I read one online post in which the person said that since ghosts exists and they can talk to Nancy, why don't they just tell her who killed them. Good question.
Still, it wouldn't be easy for Nancy, as the legal system doesn't recognize the existence of the supernatural (because if they did, every shyster lawyer would be using it to get their clients off "My client didn't kill his wife, Your Honour, the demon possessing him did it"). She would still have to find evidence to back up what the ghost said.

I wonder for the Winchester brothers and Charmed that would be hell for them if their indicated in some way or another with a person whose been hurt or murdered and they have to somehow explain to the law what happened without letting on about it being a supernatural occurrence seeing how the law doesn't believe that exists.
No wonder the sisters were involved in so many missing cases.

Could be.
As I said, Nancy couldn't just go to the police and say "I know who killed A. Her ghost just told me that it was B. Go arrest him." Nancy is still going to need evidence that solidly connects B to the crime.
So Nancy will still have to sweat to get the job done.

Nancy will need some real hard evidence We'll have to wait and see where this goes.

The episode The Curse of the Dark Storm had a ghost of woman named Rita who died in storm decade earlier. She really wasn't important to the plot of the episode, but it was spooky all the same. They thought Rita was looking for a job in the restaurant where they all work.
And there is Dead Lucy, the ghost of a girl that died nearly twenty years before. She seems to want Nancy to solve her murder, which ties into the murder that Nancy is currently investigating.

Yes, more pieces of the ongoing mystery. Which again, hopefully wraps up at the end of S1. I have a feeling Nancy Drew will have season long mysteries each season. Hopefully they stay one season, and not multi season mysteries to resolve.

And no doubt ghosts will be part of it.
Initially I didn't like it, but I'm slowly warming to the idea of ghosts in Nancy's world.

Me too. I actually don't mind them, they add a fun aspect to the show. Now, I don't want them to go overboard and start adding anything you find in Supernatural. But ghosts are fine.

We had a haunted hospital this time.
And the ghosts seem to have trapped Nancy in some kind of dream at the end of the episode.

I liked the haunted hospital. It was cool.
I liked what happened in this one. I do appreciate when things are different each week.

Looks like that impromptu seance that Nancy and her friends had, a few episodes back, really stirred things up.
Of course, they really didn't understand what they were messing around with.

We didn't see Dead Lucy this season.
Of course, since Nancy now knows the truth about who she really is, there was no reason for Lucy to stick around.

I agree, no reason for her to stick around.

Sucks that we didn't get a Halloween episode this year.
Thanks a lot, CW
