Alexei: Well you wanted her out of Mama's shadow and to quit seeking her approval for every little thing she does didn't you ?

TBC... Here we go again with the motorcycles! It's just like we've come full circle with the beginning well minus the credit cards! The two aren't going to return any time soon! This is going to be quite a journey again! We may have to call in Sablin and Rodionov and Yurovsky if need be!

Anastasia: It's Paul I miss him. The first time we did this, I had no children. I have a son now, I can't leave him. I have to go back.

Sablin (voice): Yes?
Sam: Let Rodionov know that you're both needed here... oh and call Yurovsky!
Sablin (voice): Is something wrong?
Sam: I'll explain when you three get here!
Sablin: We'll be on our way shortly then!
Sam: Good... thanks! (hangs up) Sablin will tell Rodinov, they'll call Yurovksy and then the three will be over shortly!
Alexandra: What happens now with Alexei?
Sam: He has a good start on us that's for sure! We'll find him Alix... we'll bring him back! Oh and Nicky don't pull the "Mr. King of the Castle"... remember what happened all the other times you did that?

Sam (now Nicky's calling someone): Now who are YOU calling?
Nicholas: Misha it's your brother Nicky! Call Xenia and Olga... have them come to Anichkov Palace with you!
Misha (voice): Will do! What's going on?

Misha (voice): Alright, I'm on it!
Sam (hears the door): That must be the first three!
Sablin: Something's up... what is it?

Sam: Yes, sorry! Alexei has run off again! There's a difference this time! Alix forgot he was 21 now and when he asked to move in here she said no and that he was still a child! (OTM look at her) Okay I made the mistake saying she was right! Anyhow... he sneaked out and came over here and woke me up at 2:00 this morning and moved himself in and then we all argued at breakfast about him going back since he said he wasn't! Anastasia encouraged him to run out the door before i could do that snapping fingers thing and practically pop him back to Tsarkoe Selo, they ride of on his bike and then the imp is smart enough to return because of her son! So she's in trouble! Me and his older sisters and their husbands are going to track him! Or well I am going to track him but that's not the point! Alexandra said for them to go and that they would look after the children! The question I pose to you is do you want to come with us?
Misha: I'll go... he is my nephew after all!
Yurovsky: I'll stay but I'll keep a look out!
Sablin: I'd like to come but I'll stay and keep a look out as well!

TBC... Anastasia continues from there! Off we go on a crazy adventure... that and Malama just can let that Moscow Ripper thing go can he? It seems Operation Tsarevich includes: Sam, Olga and her Dmitri, Tatiana and her Dmitri, Maria and her Ivan, Rodionov, Misha! The others are part of it too, they're just not the ones going out for him!

Anastasia: Because he's a grown man now, Mama, and you were treating him like a child.

Anastasia: That's just it, Mama, you have to realize he's not a little boy anymore. Nor is his health at risk. He can look after himelf.
Nicholas: That just NOT justify you helping him do what he has done. Do you realize how many people you've inconvenienced by this little escapade.

Sam: Very good! I know what these things are like! When i had cancer... i was told to take it easy and not to get too stressed because it was bad for my heart! I didn't listen half percent of the time... so look where it got me a lot of times if i may add!

Sam: Just like Papa... exactly! If he's strong willed like i think he is... he'll pull through!
Tatiana: It will take a couple weeks!
Sam: Or worse... months!
Tatiana: I must go inform the others!

Sam: Anastasia? It's not Olga if that's who your worried about! (looks around) Imp where are you?

Sam (looks about): Nastya? (looks down under the bed to see her crumpled up under there) Won't you come out?

Downstairs, everyone but Anastasia's in the study...
Tatiana (enters): Everyone...

TBC... Tatiana's line goes from there. Olga blames Anastasia for all of this and goes up and starts yelling at her... and it's going to take Tatiana and Maria to make her stop yelling at her! Anastasia's not coming out from under her bed anytime soon... thanks Olga but don't worry Maria takes care of Paul (go figure)! No the imp's not going to do anything you know crazy... she's just being reclusive! Nicky's going to be on a respirator for sometime... he's that bad off! Will he pull through... just wait and see!

Downstairs, everyone but Anastasia's in the study...

Tatiana: Enters. Everyone, Papa has had a heart attack. Right now it's till too early to determine how severe it is.
Alexandra: Will..... Will he survive?
Tatiana: As I said, Mama, it's too early to tell. What exactly happened?
Alexandra: Well. Recounts the argument.
Olga: So it was Anastasia's fault!
Tatiana: Olga, stop it! Heart attacks don't just happen, there must have been a preexisting condition.
Olga: Yes, but she set it off! That little...
Tatiana: Olga, I said enough!
Maria: Besides, Nastya was right. This is our palace, Papa should have known that.
Olga: Fine, defend her all you want. Storms out.

Upstairs, Anastasia is still under the bed, when Olga comes in and finds her.

Olga: There you are, murderer!
Anastasia: Olga, please don't say that, I feel bad enough as it is.
Olga: As you should. You put our father on his death bed. I ALWAYS KNEW YOUR PRANKS WOULD GO TOO FAR, NOW THEY HAVE!
Anastasia: Olga...
Olga: YOU MAY AS WELL HAVE PULLED OUT A GUN AND SHOT HIM YOURSELF!
Anastasia begins to cry.

Nicholas (looks around): Where am I?

Sam: It's your father! The heart monitor... he... come see! (they go in) Help me get the respirator off!
Tatiana (they take it off leaving an oxygen tank on): Papa?
Sam: Nicky are you awake?
Nicholas: Tatiana?
Tatiana: I'm here Papa!
Nicholas: Where's Olga?
Sam: She's talking to Anastasia right now! How did this happen... i know i had nothing to do with it!
Tatiana: You didn't?
Sam: No, I was talking to him and all of sudden this happened!
Nicholas: Mama came to me! She told me to wake up so that I wouldn't miss Olga's ball tomorrow!
Sam: Marie Feodorovna to the rescue! Do you want me to get the others... a few at a time is best!

Sam: Of course I will Nicky! (goes to BP Room and sees the LP and Olga talking) Girls?

