Okay I did enjoy this episode. But I have a question because I was getting major Shannen and Alyssa "separate us" vibes, do the actors all get along with each other? Because I've realised they keep separating all of them.
Anyways I think I've pretty much got the season worked out, in fact I am so confident about where this is going to go, if you don't want spoilers, do not read my next paragraph because I'm at least 98% sure.
The aunt is evil, she controls dark Harry, remember he was gathering magical creatures? Perhaps for DNA gathering? Also the aunt is the one in charge of this new lab and this new high-tech super-fast genetics searching. Coincidence? Also the people Maggie met in the club and Mel had a run-in with last week are surely working at this lab and therefore work for the aunt.
But onto the episode. I'm not usually one for "shipping" but Maggie and Jordan has great chemistry, I enjoyed their scenes a lot, but what happened to his girlfriend?
Abigael is once again here to ruin the episode with her presence, could we possibly just have a few episodes without her please? The love triangle (or is it now a rectangle with Julian?) is just boring to me, move on. Thanks. I still don't quite get what they're going for with her, does she truly care for Harry? Sometimes I think she does, but then she gives a little smirk or roll of the eyes and I'm back to wondering if she's just messing with them all.
Back to my earlier point the sisters keep repeatedly being separated, its bizarre. They're supposed to be working together as a unit of three and yet most weeks now it feels like the power of one plus maybe another one if we're lucky. I just want the power of three back already.
But overall I enjoyed the episode. Parker hasn't made another appearance lately though we know he's unfortunately still alive, no doubt making his prison walls wishing they'd been given a less dull inmate. So that's a plus.

Because I've realised they keep separating all of them. This is my problem with the series. This is just a common thing that has been happening for a while. They constantly separate the sisters. I never thought of Shannen/Alyssa, especially since both Prue and Phoebe always had screentime together, regardless if they got along or not in S3, especially once Piper was married. This reboot, I hate to say it, is barely doing much with the sisters together. I've noticed this all season. Maybe once they get back the power of three, they'll finally put them together. As far as I know, they get along fine the stars.

I liked this episode. I didn't care for Macy and her new guy, it's just come out of nowhere, that she suddenly likes a guy she just meets. I feel like Macy is pinning for him, just because of Harry and Abigail. And what happened to Jordan's girlfriend? Did they break up? Maggie and Jordan are okay. Gotta admit I'm still liking the sisters and the plots. But a lack of sisters being together and separated almost every episode (It feels much more common in the reboot than even the Classic Charmed, maybe when the Power of Three is back, they'll be together more), and too much pairing them off with love interests or potential ones, and I'm finding problems with the show. Abigael ruins the show again. No surprises. That aunt is so evil. Did anyone notice this is the same actress who played Scully's sister on X-Files. I noticed her right away.

I agree. I think it was here that the club people were talking to on the phone at the end (we didn't see who that was).
Yeah, get rid of Abigael please. We don't need her, thank you.
Yeah, I recognized her too.

Compared to the first episode of this season and this one I did prefer the former more because of the drama and tension there and the sisters working together as a team which I miss and wish was back again.
I liked Jordan and Maggie who had good chemistry and the people from last week clearly work for Aunt Vivian obviously who owns the lab where they tested the Black Amber previously.
I'm not taken with Macy rebounding Julian because of Harry who she needs to tell if she loves him not only encase he goes off with Abigael which I hope not happens but also as it's not fair her toying with Julian who clearly likes Macy.
Abigael, I can't make heads nor tails whether she cares for Harry or just has some ulterior motive which I hope gets explained.
I just want the sisters back going forward working together as a team like Prue, Piper, and Phoebe because at the moment I'm sorry to say Classic Charmed season 2 is trumping this reboot overall, unfortunately.
