Okay, so are Moira and Emiko alive? Did Crisis change things, or are they the Earth 2 Counterparts?
Can't wait to also see Sara, she's so important to Arrow, as this is where she came from. So it might follow from Legends, and we'll see her dealing with more of her emotions from the funeral.

Guess it was inevitable that Felicity would show up.

Yeah looks like it. Hopefully, because they have so many people to cram into the finale, it isn't all about her.
Hopefully, this is the last we'll ever see of her since the actress clearly has moved on, and only agreed to come back for the finale. Hopefully, if that Green Arrow and the Canaries spin-off is picked up. Laurel fans can be pleased, to see Katie Cassidy get the screentime and role she deserves.

Wonder how many wished that Felicity had died instead of Ollie?
Fans used to like her, until the original Laurel was killed off to make room for Felicity.

Me too. So glad, Laurel got a second life, sorta with Earth 2 Laurel, and Katie Cassidy still remained part of the show. I'll admit, I didn't mind Felicity, in S1 and S2 and parts of S3, when she was just a supporting character, once she got with Ollie, that is when it went to hell. I loved the final season of Arrow, it is is fantastic, and really ended so well. Laurel had so much of a role. I can't wait for what this finale brings with all the characters back. Especially Sara, since this will no doubt carry on the week later, when she goes back to the ship.

Here we are the series finale, which was 2-hours but not really. CW just aired some special with behind the scenes interviews before it. I'd personally rather the special been only 30 mins, so the finale was 90 minutes.
So apparently Oliver's sacrifice and newly created universe on Earth Prime also brought back Moira, Tommy and Quentin back from the dead. Oh, and Emiko too, and she's no longer evil. That's cool, I guess.
While it may have been about the fan service. I really loved how all out they went with the guest stars.
Felicity was in it, but she didn't take up all the screentime.
I loved seeing Sara in it, she had quite a number of scenes. She FINALLY had a reunion with Nyssa. I loved when Nyssa called her my beloved when introducing her to her sister Talia. But here's the kicker, Talia knows Sara, remember on Legends when Sara went back in time and trained with the League, and Talia was a child. Yeah, I know Ava/Sara are a thing on legends, but it was nice to see Sara and Nyssa again.
Barry and Kara all attended the funeral for Oliver. I knew Barry appeared, but WOW! was Kara appearing such a shocker,
Diggle being the one to give the eulogy was the best part.
Best part, they teased Diggle as Green Lantern. And the BEST part, they said he and his family are moving to Metropolis, OMG, is Diggle going to appear on Superman and Lois moving forward.
I loved getting to see the actors from the past. David Ramsey, Katrina Law, Susanna Thompson gave great performances. But Stephen Amell, Colin Donnell, Caity Lotz and Katie Cassidy are my favourites.
So we learn that Laurel from earth 1 is truly dead, and we've only got Earth 2 Laurel. With what happened in other shows, where only one Doppelgangercan stay. I guess the reason they did this, is all due to the spin-off.
The show has been building up Earth 2 Laurel's redemption for years, and if they just brought back Earth 1 Laurel. Which I read the writers were considering, but decided against it, because of what they have planned in the spin-off. Had the spin-off idea never took off, we may have ended up with Laurel from earth 1 back and married with Tommy.
I do like Earth 2 Laurel. I guess they didn't think they could merge both her and earth 1 Laurel together. Oh, well. I still have a Laurel around.

I wished this was more than an hour. Yes, the special before was nice, but really CW should just make those which they have done for shows in the past less than an hour, so the last episode can be longer than an hour.
I was okay with this finale I guess. I've seen worse.
I mean, there have been some finales that did not deliver at all, and I'm VERY happy they didn't go the Charmed direction, with all the flashfowards, they are letting us viewers wonder what happens to the characters. and decide on their own.
Nice to see that they reused the deleted scene from S2, where in that one Oliver imagined saving his mother, here they used it and made it canon. I guess they couldn't get the actor playing Slade back, so they decided to just grab that deleted scene that fitted the story here.
I'm not surprised they did that with the ending with Oliver and Felicity.
AND it looked inspired by a scene from COIE #12, where Alexander Luthor (son of the heroic Lex Luthor of Earth-3 I think) took the Superman and Lois Lane of Earth-2 to a paradise of sorts. The Superboy of Earth-Prime went as well, his existance negated by the Crisis.
I have to admit, it really did feel weird that Oliver changed stuff. I mean, when Barry Allen screws with time, there are always consequences.
He brought Tommy back but what if that also means Malcolm got to live or not?
With Quentin Lance though I'm happy that he got to come back. This changes Sara's character moving forward. When she goes back to Legends, her father is no longer dead.
John Diggle is Green Lantern? And they mentioned he is moving to Metropolis, looks like he may guest star on Superman and Lois.
Loved seeing Sara and Nyssa together again, and also we got to see Barry and KARA. Did not expect Kara.

I'm going to assume they didn't get the rights to Green Lantern because the rings don't come in boxes.

I'm going to assume they didn't get the rights to Green Lantern because the rings don't come in boxes. Maybe they are changing canon slightly. Could be a budget thing too. I guess we don't need a dead alien or the oath right away.
But, I am curious what they'll do with this.

Something else that I was wondering. That wasn't his mother who died, that was a Moira from somewhere else. Same for Tommy. But Thea is acting like Moira is her mother?

We are supposed to be living in a new earth. Just everyone apparently gets to remember the pre-Crisis world and have two sets of memories. That is what Moira mentioned at the start of the episode. The Moira and Tommy and Quentin we saw were all Earth 1 versions pre-crisis dying. They STILL are dead, these are just the Prime ones one. They just learn about the old world. Another thing. The Queen Mansion is back. YAY! But from last weeks backdoor pilot for the spin-off, Mia was living in it, so I shouldn't be surprised. So did Moira continue to live in it. Also did Felicity live here with the kids. Moira never liked Felicity, or at least Earth 1 Moira hated her, and seemed to liked Laurel more. How would Felicity and Moira manage to get along. LOL

LOL I hope they fight, and Moira hated Felicity in the pre-crisis world. I'd hope Moira doesn't let Felicity live in her house. But out of respect to her son Oliver, I'm sure she'd allow it.
But, I think only Moira and Thea live at the house together. Since Roy came to visit and Moira let him in, when she accepted his offer to marry him.

I think it is clear they enjoy writing for this Laurel more than Earth 1. I can see Katie Cassidy has more fun with Earth 2 Laurel herself. I don't think they wanted an earth 1 doppelganger back in the timeline of the spin-off to complicate things. Everyone else that was brought back, left the show for years. Katie Cassidy has a spin-off, all the other characters brought back, we likely won't see again. Had the spin-off not gone ahead or been a thing. Tommy and Laurel would have been endgame.
Maybe, they'll be doing more with Tommy and Earth 2 Laurel later on.
I did hear that if they spin-off doesn't happen, they might let Laurel appear on Legends. That is a rumor.

Maybe Earth 1 Laurel's death impacted Sara's turn to becoming a hero, the same way Oliver's dad did for him. Just like Oliver had to see his dad die, and Barry with his mother. Laurel had to die for Sara to become a hero in the light, or something.