Maria: Oh god please don't let him die!

Tatiana: Now, Papa, you must remember to keep your stress levels down. These pills I've perscribed will help, but it's mostly up to you.
Nicholas: Yes, Dr. Malama. Smiles.
Tatiana: What is it?
Nicholas: Just I'm so proud of you, Tatiana. My daughter the doctor.
Tatiana smiles and blushes.
Alexandra: Comes in. How's the patient?
Tatiana: He's fine. I've just given him some medical advice to keep his stress down. I hope he follows it.

Alexandra: And I'll make sure he does.

Nicholas (laughs as she exits): Gibbes... interesting!

Olga, Maria, and Anastasia walk up...

Olga: What was all that about?
Tatiana: Oh just. Explains.
Anastasia: Gibbes? That was the name of our old English tutor!
Maria: That's right. I wonder if they're related.
Tatiana: I don't know, Mashka, it is a common enough last name?
Anastasia: Whatever happened to that guy anyway? Our Gibbes, I mean. We haven't seen him since the revolution.
Nicholas: I understand he fled Russia soon after the Bolsheviks refused to allow him to come to Ipatiev House with us.
Olga: And he never came back after things calmed down. Didn't he watch the news?
Alexandra: That is odd, Nicky. Why didn't he and Mr. Gilliard come back?
Nicholas: Actually, Alix, that's a good question. Maybe I should see if Kerensky can track them down.
Anastasia: Uh, Papa, we're all a little old for tutors.
Tatiana: Yes, Nastya, but my children aren't.
Olga: Neither are mine.
Maria: It would be kind of nice to have both of them back. Our children can benefit from them, as we did.
Tatiana: And hopefully won't lock them in closets or climb trees to get away from them like someone here did.
Anastasia puts on this "Who me?" look...


Maria: Yes you! I have a better idea Papa!
Nicholas: Which is?
Maria: Why don't we ask Sam?
Olga: Mashka's right... being from the future she should know!
Anastasia: Well good... let's go into lunch finally!
Tatiana: I agree!

At Lunch...
Olga: We have a question for you?
Sam: Yes and?
Olga: Whatever happened to our tutors?
Sam: Which ones?
Tatiana: You know... our Gibbes, Monsieur Gilliard, even Peter Petrov!
Sam: Petrov... I don't know! Gibbes if I remember correctly is a priest now and Gilliard is in Paris teaching French at the University and i don't know if he's won his honor for like best teacher or something!

Maria: We were talking about tutors for our children!
Sam: Who knows maybe we'll find someone!
Olga: Maybe! Although it was fun with Gilliard i must say?

Sam (before food is thrown): Hey, hey... save a food fight for the ball tomorrow! (Alexandra clears her throat) Okay make that after the ball when the guests have left!

Maria: I'm going to bake Olga's cake.
Anastasia: And I'll help.
Maria: Yeah, right, you just want to lick the bowl.
Anastasia: Okay, Mashka, you got me. Hmmmm...
Maria: What is it, Nastya?
Anastasia: You're quite good at this, ever thought of making a career out of this?
Maria: Me, a chef?
Anastasia: Why not, we have a doctor in the family, why not a chef?
Maria: You know, Nastya, this may not be a bad idea?
Tatiana: Comes in. What might not be a bad idea?
Anastasia: I just suggested that Maria here become a real chef.
Tatiana: I like that idea. Why not go for it, Mashka?
Maria: Well, I'd have to talk to Ivan first. However, I don't him having a problem with it.
Anastasia: My sisters, the doctor and the chef. Cool.
At that point, Alexei shows up.
Alexei: Need a hand.
His three sisters are to astonished to reply.

Alexandra: So, how are you feeling, Nicky?
Nicholas: Alix, I'm fine, really.
Alexandra: Sorry, I'm just worried. I guess the shoe is on the other foot now.
Nicholas: How so?
Alexandra: I remember how worried you were when I had that stroke years ago. I felt the same way now.
Nicholas: Yes, I suppose that's true. We both had nasty health scares, but we got through them. Thank God.
Alexandra: And a few others I could mention.

Sam (walks into kitchen): Having fun are we?
Maria: Tons... care to help?
Sam: But of course! So how's the chef idea?
Maria: How did you... you read my mind didn't you?
Sam: No would I? Seriously though answer the question!
Maria: I'm leaning towards it but not at the same time!
Anastasia: Why not?
Maria: Because soon I'll be running like a nursery... with all those children i don't see how i could fit it in!
Sam: It's called cooking on the side... who says you have to be a pro at it! Work at your nursery when it comes time for there to be one that is... and have fun cooking and stuff on the side!
Maria: I like that idea!
Sam: Good... you should!
Tatiana: I hear footsteps! I'll go keep Olga busy! (comes out to see Olga) Walk with me? But of course!
Olga (as they're walking): You're in a pretty good mood!
Tatiana: Well what can i say? I'm with family... those I love dearly! Why wouldn't i be in a good mood!
Olga: How very true! (worried) Do you think Mama would approve of that food fight Sam mentioned?
Tatiana: Hey, now you sound like the old me!
Olga (smiles): I know!
Tatiana (gasps): You so did that on purpose to make fun of me!
Olga: No i didn't!
Tatiana: Uh yeah you did!
Olga (grins): Yeah, yeah I did Governess!
Tatiana: You are something else you know that?
Olga: What else could I be besides a wife, your sister, the other part of the BP... what else is there Tatiana?

Maria: Yeah I hope they aren't having another catfight again!

Maria (timer goes off): It's done! Now we just start frosting it!

Alexandra (Nicky's asleep in his chair): Uh Nicky?
Nicholas (yawns): Yes Alix?
Alexandra: You're dozing off... again!
Nicholas: Oh I guess I just need to find something to do!

Sam (as it's almost done frosting): Oh god is she going to love this!
Maria: Hey Sam?

Maria: Just because I'm curious... what did you get our smart and clever sister?
Sam: A Book!
Anastasia: Go figure!
Sam: A book from her past... and she just may want to like kill me for it!
Anastasia: What's the book?
Sam (smiles): You'll see! (mutters) Where's Gilliard when you need him?
Maria: What?
Sam: I said where's the rest of the frosting... (points to a bit) it's missing some!
Maria (looks): Oh yeah! (frosts the bit) There we go!

