh God, that hurts!" "What is it?" Chris asked as he rushed to his wife's side. "I think I'm in labour," Bianca replied. "What? You're not due for a couple of weeks." "The baby has other ideas, it seems," Bianca replied. "What's going on?" Wyatt asked as he entered the room. "Bianca's in labour," Chris said. "We're gonna have to get her to the hospital now." Soon, after, at the hospital, Bianca was soon rushed into the maternity ward, as Chris and Wyatt looked on. Outside the hospital, Joe was parked in his car, watching. Right on time, he thought. A few hours later, Chris was by Bianca' side, after she had given birth to their son. Wyatt came in and saw them. "Congratulations, you two. Have you picked a name yet?" "We're still deciding on that," Chris replied. "I have some suggestions," Wyatt said. "Thank, bro, but we'd rather wait for now." "Well, I'll go get some coffee then," Wyatt said and headed out to do so. At that time, Joe was making his way into the hospital. Gotta see for myself, he thought. Wyatt was nearly at the coffee machine, when he spotted Joe. It's that guy again! Wyatt thought. "Hey, you!" Wyatt called out. Damn! Joe thought as he turned and ran. "Stop!" Wyatt said as he gave chase. He soon made it outside, but Joe was nowhere to be seen. Where'd he go? Wyatt wondered. What Wyatt didn't know was that Joe was nearby, hidden with a personal cloaking device. Once again, a close call, he thought.
Damn, I lost him! Wyatt thought as he turned and headed back to the room where Chris and Bianca were.
"What happened?" Bianca asked, when Wyatt reentered the room.
"Uh, nothing," Wyatt replied, not wanting to scare Bianca at this time.
"We've decided on a name," Chris said.
"And?"
"How does "Sawyer" sound to you?" Chris asked.
"Sounds good to me," Wyatt said.
Yeah, sounds good to me too, Joe thought, as he stood outside the door, listening in.

Some time later, Chris had fallen asleep, but Bianca was awake and feeding Sawyer. "How's the baby?" Wyatt asked.
"He's doing great," Bianca replied. "Wyatt, are you okay? You look distracted."
"Uh, I'm fine," Wyatt replied. Actually, there seems to be some guy stalking us, and has been for months. And I still have no idea why, he thought.
At that point, Chris woke up. "What's going on?" he asked.
"Chris, can I talk to you outside for a sec?" Wyatt asked.
"Uh sure," Chris replied. The two brothers headed out into the hall. "What is it?"
"That guy, the one who's been following us, was here," Wyatt said. "I saw him and gave chase, but I lost him."
"Who is he? What does he want?" Chris asked. "I mean if he's a demon, he's taking his sweet time with whatever scheme he's cooking up."
"I don't know, however, we should keep our eyes open."
"Should we tell Bianca?" Chris asked.
'No, not yet," Wyatt said, shaking his head. "She doesn't need this kind of worry right now."
Still cloaked, Joe was listening in. Damn, I was hoping that they wouldn't have seen me. However, I have to work with what I have. This mission is too important to mess up.
A few days later, Bianca and Sawyer came home. "How are things?" Chris asked Wyatt, once Bianca has taken Sawyer upstairs.
"All quiet. No sign of mysterious friend," Wyatt replied.
"Still, we shouldn't let our guard down."
"What are you two talking about?" Bianca asked.
"Uh, nothing," Wyatt said. "Just normal stuff."
"Yeah!" Chris added.
What is going on here? Bianca thought.
Some time later, Bianca came into the living room and saw Chris holding Sawyer. She just stood there for a moment, watching.
"Oh, Bianca, I didn't see you there," Chris said.
"That''s okay," Bianca replied. "I was just watching the two of you bonding."
"I know," Chris said. "Part of me still can't believe this is happening. I'm a father."
"And you're going to be a great one," Bianca said.
At that point, Sawyer began to cry. "I got this," Chris said as he headed for the kitchen to get the baby bottle.
We going to be fine, Bianca thought.
A little while later Bianca decided to take a shower. "Will you be okay with him until I get back?"
"Yeah, we'll be fine," Chris replied.
When Bianca came out of the bathroom, about half-an-hour later, she noticed both father and son asleep on the bed. This is good at least he is finally sleeping, she thought. She gently brushed hair from his face and watched them sleep.
"Is everything okay?" Wyatt as he came into the room.
"Everything is fine," Bianca replied and then put as finger to her mouth as she indicated the sleeping Chris and Sawyer.

