Parker is back. Boo. I enjoyed Mel and Katrina. I admit I don't mind them. Because their relationship isn't forced down our throats. I noticed the actor playing Parker wasn't a regular. Only Abigail is. Is Parker being set up to die. The second he asked Maggie to marry him and setting up Abigail to gain power. I feel like Parker could well be the mid season finale death. I hope so. No freaking way Maggie at 20 years old will marry Parker. It feels like Parker is set up to die. Yet again witches were hanged not burned. Even the reboot got it wrong. Least us fans get it right for our fan fics.

I just want to grab the showrunners and say "Why, God, why? You were doing so well, what in God's name possessed you to revive the reboots answer to the Phoebe/Cole fiasco?"
Parker's back. Yay And he's the Overlord? Right, I'd sooner believe that Gilligan was the Overlord. And he asked Maggie to marry him!? Is it too much to hope that she says no and dumps his sorry a**?
And Abigael, to the surprise of absolutely no one, is planning to unseat her brother. Maybe she and Parker will kill each other, and we'll finally be rid of the damned Cain family once and for all
Anyhoo...
Liked the bits with Mel and Katrina. Mel likes her, but doesn't want to put her in harms way. And it seems that Mel is gonna take over running Katrina's store.
So Jordan is cured because his ancestor killed a witch. A Sins Of The Father thing (and it can happen, in North Korea, one can get hauled off to the gulag because their grandfather said something bad about Kim Il Sung in 1958). Hopefully, they can save him.

So overall I did enjoy this episode, Abigael is so much more likeable than the rest of her family, helps that the actor seems capable as well, as for her brother...did he really ask her to marry him? Hasn't seen Maggie in months and goes and does that. Eurgh. He is definitely dying, I'm gonna call it now, the mid-season finale will be Abigael killing Parker, and setting up Abigael as the big villain of the season, now she's gotten super powerful from that fruit.
So we have one episode left before the mid-season finale and the girls still don't have their powers back. Interesting.
I like that they wrote Mel taking over the store, it makes sense since she's knowledgeable and gives her a place to be at safe space, now Macy just needs a job there somewhere and they're all set!
I do hope we see Kat again, I feel like her powers could be useful, and she seems a nice character who could be good for Mel, a calming influence on an otherwise fairly hot-headed Mel.
I can't hide my glee at the thought of finally being rid of Parker in the next episode, I'm about 80% sure he's a goner, asking for marriage, Abigael's plotting, its gonna happen.
Anyone else notice how Jordan reacted when Macy clocked him in the face? I don't know......it seemed out of character, he looked so offended and took it personally when it was only a sparring session.
No darklighter or his master this episode, I guess that little storyline is taking a break for now until the Cain stuff gets resolved, which will hopefully be soon.

I'm gonna knock on wood for that. Might set up Maggie as the one that wants to avenge him and take down Abigael.
Yeah, they are going to need sources of income.
I'm sure we will. At least Mel is not erasing her memory without her knowledge or consent.

So far, the season had a good thing with resetting, but still, I don't think it is much of an improvement.
I'm liking the Dark Harry/Macy stuff, and Mel/Katrina is great. Mel seems to have the best relationships on the show, that I root for like her and Niko and her and Jada were okay.
But Maggie is the worst of them all, I'm this close to hating her, and she is becoming the Phoebe I hated from Season 3. If she marries Parker, she will just become just as bad as PhoeME. I started hating Maggie more this season when she touched Jordan inappropriately in the previous episode and treating it as okay or her using him to force out her Premonition power. Sorry, but she just gives me off vibes of all I hated from Phoebe. She is the worst sister on the show for me. I like Macy and Mel more than her.
Maggie marrying Parker, please NO. She is progressing much worse and faster than Phoebe did. I hope Parker dies, because she just has the least interesting stories out of the sisters.
It also took 4 seasons for their love interests to become central, and I'm this close to quitting the reboot again. I hate how their love interests are just so important. Mel and Maggie have nothing to do that aren't about a love interest, and with the Macy/Harry thing. We are barely getting many sisterly moments.
The sisters are also still separating more and more. This reboot just hasn't learned from Season 1. *sigh*
I hope Parker dies, so we don't get Phoebe/Cole 2.0 with leaders of the underworld plot. They better not be seriously wanting Parker/Maggie to marry and become leaders.
Outside of the Maggie/Parker stuff. I did like Mel/Katrina story, and nice of her to let Mel run the shop for a while. If Macy going to get a job, and I hope if she does, it isn't at Safe Space.
I do wonder if the series might have them relocate yet again in Season Three. LOL, each sister they move onto somewhere else. What happens when their command center is exposed, or someone catches them. It will happen.