The day of Olga's Birthday...
Sam (creeps in and watches her sleep, she's on her side): Oh Olga? (Olga stirs making her smile) It's showtime!
She transforms. She starts nudging at Olga's back with her head... that doesn't seem to work. She taps her with her paws... that don't work either.
Sam (transforms back): She's sleeping soundly this morning! (gets an idea) Oh perfect!
She glamors back and creeps onto the bed. She nudges at Olga's arm so it lifts and goes over. Olga stirs.
Olga (feels the fur and slowly begins waking): Fur? Vaska? Not now. (slowly opens her eyes) That's not Vaska's fur! (she looks next to her to see the leopard looking right back at her) Oh my... yahhh! (She backs up so much she rolls over the side of the bed, the leopard just watches) You again? But you... you were... huh? (the leopard gets up and off of the bed. She nudges Olga towards the bathroom with her head) What... are you trying to tell me something? (leopard nudges door closed, you hear Olga's voice) Oh I get it... you're telling me to get ready for the day! (Comes out) There... see? (Leopard nudges her out the bedroom door) Where are you taking me? (Olga's nudged down the stairs) Easy there, not so fast... you don't want to push me down the stairs do you? (leopard jumps down skipping the last three steps) Oh showing off are we? (leopard's getting insistent) Alright! I'm going! (they get to the ballroom) Why... thank you? (looks around) Where did she go? Anyhow...
All (as Olga opens the door, the lights flash on): SURPRISE!!!
Olga: Oh my... what?
Sam: Surprised are we?
Olga (can barely speak): Uh... yeah... I'm...
Dmitri C-B: May I have this first waltz?
Olga: But of course!
Sam: Go and have fun! I'll be here watching!

As the ball goes on...
Sam: I think i need to sit... you know this is why i don't waltz very often!
Tatiana: It can get tiring after a while can't it?
Sam: Yeah now i know what you two went through!
Olga (comes over): Sitting out already are we?
Sam: Ha, ha Olga!
Maria (comes over): You think it's time?
Sam: Time for? (Maria makes a head gesture) Oh yes... let's do it!
Olga: Let's do what?
Maria (goes and gets it with Dmitri C-B and Anastasia's help): Let's have cake?

Olga: I... uh... wow? Four sisters but i only have three! (Sam winks) Oh yes... duh!
Sam: Having a little trouble there are we?
Olga: It's like one surprise after another!
Sam: I know! (cake has been eaten) From me to you... a little blast from the past and hey i just rhymed!
Olga: Ha, ha! (opens it up) No way... you didn't?

Sam (as she watches): Look at her go!
Tatiana: She's having fun!
Sam: Which is good after what you've all been through!
Tatiana: Yeah I know!
Olga (comes over after a dance): You and I need to talk! How did you do it?

Olga: The books... they're signed!
Sam: It's called going through time remember? I went to France and got an original copy and had Victor Hugo sign it!

Sam: London, had Charles Dickens sign it! Oh and yes I took Maria with me! She got it... I talked to the good old author there!

Post ball and oh dear...
Sam: Well that was an exciting day!
Maria: And evening!
Sam: Oh but it's only going to get more exciting!
Maria: How so... where did you just go? (she feels a head under her hand) You... you're going to surprise Olga aren't you!
Olga (as she's sitting and resting all of a sudden she feels two paws on her lap) Oh it's you again!

Sam (slams a piece of leftover cake in her face): Happy birthday Olga!

Sam: What this? (does it again) Yes, yes Olga I did! (she ducks) Nice try! (she turns to Alix) Oh dear!
Alexandra: So that's how it goes? Very well... I suppose... (throws something back at her) I will just have to return the favor!
Olga: Just try me... (gets hit in the face with something) Mama! (goes over where the 2 D's are) Dmitri honey?
Dmitri C-B: Yes... (pied in the face) thank you honey!
Olga (Malama's laughing): What are you laughing about? (pies him too) Don't think I forgot about you!
Dmitri M: Oh that's it you're so going to get it now!
Anastasia: Hey Maria?
Maria (turns and gets her with frosting first): You wanted something imp?
Anastasia: Yeah i did (does it back) Now we're even!
Olga: Hey Papa... take thaaaat! (she falls and the moment she looks up a bowl of pudding meant for Nicky hits her instead) I guess not!
Nicholas: Here Olga.... let me help you up dear!
Olga: Sure! (pulls Nicky down and then gets up) Thanks for helping me up Papa!
Sam: Hey Alix?
Alexandra: Yes? (turns and gets pied) I should have seen that coming!
Sam: Yeah I know! (Alexei's right behind her but she turns and gets him first) Don't think I've forgotten about you! (sees Sablin and Rodionov over near the steps) Oh I wouldn't dare!
Sablin (as Sam comes over): Well hello... there what happened to you?
Sam: Like I said when we first saw each other! Well, well, well (pies Sablin then looks to Rodionov) look what the Standart (pies Rodinov) anchored in!
Rodionov: Oh you didn't just do that!
Tatiana (taps him on the shoulder and pies him as he turns): Yes Rodionov... she did and so did I! Let's just say it's my way of thank you for being my sailor companion for all these years!
Sablin: At least Olga (gets a tap on the shoulder and sure enough...) won't try anything?
Olga: Consider that my way of thanking you too Sablin!
Sablin: Okay that's it!
Olga (backs away): Sablin don't even think about it! (She ducks out of his way) Thanks Maria for being the perfect shield!
Maria: Sablin!
Olga: Now you have... (Sablin gets her back) Maria after you! (Sablin turns around and gets something thrown at him from Maria) Just like that actually!

