Wonder how many wished that Felicity had died instead of Ollie?
Fans used to like her, until the original Laurel was killed off to make room for Felicity.
Me too. So glad, Laurel got a second life, sorta with Earth 2 Laurel, and Katie Cassidy still remained part of the show. I'll admit, I didn't mind Felicity, in S1 and S2 and parts of S3, when she was just a supporting character, once she got with Ollie, that is when it went to hell. I loved the final season of Arrow, it is is fantastic, and really ended so well. Laurel had so much of a role. I can't wait for what this finale brings with all the characters back. Especially Sara, since this will no doubt carry on the week later, when she goes back to the ship.
Yes, next week's Legends with Sara is going to be so big. She's returning from a funeral, with her dad alive again, and having just meet her ex Nyssa for the first time in ages.
So much has changed. I do think Earth 1 Laurel being alive again, would impact her character so much. And, with viewers invested in four years building up Earth 2 Laurel into a hero and a spin-off, they did what they did.

Yep. Can't wait. Yeah that is why I think they left her dead and stuck with Earth 2 Laurel.

Katie Cassidy was great in this. I loved her performances. I do hope this spin-off happens, so she can get lots of focus on a new show. Of course, we know that Oliver and Felicity are not starring in it. It is a chance for her to shine.
I'll be curious if they might have Tommy and or her father having some guest-starring role in the future.

I'm glad, but on the other hand, if it doesn't get picked-up, they can let Laurel appear on Legends if they wanted.

A villain named John Byrne. I love it (the jerk ruined Superman back in the 80's)!
So, Star City is crime free now? Uh, surely they'll still be back robberies and such.
Nice that Barry and Kara showed up for the funeral. Those two are alive because Ollie died in their place (and they both died in the original comics, but they weren't the leads in two successful shows back then).
I guess Kate Kane was not invited.
Felicity meeting her grown daughter. Nice.
And that ending, when the Monitor transports the older Felicity to the Afterlife, where she is reunited with Ollie. It was his office!? Heck, Felicity wondered about that.
I know that many fans hated Olicity with a passion, but you knew Ollie and Felicity were going to end the show together, and they did.

Perhaps the reason Kate wasn't invited to Oliver's funeral was that the show could only have a certain amount of guest stars appear which was mainly Arrow cast members and not Kate also because they thought Batwoman is too new who hardly knew Oliver whereas Barry, Sara, and Kara did more being people from the other arrowverse shows representing the crossovers and the fact Kate's dealing with the whole Beth doppelganger thing at the moment which in her next episode could be explained why she turned down the offer of attending the funeral of course.
Other than that it was a nice trip down memory I suppose seeing how I've not watched Arrow post season 2 except during the crossovers or when Constantine saved Sara or not reviewed any episodes before finding out which characters had died and come back plus avoiding Olicity altogether.
Nice seeing Kara which was kept secret by the producers I'm guessing and finding out John could become a Lantern in the future if he stars on the HBO Max show I've heard or on Superman and Lois if he and his family guest star or not.
Seeing clips of the Green Arrow and Canaries spin-off on YouTube I'm surmising something happens to Dinah to make her go back to Star City and wake up in her apartment with no-one knowing about her which the show if picked up, will explain what obviously.

Some of the character can turn up on the other shows, of course.
One of them said he was moving to Metropolis, so he could show up on the new Superman show.

Also another reason Kate mayn't have gone to the funeral also is scheduling conflicts in that Ruby might not have been available to do so filming Batwoman and so forth.

Could be, I guess.
Of course, Barry would come. Ollie was his mentor, in a way.

And helped make him the hero he was then.

I have to admit I was more surprised that Ray Palmer wasn't at the funeral than Kate, to be honest. Ray started out on Arrow and was a big character for two seasons before Legends started, and has a history with them. He was a big surprise to me than Kate, who hadn't known Oliver that well, as Barry and Kara did. And didn't have a big history with him.
But as for Ray, now that one I'm way more shocked wasn't at the funeral.

I did think of that also but thought since Sara was there as I mentioned previously she represented all the Legends including Ray.

Yeah, Sara seemed to be speaking for all of them.
