Hey, look Parker is dead....
PSYCH!
No, he's alive, but Abigael is the only one that knows this (seems she's even keeping her demon mook in the dark about this). As to why she's kept him around, I have no idea. Looks like he's not going anywhere soon.
Maggie veered dangerously close to later season Phoebe here, but thankfully pulled herself back. Yes, she kicked Mel out of the wedding, but still followed up on Mel's suggestion to check Parker's office.
Truth be told, I can understand what Maggie wanted to do, she wanted to end the bloodshed on both sides. She just didn't know what she was up against.
Yeah, Parker, you're not scary, you never will be scary, so stop trying, dude.
Nice sisters scene at the end, with Mel and Macy comforting Maggie (who thinks Parker is dead).
Loved the scenes of Mel as the fly. She had the right to worry about being stepped on. Luckily she didn't blunder into a spider's web. Help meeeeeee!! (anyone here get that reference).
And Macy walks in just as Harry and Abby are sucking faces. Awkward!
As mid-season finales go, this one is light years better than last years.

I'm unsure how I feel about this episode, I found it very unsatisfying. From Maggie going almost full-Phoebe there I was concerned, but unlike Phoebe, Maggie in the end knew she was wrong and apologised, I can understand her being stressed with everything that was going on and taking it out on Mel who just happened to be there. Speaking of Mel I loved her creativity in this episode, the fly on the wall curse was executed well and hey! Looks like she is finally getting some semblance of her powers back, so that's a win. Macy walking in on Harry and Abigael was incredibly predictable, I knew it was going to happen and then whaddya know? it does. Very typical CW there. For one shining moment I really thought Parker was gone, and here comes the dissatisfaction - he isn't really dead, WHY? WHY WRITERS?! This was the perfect moment to rid us of this creature, and it had to be a fake-out?! NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Abigael is now in charge as I expected her to be, I have to admit she's one smart cookie, now has everyone one her side. Though I don't understand why they all thought Parker was even dead when Maggie saw him eat the fruit? The fruit that should make him invulnerable? Which I guess now means he can never die......my God, the writers have doomed us. It just didn't feel like asatisfying conclusion to the first half the season, I wanted them all to get their actual powers back, I wanted Parker dead, and the girls starting to put their lives back together.
So after thinking about it some more I think the issue with the past couple episodes is that the writers are pushing the weakest characters to the forefront - Maggie and Parker, Beyonce and Jay-Z they are not.
Also, they've given Mel Piper's second power but with more control I guess? Does this mean she can't freeze normally anymore? I kind of liked her last season being able to make plants grow quicker etc.
So far Maggie has gotten another of Phoebe's powers in visions, Mel now has Piper's other power. I wonder if Macy is about to develop Prue's astral projection.

Not sure, although it was better than last years. I still don't know.
Yes, Maggie didn't go full Phoebe, but to be honest, she is still my least liked sister. I just prefer Mel and Macy over her. Still her getting all these love interest plots, doesn't help her, into the front of the plots.
So we're not done with Parker yet. *sigh* go figure. I do hope Abigael stays the bad guy, gotta admit, I like her as the villain, and don't care if she doesn't get redeemed. Not everyone has to be.
But, I actually was happy this episode had more sisterly moments, and that was great.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why Abigael is keeping Parker around. She got what she wanted, leader of the demons. What use could Parker be to her now?
Yeah, I loved the sister moments. Let's have more of those.

I think perhaps I may have figured out what Abigael wants though it could be a longshot. The Source. Harry knows its location, and Parker had it inside him, could be she's duping Harry in order to find out where it is, and Parker has experience in being possessed by it. That's all I can think of. She said "almost" after Godric said to her she had everything she wanted. Could be the darklighter, but I think it could also be the power of The Source.

That might be what she wants or the Datklighter. Unless she really does like Harry which I don't see.

This episode was a take on original Charmed's 'Long Live The Queen' which I wasn't too impressed on though I did like Maggie finally came to her senses at the end instead of going through with the wedding/ceremony like Phoebe did.
And Parker's still alive? When is he gonna be gone already?
I liked that Mel and Maggie are getting their powers back sort off however bit not the original ones they had.
And Abigael was smart I suppose though I can't understand why everyone didn't think Parker was actually still alive.
When Mel got molecular manipulation I did wonder oh are they going in a different direction concerning the girls second powers if that's what they are then meaning will Macy get something other than Astral Projection but on the same wave length like her soul possessing someone or what Rex Buckland had original Charmed then?
I do prefer the episodes start of season 2 over the last couple of ones then. Hopefully the second half will be better starting with Parker's permanent end.

Maggie used her brain, unlike Phoebe. Later seasons Phoebe is NOT a character you want to remind fans of.
Yeah, we're stuck with Parker. Don't ask me why.

I feel the need to remind you all of my little meme haha. Let's pray Maggie never turns into this.

I hope not, hopefully, she can be more like the Phoebe from S1 and S2. I still hate how her love stories are so important to her character for Maggie.
I'm happy with the progress Mel and Macy are getting.
I beg, Maggie to not take Parker back. Please, stay single, and focus on herself.

I gotta admit, Maggie is the least interesting sister to me too, her storylines are the least interesting. Hopefully once Parker dies, she can just focus on her own stories, that isn't always part of a love interest. Yes, Mel and Macy have had lots of better progress as characters. I just feel like Maggie needs a new focus. Hopefully once this season ends, they can settle somewhere, and she can go back to college, and her sisters can get some jobs.

Well we got our wish, this next one is all about family and not about their romantic stories, and we'll get some great backstory on the sisters growing up with Mel and Maggie, with the shock family member returning.

I'll be very happy if they are doing that. Especially Maggie getting something to do that isn't part of a romantic plot, that's all she has done this season. If it is about her family, fantastic.