After food fight and everything's cleaned up...
Sam (goes into BP Room and sees the four chatting): I just wanted to wish you all a goodnight and to say I hope you all had fun!
Olga: Oh yeah... did you see the look on Sablin and Rodionov's faces when we first got them?
Tatiana: Oh yes, they're expressions were very priceless!
Anastasia: How about when Alexei got Nagorney by standing on that chair right near him while he was paying attention!
Maria: Then Nagorney turned around smiled and got him right back! Priceless!
Sam: Happy birthday Olga and this time you don't have to worry about cake being slammed in your face!
Maria: Yeah whatever happened to the cake after?
Sam: There's luckily some good slices left over! (Maria gets up) Hungry again are we?
Maria (as she goes out the door): You have no idea... apparently he or she likes to eat a lot right now!
Sam: Or he AND she!
Maria: What?
Sam: Nothing! Don't stay up too much longer!
Maria: Tell that to him... or her!
Sam: Uh-huh! Goodnight girls!
OTA (look at each other then back at her): Goodnight!


Maria is down having a midnight snack when her sisters find her...

Anastasia: Eating again!?
Maria: Hey, eating for two, remember?
Tatiana: I can relate.
Anastasia: Considering you were eating for four!
Olga: I want to thank you all. That was a great birthday.
Tatiana: I'm glad you liked it, Olga. I had fun.
Maria: Me too.
Anastasia: And how about that food fight. Mama didn't freak out at all, in fact she joined in.
Tatiana: Yeah, there was time that Mama would never have done anything like that.
Maria: But that's in the past.
Olga: Yeah, it is. Oh did you hear, Sam has gone home for Thanksgiving. She's going to spend it with her family.
Anastasia: Uh, isn't that in October?
Tatiana: That's the Canadian Thanksgiving, Nastya. The American one is towards the end of November.
Anastasia: Why don't they have them at the same time?
Tatiana: You got me.
Olga: Anyway, I'm off back to bed.
Tatiana: Me too.
Anastasia: Yeah, I guess I'll push off too.
Maria: Stuffs one more piece of food in her mouth and follows. Wait for me!

The next day...

Sam (enters): Hey I'm back! Where is everyone! (a couple doors burst open) Well that's one way to greet me! (As everyone rushes down the stairs she backs up) Whoah... whoah try not to... gah... (gets pounced on knocking her down) pounce on me!
Maria (as they all get up she extends a hand): Here let me help you up!
Olga: Sorry about that! How was your Thanksgiving?
Sam: It was wonderful!
Tatiana: That's wonderful to hear!
Anastasia: I bet you were stuffed... get it... thanksgiving... stuffed?
Sam (laughs): I get it... and yeah actually i was! I just can't get enough of cranberry sauce!
Olga: Sounds familiar with bacon!
Sam: Oh yeah it is! I was even jokingly told not to eat all the cranberry sauce well in the beginning!
Tatiana: Sounds wonderful!
Sam: How is Alexei?
Olga: Oh he's here! Well you were gone... him, Mama and Papa had a nice long talk!
Anastasia: Yeah and sometimes when Papa almost wanted to loose it... we had to remind him who's palace he was in and sometimes (laughs) sometimes MAMA... what was that term again?
Maria: Gibbes-ed! She Gibbes-ed him... yes we said Mama was the one to do it!
Olga: Hey it set him straight and reminded him to keep his stress under control!
Sam: Good to hear! So what does this all mean then?
Alexei (sneaks up behind her): It means that if you say yes then me and Nagorney will stay here! We've decided that you would have the final say since you didn't get the chance!
Sam: Yes and I'm sorry about the whole child thing!
Alexei: Ah forget it!
Olga: Yeah remember... what's done is done!
Sam (looks to Olga jokingly serious): Don't you start that again!
Olga: Hmmm... well... I'll have to think about it!
Sam: Yeah, yeah, yeah! I'm sure you just will!
Olga: Oh I will! (something looks wrong) Sam are you alright?
Sam: Yeah... I'm just going to get something to eat!

Tatiana: Papa just called. Apparently Prince Carol of Romania is making a state visit.
Olga: Ugh!
Dmitri C-B: Olga, what is it?
Olga: I'll explain later.
Tatiana: Anyway, there is going to be a reception in his honour. We're expected to attend.
Olga: Must we?
Tatiana: Yes, we must. Olga, that was years ago.
Dimitri C-B: Seriously, what's going on?
Olga: Years ago, before you and I met, we paid a visit to Romania. I was introduced to Prince Carol. I think they hoped I would end up marrying him. Needless to say, he didn't impress me. In fact, I found him a deadly bore. Of course, the wedding didn't happen.
Dimitri C-B: And I'm glad it didn't. Still, I think we should go.
Olga: Sighs. I suppose so.
Anastasia: Besides, I like receptions.
Maria: Me too. I can't wait
Olga: Gets up. If you all will excuse me. Walks away.
Anastasia: Whoa, I get the impression that Olga doesn't want to go.
Tatiana: I'll see why. Follows Olga.

Night of the reception at Alexander Palace, everything is going well, until Prince Carol catches Olga alone.

Carol: Hello Olga.
Olga: Carol. Are you enjoying your reception?
Carol: Oh, I am. However, the main reason I came is to see you again.
Olga: Me? Why?
Carol: So I can give you another chance to be with me.
Olga: Are you nuts? I'm a married woman!
Carol: Pah, your husband is a mere commoner. What can he give you that I can't?
Olga: My husband is a wonderful man, something you're not. Now , if you will excuse me...
Carol grabs her arm.
Olga: Unhand me now!
Carol: No way, let me show you a real man! Begins to try and kiss her.
Olga: Let me go!
At that point, Dimitri C-B arrives, grabs Carol and socks him in the jaw. Carol falls to the floor.
Dimitri C-B: Olga, are you okay?
Olga: I'm fine, now that you're here.
Carol: You hit me, you commoner!
Dimitri C-B: Yeah, and I'll do it again if you don't leave my wife alone!
Carol: I'll....I'll...
Dimitri C-B just stands there with a "Go ahead, make my day!" look.
Carol: This insult will not go unpunished. Storms away.
Olga: I think you might have caused an international incident.
Dimitri C-B: I don't much care about that.
Sam, Tatiana, Maria, and Anastasia walk up.
Anastasia: Yeah, we saw the whole thing. That creep was totally putting the moves on Olga. My Ivan would have done the same thing.
Maria: As would mine.
Tatiana: Same with my Dimitri. No matter what happens, we'll be there to back you both up.
Olga: Smiles. Thank you all.