Some time later, Chris and Sawyer were still sleeping, when a mysterious figure materialized and moved towards them. "I have you now," the figure said and raised what appeared to be a weapon of some kind.
At that point, Wyatt walked in and saw what was happening. "Hey, you!" Wyatt said.
"What!?" the figure said.
"Get the hell away from my family!" Wyatt said and raised his hands. However, before he could do anything, the figure disappeared.
"What? What's happening?" Chris asked as he woke up.
"Well..." Wyatt replied and went on to tell Chris what had just happened.
"Our mysterious friend again?" Chris asked.
"No," Wyatt said, shaking his head. "It was a different guy."
"What!?" Chris said. "You mean there are two of them!?"
"So it would seem."
Across town...
The beeping of the computer brought Joe to the console. So, the enemy has finally made his move, he thought.
Back at the Manor...
"I don't get it," Chris said. "Why are there mysterious strangers coming after us?" "I don't know," Wyatt replied. "However, I think that Sawyer is connected. It can't be a coincidence that these guys starting showing up when Bianca got pregnant." "But who are they? Demons?" "I don't think so," Wyatt replied. "I mean they don't seem to be showing any interest in acquiring powers and such. No, there is more going on here than we know." "Well, we better find out fast. I don't want to spend Sawyer's childhood always on the lookout." "Amen to that, brother," Wyatt said.
"I think I can answer your questions," Joe said as her materialized on the scene. "You!" Chris said. "You and your friend have been stalking us for months now. What do you want?" "First of all, he's not my friend, in fact, he's the reason I'm here," Joe said. "My name is Joe McKenna, and I'm a member of the Temporal Science Police."
"Never heard of them," Wyatt said. "That's because they don't exist yet. I come from the 40th Century," Joe replied. "And why are you here?" Chris asked. "Because of the being I'm after. He's a Styrollian." "A what!?" "Let me explain," Joe said. "In the 29th Century, Earth found itself at war with the Styrollian Imperium. They were a warlike race that reveled in conquest. After a long, and bloody war, Earth won. We dismantled the Styrollian military machine, liberated the worlds they had annexed, and put their tyrannical rulers on trial. Since then, they've been a peaceful race. Well, most of them have." "But not all," Wyatt said. "No, there are still factions that want a return to the good old days of military conquest and glory. A member of one of those factions has come to this time to do just that." "I don't understand. How does Sawyer fit into all that?" Chris asked. "I thought it would be obvious, Chris." Joe replied. "You see, the person that will lead Earth to final victory is Gary Sawyer Halliwell, a direct descendant of your son, Sawyer."
"You mean..." "Yes, he plans to kill your son," Joe said. "Unless we can stop him."

Chris looked down at his coughing son with worry. What's wrong with him? he thought. "Still, no change?" Wyatt asked. "No, and I'm getting worried. I think we should take him to the hospital." "It won't do any good," Joe said as he appeared on the scene. "Why not?" Chris asked. "Because I recognize that illness, it's a fever native to the planet Bandragenus V. There is no cure for it here on Earth." "But that means..." Chris began. "Yes, our enemy has struck," Joe said grimly. "However, there is a cure for it. However, I will have to go to Bandragenus V to get it. It might take me a few days." "But what can we do in the meantime?" Chris asked. "Keep him hydrated as much as possible. That will slow down the infection. I'll be back with the cure when I can." With those words, Joe vanished. "Well, we better get started," Chris said and quickly headed for the kitchen. A little later, Wyatt had given Chris a mini-oxygen mask for Sawyer. "How's he doing?" Wyatt asked. "Getting worse," Chris said. "I hope Garth finds that cure in time." "Relax, he will," Wyatt said in reassuring voice. Soon enough, after having the oxygen mask places on him, Sawyer fell asleep and seemed to be breathing easier. Well, it's a start, Chris thought. Later, Chris was looking through the Book Of Shadows, when Wyatt came in. "Can I help?" Wyatt asked. "Nah!" Chris replied as he closed the Book. ""Not much help here." "Well, the Book is about magical beings. Aliens from the future are a bit out of its league." "Still, there should be something here to help," Chris said as he flicked the pages with his fingers. "Something!"
"Well, maybe we can whip up something of our own," Wyatt suggested. 'Works for me," Chris said as he followed his brother out of the attic.

It was the next day when Joe returned. "I have the cure," he said.
'Thank God," Chris said. "I was getting worried."
Not long after, Joe had administered the cure. As Chris and Wyatt looked on, Sawyer began to breath more regular.
"Glad that's over," Wyatt said.
"Yes, but don't forget that Magwan is still out there?"
"Magwan?"
"That's the name of the Styrollian agent that is targeting your son," Joe said.
"Well, if he shows up again, we'll be ready," Chris vowed.
"Right, I'll just head back to my base and see if I can track him," Joe said and teleported out.
"Come on, bro. We have some plans of our own to make," Chris said.

Over the next few days, Sawyer continued to get stronger. "Looks like the worst is over," Wyatt said. "Thank goodness for that," Chris said. "Now we should keep watch, in case our Styrollian friend tries again." "I know," Chris said. "I'll take the first watch."
"That will not be necessary," a new voice said. Wyatt and Chris turned to see Magwan, covering them with a blaster. "This is a meason laser, gentlemen, and it produces the most unpleasant results.
"So you finally decided to show yourself," Chris said. "You're after my son. I can't let that happen."
"And no doubt you've been told why."
"Yeah, because his descendant will defeat your people in a war, about 900 years from now," Wyatt said.
"Correct," Magwan said. "If not for you humans, the Styrollian Imperium would be rulers of the galaxy."
"And you're here to make sure that happens," Chris said. "By killing my son."
"And you too," Magwan said as he raised the blaster. "You've left me no choice."
Magwan fired, but Wyatt's force field popped up and protected him and Chris.
"And now this!" Chris said, as he charged Magwan and punched him in the saw. The brothers looked on with satisfaction as the Styrollian fell to the floor, unconscious.
"Well done!" Joe said as he arrived on the scene.
"What will happen to him now?" Chris asked.
"I'll take him back to the 40th Century, where he will stand trial for trying to alter the past." Joe looked at Chris. "Your son is safe now, my friend."
Two days later...
Wyatt, Chris, and Bianca were looking down at Sawyer, who was sleeping. "He looks so peaceful," Bianca said.
"And it's hard to believe that his descendant will one day help humanity win a war," Chris said.
"Yeah, what was all that about anyway?" Bianca asked.
"I'll explain later," Chris said to his wife.
And I get the feeling that a new chapter of our lives is just beginning, Wyatt thought to himself. We better be ready.
The end (for now)