I have to agree with darkavenger in that there haven't been as many sisterly moments recently, hoping that changes once Parker dies (I'm sure he's gonna bite it) and I have reasoning for that.
So I'm kind of a nerd and like looking at little details, so this one pleased me greatly when I realised the significance.
So this most recent episode, when we first see Abigael again, she's in bed with the two women but I want to focus on the song that was playing, its a French song called "L'homme Serpent", the song lyrics depict a snake, someone sneaking, and lying, not someone to trust, someone who will betray. Having this play in the background as the girls orb in I think is a neat little detail, because its as if they are coming across the "snake", in this case the betrayer, liar etc is Abigael, and later on in the episode we see her plotting and betraying Parker and Maggie, and I think this helps reinforce my theory that sometime very soon, she will betray Parker and like a snake coming across her prey, consume his life force (i.e kill him).
I just love little intricacies like this, it shows that the showrunners are putting real thought into their scenes, something the original show never really did.

I really hope Parker bites it bigtime too. And we get more sisterly moments. I just feel like Maggie's character needs a proper reset, and not be in a relationship. She is only 20 years old, and really should set her priorities on her studies or a job.
WOW, that is a very good observation, with the lyrics of the song playing in the scene with Abigael in bed. I truly hope, Abigael kills Parker, because, I'd be cheering for joy, and will be so happy they don't turn Maggie and Parker into Phoebe/Cole 2.0.
They are putting some real thought into their scenes. Just give us more sisterly moments, and dial back needing to pair all three sisters up with someone. Focus more on the balance.
I do hope they let the sisters go out more, and explore the Seattle culture and they do a better job than Charmed did with San Fransisco. Not confine them into Safe Space all the time. I'm just that type of fan, that gets bored when you see the characters in the same places all the time. At least they do travel all over the world on these missions. But with where they live, I just hope, they get out of Safe Space.
I'll be curious how long they can keep hiding, the world thinks they are dead. But, over time, it will get to the point they will get caught, and or need to come clean. It makes them want to have real jobs hard if using their real names, and background checks. Going all over the world to save witches and on their command center missions, eventually, someone will catch on, and they'll be exposed.

Yeah, Maggie hasn't been so much fun this season, and I agree, she has traces of the Phoebe we hated on Classic Charmed. She's only 20 years old, and has so much to learn and grow as a character, she is about 5 years younger than Phoebe was when she married Cole. Yeah, the have been doing less on the sisters, and keep splitting them up with plots, and dividing them up to love interests. I hope that now that Mel is looking after the shop, she'll be able to have plots connected to the main story. I also really like Mel having this job and earning some income. I have to agree with darkavenger in that there haven't been as many sisterly moments recently, hoping that changes once Parker dies (I'm sure he's gonna bite it) and I have reasoning for that. I REALLY hope she betrays Parker and he dies, and I feel like he is being set up to die next week, the marriage proposal, and the set up with Abigael just screams death for Parker. The fact he wasn't re-added as a regular and is a guest, makes me think he is going. If he was brought back as a regular, I'd think he would not be dying.

I still have hope for Maggie, she isn't quite at Phoebe's level yet, for one she isn't a "celebrity", and is young enough not to use her powers to need to find a sperm donor.
The trouble is I can see why they confine themselves to safe space, they are trying to keep their identities a secret, if they went out and about cameras or another person would surely pick up on it.
Though now they think the darklighter is gone I wonder if they will feel safer going out now. He was the only reason they went into hiding in the first place, without him after them....they may think they're safe enough to go out more?

I have noticed that the writers have been sending the Vera sisters to places all over the world. I mean when did the Halliwell sisters ever leave San Francisco?
Maggie is too young to get married, I mean she's barely starting out. And her whole world has been turned upside down. At least she's not all me, me, me (and hopefully never will be).
They might just do that. Perhaps Mel will decide to pursue a relationship with Kat. The only reason she didn't was because she didn't want Kat in the line of fire, like Niko was.

I don't know what to say nor need to say about this episode because everyone's said it already which I agree on of course.