Back in the main hall, Nicholas and Alexandra are entertaining the other guests, when Prince Carol storms up to them...

Carol: My government will hear of this insult! Storms away.
Nicholas: Looking at Alexandra. Okay, what just happened here!?

Alexandra: I haven't a clue Nicky! (The eight enter) What happened with Carol?
Olga: He tried to kiss me that is what happened... Dmitri decked him!
Nicholas: Oh that's not good! Not good at all!
Sam (enters): Sorry some people wanted to greet me so i missed the rest! How did everything go... not well apparently since Carol almost knocked me down on the way out?
Olga: At least he didn't try to kiss you!
Sam: Say what!?
Anastasia: We saw it all! He said he mainly came to give her another chance to be with him and then calling Dmitri a commoner... he tried to kiss her!
Maria: Yeah and when Olga yelled at him to let her go... Dmitri must have heard cause he came right up and WHACK... right at Carol's jaw!
Sam: Oh my god!
Maria: Although that makes me wonder if he had forgotten about me so soon!
Nicholas: Oh yes... when he asked for your hand in marriage instead of Olga on that trip! I'm glad i laughed it off and told him you were still just a schoolgirl.... which you still were anyhow!
Maria: Thank you for saving me from him Papa!
Nicholas: Anytime!
Sam: So what does this mean?
Dmitri C-B: Apparently because I'm just a commoner... Carol thinks he'll make me pay!

Two weeks later...
Nicholas: Oh Alix look... we have mail all the way from Romania!
Alexandra: Is Carol apologizing for his lack of royal behavior? (Nicky's eyes widen) Nicky... (looks to the paper in his hand) what's wrong!?
Nicholas: It's a warrant!
Alexandra: A warrant!?
Nicholas (reads it aloud): We, the government of Romania hereby issue a warrant for one common soldier Dmitri Chahk-Baghov for attacking his royal highness the crowned prince Carol II of Romania! Our government is sending officials over to your country to assume custody of said prisoner! We do not wish war but if you refuse you shall leave us no choice but to send troops to your country!
Alexandra: Oh my goodness! We must go and inform the others!
Nicholas: We'll go over to Anichkov at once!

At Anichkov everyone but Sam is gathered because of her "medical condition" so she's home....
Olga: You wanted to talk to all of us Papa?
Nicholas: Yes! It's something you all need to know... (gestures to Olga and her Dmitri) especially you two! Olga, your husband is...

TBC... Nicky's line continues from there telling them that Romania wants Dmitri... after Dmitri says he'll go willingly so as to not start a war but he'll be alright he is arrested and sent to Romania! Don't worry he'll be fine... wait he will be fine right? Stay tuned and find out!

Nicholas: Olga, your husband is wanted in Romania on an arrest warrent for hitting Carol. Furthermore, if we don't turn Dimitri over to them, they'll declare war on us.
Olga: What? No way?
Anastasia: That little country declare war on us? That's stupid, they could never hope to beat us, we'd flatten them!

Nicholas: Looks like we have a very tense situation here. Kerensky is talking to the Romanian Government now, but they're adamant on this.
Dimitri C-B: Then there is only one choice. I'll surrender myself to them willingly.
Olga: WHAT!? YOU'LL DO NO SUCH THING, DIMITRI!!
Dimitri C-B: Olga...

Official: We're looking for Dmitri Chahk-Baghov!
Dmitri C-B: I answer to that name!
Olga (just as another official is about to manacle him...): NO! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
Dmitri C-B: Excuse my wife... she's just being protective! Let me speak with her! (Officials nod, he goes over and takes her by the shoulders) Olga?
Olga: You can't go! I won't let them take you!
Dmitri C-B: You have to! I won't be gone very long! (embraces her) Olga listen to me... I'll be alright! (lifts her chin to face him and kisses her) I'll be home soon!
Olga (hugs him again): I don't want to let you go!
Dmitri C-B: You have to Olga.... Olga you have to let me go! (he breaks free so officials step in, as he's manacled she grabs onto him again) Olga! Everything will be okay!
Olga: No... you aren't being taken away from me... from your children!
Sam (comes down with Tatiana behind her) I got her! (she tugs at her) Olga... you have to let him go! OLGA! (she forces Olga to break free from Dmitri) Let him go!

Sam: This is going to be quite an adventure!

Sam: I would take care of that but of course i have to go to Romania!
Tatiana (Olga starts crying, she goes over and sits next to her): We'll take care of her... don't worry!

Maria: Good luck!

Tatiana (as Sam exits): Olga it's going to be okay!
Olga (in between sobs): No, no it isn't!
Maria: You're thinking of only the negative again!

Olga: How... how did this happen?
Tatiana: I don't know Olga! But Sam will bring Dmitri back to us!
Olga: I hope she does!
Maria: Remember when I thought my wedding was ruined because Papa, Mama, and Alexei were imprisoned?

Maria: Sam said she wasn't going to let it happen... not if she could help it! Remember when she came back? She stepped aside and sure enough... there the three of them were! The same will happen with Dmitri... I just know it!

Dmitri C-B (as Carol comes to the bars, he's sitting on the "bed" more of a bench if you will): What do you want!?
Carol II: Tsk! Tsk! Remember who you're giving that attitude to! I just wanted to see if you've settled in? You're going to be here for quite a while!
Dmitri C-B: No thanks to you if i may add!
Carol II: There's that commoner attitude of yours again... watch how you speak to me since i just happen to be the Prince of Romania!
Dmitri C-B: So you've come to make fun of me I take it?

Nicholas: Not yet. Kerensky has filed a protest with the Romanian Ambassador. He hasn't heard back yet.
Maria: Don't worry, Olga, Sam will fix this somehow.
Olga: I know. That's all from keeping me from heading to Romania myself.
Dimitri M: Olga, I understand how you're feeling. Your Dimitri is my friend, we went through the war together. Part of me wants to try and rescue him too. However, I understand why he did this. He wants to save lives by preventing a war.
Olga: Can Carol really get away with this?
Nicholas: Well, Olga, don't forget, in Romania the monarchy still have political power.
Anastasia: Yeah, they didn't have the lesson of a revolution to teach them how outdated that system is.
Maria: I hope it happens soon. I can't imagine that slimeball on the throne of Romania.

Tatiana: Really! She's on her way to see Carol and his father!
Olga: Oh this should be very interesting! (gets a call and looks at the ID) No way!
Tatiana: Who is it?
Olga (smiles and answers): How's Romania?
Sam (voice): It's... it's Romania let's leave it at that! I just called to make sure how you were!
Olga: I'm... okay! I suppose I'm still stunned at Dmitri turning himself in like that!
Sam (voice): That's understandable! Well I am almost to the prison... I want to see Dmitri first!
Olga: Ask him if he's okay for me will you... oh and send him our love?

Sam: Yes and I took the Polar Star to get here too! I wanted to see how you were?
Dmitri C-B: I'm alright! They haven't tortured me or anything! That Carol... he's something!
Sam: I'm going to see his father! I'm going to get you out! Something tells me Carol wasn't completely honest!

Sam: She's handling it and let's just leave it at that! She wanted to come here herself but we stopped her! I talked to her on the phone on the way here to the prison!

Sam: She's still stunned that you gave yourself up! Oh and she wanted to make sure you were okay and for me to tell you they all love you back home!

Sam (looks at Carol as if she herself could deck him): Oh I've heard of him alright! I've come to ask you to let Dmitri Chahk-Baghov go!
Ferdinand: He attacked my son!
Sam: Attacked!? All he did was sock him in the jaw... and he had it coming to him too!
Ferdinand: From what I have been told... all my son was doing was talking to Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaievna when it happened!

Sam: Anyone home?
Olga: We're all right here just like you asked!

Dmitri C-B: Yes and by the way Sam decked Carol herself!

Sam: He had it coming to him! He insulted me, Olga and Dmitri so I lost it and went over and gave him a right black eye! What's even more nice is... his father let me get away with it!
Anastasia: Oh nice!
Sam: Yeah I don't think we're going to have to worry about Carol causing anymore trouble any time soon!
Maria: I should hope not!
Tatiana: I'll go call Mama and Papa and let them know!

Ferdinand: On TV My fellow Romanians, recent events have convinced me that our country needs to enter the 20th Century. That being the case, I have decided to follow the example of our Russian neighbours. As of an hour ago, I signed a new Constitution, transferring all political power to the Romanian Parliament. As of an hour ago, the Romanian king is a figurehead monarch. I feel it is in the best interest of our people that I do this.
Anchorman: Needless to say, Prince Carol, next in line to the throne, was not too thrilled by what his father did.
Carol: On TV It was her! That witch woman that Nicholas II keeps around, that American hag! She put a spell on my father, she made him do this! If I ever see her again I'll... rants and throws a tantrum.

Anastasia: Wow, Sam does it again...

Maria: Yeah she does and she wasn't kidding when she said she gave him a black eye!
Olga (who's also watching laughs as she looks at Carol's right eye which he keeps trying to hide it): Yeah i guess that means Sam has quite a swing! He's still trying to hide it! Dude we can all see it!
Sam: What's going on?
Tatiana: The Romanian monarchy is a figurehead now!
Anastasia: Yeah and Carol's throwing a temper tantrum! He says you cast a spell on his father to make his father choose to make a constitution!

Hours later back at Anichkov, OTMAA and the Guys are talking while Sam is resting...

Maria: Nastya's right. This is a big palace, but we talking twenty-one people here.
Dimitri M: Actually there may be a solution for that.
Dimitri C-B: Yeah, we noticed that the building next door is for sale. We could buy it, build a connecting corridor, and thus we'd have more room.
Olga: That's a great idea.
Maria: Yeah, go for it.

The next day...

Dimitri C-B: It's done, the building next door is ours. Now all we need to do is build some connecting corridors.
Ivan S: I'll help.

Dimitri M: Me too.
Alexei: I'd like to help as well. Since I'm fit now, I could use the exercise.

Meanwhile, Anastasia, Maria, and Olga are having lunch...

Tatiana: That's wonderful! Oh Olga isn't it just wonderful our brother can be part of more active things now?

Maria: Our guys egos must be getting bruised again cause she's at the construction area doing a "man's job" again!

Maria: Yeah she showed them she could hunt! Now she's showing them that she's good with a hammer and tools too... or so we've heard!

Sam: We need this to be a little thinner!

Dmitri C-B: Yeah it looks fine!
Sam: If we don't... the nails won't go all the way through because it's too thick of a board!

He cut the board too thick and even though i told him the nail wouldn't go through because of how thick the board was.... he kept saying "Oh no it just takes some extra work" I forced the board from him after a while... cut it more and then look the nails went though to the other board!
Olga: I bet my husband's ego is seriously bruised now!
Sam: Yeah "Mr. You... I.... You".... his ego is badly bruised!
Tatiana: How did my Dmitri handle it?
Sam: He actually laughed at him!
Olga: Oh poor Dmitri... mine i mean!

TBC... once again it looks Sam has taught them a lesson... first hunting now construction! Oh when will they learn? Is there anything Sam can't do? Is there one second she isn't bruising the guys egos... what's next (Tim, ask if you have another thing planned to bruise their egos cause she may or MAY NOT be able to do it)?

Anastasia: So Dr. Governess, how is work? You looked like something out of a zombie movie!
Tatiana: These double shifts are hard. Today there was a five car pile up on the highway. You can imagine the injuries I had to treat.
Maria: Yeah, I can imagine.
Tatiana: Not that I regret becoming a doctor, but sometimes the schedules can be a killer!
Olga: I can imagine.
Suddenly, a shout is heard from the other room.
Voice: YOW! MY FINGER!!
Tatiana: Sighs. I better see which of our guys hammered his own finger.
Anastasia: Dr. Governess swings into action again!

Soon...

Tatiana: Which one of you just yelled?
Alexei: Me. I banged my finger with the hammer.!
Tatiana: Let me see! Examines him.
Alexei: Well?
Tatiana: You're lucky, nothing is broken. However, that is going to bruise.
Alexei: Good think I don't have hemophilia anymore.
Tatiana: Begins to bandage the finger. That's true, it would have been much more severe. However, I'm taking you off the work detail.
Alexei: But...
Tatiana: Now!
Alexei: Yes Dr. Governess. Walks way.
Dimitri M: Looks like that name is catching.
Tatiana: I know.
Dimitri M: You look exhausted.
Tatiana: yeah, that double shift took a lot out of me. The coffee helped, but i need to lie down.
Dimitri M: Okay, will you be up for supper?
Tatiana: Hopefully.

After saying see you later to her sisters, Tatiana goes upstairs to lay down. She is nicely in bed, when she feels the gun on her forehead. She opens her eyes to see Prince Carol standing over her.

Tatiana: You!?
Carol: Yeah, you need to close your windows better.
Tatiana: What do you want?
Carol: I want the Witch Women, the one that cast the spell on my father and made him sign that Constitution.
Tatiana: There is no spell...
Carol: Shut up! I want that Witch Woman to remove the spell, or I'll kill you all!

Carol (all of a sudden his arm with the gun is wrapped behind his back): OW! What the...?
Sam: You could have called us first! (unhands him making him go towards the wall) What do you want Carol?
Carol: Two things actually! First take the spell off of my father and secondly I want Maria Nikolaievna!
Sam: Maria? Whatever happened to Olga?
Carol: I kind of figured that Maria Nikolaievna's no longer a school girl... therefore she's free to marry me now!
Sam: Ha! She's already married bonehead!
Carol: To a Bolshevik? So I heard... well I'm sure I'll be better suited for her then someone who tried to kill her!
Sam: Firstly he wasn't there that morning and secondly... being nice to her is the reason why to begin with!
Carol: Yeah right!
Sam: You have two choices Carol! You either leave on your own or I'll throw you out and right out Tatiana's window if need be!
Carol: I'd like to see you try! (Sam grabs by the collar and out he goes through Tatiana's window) HEYYYY!
Tatiana: Don't tell me i have to treat him?
Sam: Oh don't worry i gave him a soft landing but I think made it clear!
Tatiana: He's not coming back here again is he?
Sam: Nope... i think i made him scared of me especially after that right there! (everyone rushes up) I take it you all heard?
Tatiana: Carol paid a visit! Sam threw him out our window but don't worry she made sure he didn't receive any injuries!
Sam: I think the only injury he's going to have... is his ego!
Olga: Good... serves him right!
Sam: Now let Tatiana get some more rest! Besides WE have a corridor to finish building!
Tatiana: Minus Alexei because of his finger!
Alexei: But Tatiana...
Tatiana: Doctor's orders!
Alexei: Oh fine!

Later at supper...
Tatiana (enters): I apologize for being late but I am here now!
Sam: Good to see you up!
Olga: So when do you go in again?
Tatiana: Tomorrow at 5!
Olga: Nice!
Tatiana: No it isn't... the time is 5 in the morning Olga!
Olga: Ouch!
Tatiana: Yes 5 to 8... the next morning!
Maria: So you'll be gone all day tomorrow?
Tatiana: Practically!
Dmitri M: Well... we'll all miss you here!
Tatiana: Thank you!
Ivan S: Hey... that corridor should be done in a couple more weeks at the rate we're all going!
Sam: Yes... you just need to listen to someone with a more modern touch more is all!
Maria (smiles): Oh Ivan... look she put you in your place!
Olga: Yours too Dmitri... I heard about today!
Dmitri C-B: Yeah, yeah... let it go!
Olga: Not going to happen!
Dmitri C-B: Malama?
Dmitri M: Chahk-Baghov?
Dmitri C-B: Very funny! What were you laughing about when it happened anyhow!?
Dmitri M: You... of course!
Dmitri C-B: Of course!
Olga: Oh my poor dear Golden Mitya!
Dmitri C-B: Well that's a name i haven't heard in a while!
Olga: Well... it popped into my head!
Dmitri C-B: Uh-huh... so we can see!
Sam: By the way Maria?
Maria: Yeah?
Sam: Carol decided to drop Olga and tried to go for you again!
Maria: Tell him I'm still just a schoolgirl!
Olga: You're 26... Carol would know better that you weren't!
Maria: You know what I meant!
Sam: Don't worry I think after tonight he knows better!
Olga: Oh he had better!

Alexandra: Nicky, I just heard from Sam. Carol paid them a visit, he pulled a gun and wanted Maria!
Nicholas: What!? Reaches for the phone. He's gone too far this time. I'll see to it...
Alexandra: No need, Sam had a little "talk" with him, if you catch my meaning.
Nicholas: I think I do. I take it that he soon tucked his tail between his legs and headed back to Romania as fast as possible!
Alexandra: Yes, he did. Looks worried.
Nicholas: Alix, what is it?
Alexandra: It's Tatiana. She's been working these double shifts. I'm worried about her.
Nicholas: Me too. I hope she'll be okay.

A week later, Anichkov Palace, Anastasia, Maria, and Olga are having an evening snack...

Maria: Looks like Tatiana will be coming home late again.
Anastasia: I know. I'm getting worried, these double shifts are killing her.
Olga: Try telling her that.
Maria: Have you?
Olga: Yes, I have. She keeps saying it's her duty to go.
Anastasia: That's Doctor Governess for you.
On cue, Tatiana does come in, looking more dead that alive.
Olga: Oh my God, Tanya...

Tatiana faints....

[Tim]

Anastasia: I'll get the coffee!
Sam (enters and rushes over): OH MY GOD... WHAT HAPPENED!?
Olga: She fainted!
Sam: That's it... no more double shifts! She's working too hard!
Olga: She always has remember?
Sam: There's being the dutiful one... but then there's overdoing it!
Anastasia: I got the coffee!
Sam: Good! Bring the coffee up with us! We're putting the Dr. on bedrest for a little while!
Olga: Remember doctors make the worse patients!
Sam: Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Maria: I'll get her! (picks her up) Let's go!
Sam (watch Maria carry her sister upstairs): Well that... works! Where's Dmitri?
Olga: Outside taking a break from the new corridor... I'll go get him and the other guys! Alexei's with them too!
Maria (comes down): She's in bed!
Sam: Okay... us three will go upstairs and Olga will get the men understand?
Olga: Understood here!
Maria: Me too!
Anastasia: Same here! (looks at coffee cup) I should really bring this up shouldn't i?
Sam: When we go up... you can! Let's go! (she and the LP go upstairs) Place the coffee by her bedside!
Anastasia (goes and does so): Okay!
Maria: I hear footsteps!
Dmitri M (enters in a rush): Is she okay!?
Sam: Oh yeah she'll be fine! She just needs a lot of rest and to stay off of her feet for some time that's all!
Olga: You know being all about duty and stuff... she isn't going to like that right?
Sam: Yes but being the logical practical one as well... she should know it's for her own good!
Olga: Okay true though where was logic and practicality when she kept trying to get out of her wheelchair when she got shot?
Sam: Good point! Maria go call your father!
Olga (Maria nods and goes then Sam heads for the door too): Where are you going?
Sam: I'm going to call the hospital and let them know to take her off these double shifts... that they are WAY too taxing!
Dmitri M: Good idea!

Maria's on the phone...
Maria: Papa?
Nicholas (voice): Yes Maska?
Maria: It's Tatiana! She fainted when she came home from another double shift!
Nicholas (alarmed voice): Is she alright!?
Maria: Sam says she'll be fine! Sam's even put our own Dr. on bedrest!
Nicholas (voice): I'll inform your mother and we will be on our way shortly!
Maria: Very well Papa!

Sam's on the phone...
Receptionist: Tatiana Malama Medical Center how can we help you?
Sam: It's about Dr. Malama actually! This call is coming from Anichkov Palace!
Receptionist: Mrs. Cohen? I can tell it's not one of the sister's voices!
Sam: Yes but please call me Sam! Dr. Malama will not be coming into work for a while! She's overworked and needs to rest! Oh and no more double shifts... they are too much to handle!
Receptionist: Thank you! I'll see what i can do to get another person to take her shifts!
Sam: Do and you should get more then one Dr.!
Receptionist: Thank you for your call and letting us know!
Sam: Quite welcome! (hangs up and goes back upstairs) They've taken her off their schedules until further notice!
Maria (comes in behind her) Papa and Mama are coming!
Olga: Mama didn't freak did she?
Maria: I don't know... it was Papa i talked too!
Sam (Tatiana stirs): Tatiana?
Tatiana: What happened... where am I!?
Sam: You're upstairs in bed... which until further notice this is where you are going to stay!
Tatiana: The center needs me!
Sam: Okay it's one thing to be dutiful but Tatiana it's another thing to overdo it! You're overworking yourself... which is why when you came home this morning you fainted!
Tatiana: I did!? (tries to sit up but is a bit dizzy) Whoa my head!
Sam (lays her back down): Take it easy there Governess! We're all here with you and I called the hospital and informed them that for the time being you are not to work!
Tatiana: But what if I'm needed?
Sam: They're finding replacements! If you want to work on something... (hands her, her knitting that she's been working on) you'll just have to work on this when you're more better! (pushes her back down by pushing her shoulder) Quit trying to sit up doc!
Anastasia (grabs the coffee): Here... have some coffee!
Sam (takes the cup and looks to Tatiana): I was just about to ask for the coffee! (She lifts her head so she doesn't sit up) Drink... you need your energy!
Tatiana: Thank you... i needed this!
Olga: We know!
Sam (lowers Tatiana's head back down) There we go! Come on everyone... let her rest! You will rest right? You being the practical logical one... you would know this is for your own good right Tatiana?
Tatiana (sighs): Right... (looks around) no you're right!
Sam: That's what i figured! Seriously now... everyone out the door and let her rest! We'll check on you later!
Tatiana: Alright! What about the coffee cup?
Sam: Just very carefully put it back at the bedside... someone will get it eventually! You don't need to worry about anything! We're all going to take of you Tatiana!
Tatiana (smiles): I thought that was my job?
Maria: You have always taken care of us but now Tatiana we will take care of you!
Tatiana: Thank you all... I'm glad i have all of you here by my side!
Sam (as she pushes even Dmitri M out the door she pokes her head in the door): Rest!
Tatiana: I shall!

TBC... this time she's going to be smart and listen. Alix and Nicky are on their way over!


Soon, Nicholas and Alexandra arrive...

Alexandra: Tanya! I must see her! Heads for the stairs.
Olga: Grabs her. Not now, Mama, she needs to rest.
Alexandra: But Nicky told me she had fainted..
Nicholas: Yes, and you rushed out before I could finish. She fainted because she was being overworked.
Anastasia: Yeah, another doctor took ill, and Tanya took over his shifts.
Maria: We kept telling her that she was working too hard, but she wouldn't listen! She kept saying it was her duty to her oath.
Alexandra: Sounds just like her.
Olga: Anyway, Sam called the Medical Center and told them that Tatiana would not be in for a while. She needed time off. They're going to find doctors to fill her for her until she comes back.
Alexandra: That's good to know.

Soon, Alexandra is with Tatiana...

Alexandra: How are you feeling?
Tatiana: Better, Mama, I guess you heard.
Alexandra: Yes, I have. Tanya, you can't push yourself like that.
Tatiana: I know, but when that other doctor got sick, I just wanted to help.
Alexandra: And you did, but you made yourself sick as well. Anyway, Sam arranged for you to have some time off.
Tatiana: I guess so.
Nicholas comes in.
Nicholas: It's all arranged.
Tatiana: What is?
Nicholas: Livadia.
Tatiana: We're going to Livadia.
Nicholas: No, just you, your sisters, and Sam are going. Alix and I will stay here with the guys and look after your children.
Alexandra: I think that's a great idea. It's been a long time since you had any real sister time, that visit to Ipatiev House notwithstanding.
Tatiana: I guess I'm outvoted on this. Laughs.
Nicholas: Yes, you are. Now go have fun and relax.
