MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW!!!!
Today we have a couple of big revelations about the Dead Lucy case. Turns that she wasn't murdered, but rather committed suicide.
Yes, it turns out that Lucy got pregnant and that is the main reason she got ostracized from the town. When she went to kill herself at the cliff, she texted Catherine Drew. Catherine and Carson headed for the cliff, where they saw Lucy with her baby girl. Lucy gave the baby to the Drew's and made them promise her that they would look after it. When the Drew's were looking at the baby, Lucy jumped to her death.
The Drew's ultimately decided to keep the baby and raise her as their own. And, of course, that baby was Nancy.
So that's why Dead Lucy attached herself to Nancy, she's Nancy's birth mother.
Well, this was quite the revelation. Of course, we didn't find out that last part until the end of the episode.
Due to all this evidence, Carson Drew was exonerated.
So, where do we go from here? Both the murders we've been following all season have now been solved (well, technically there was only one murder, as Lucy killed herself).
And now we have a month hiatus.

WOW! What an episode. I'm in complete shock.
Lucy killing herself was a shock.
I can't believe it. Of course, we get another break, but with the coronavirus and them having less than 22 episodes, it makes sense they want to spread out the remaining 3 episodes. Production only filmed up to episode 19 I believe.

A lot of stuff makes sense now.
Dead Lucy seemingly stalking Nancy. Turns out she wasn't stalking Nancy, but watching over her daughter.

Could this be the finale now. I know they shot more eps. But if nothing returns until next season. They may just leave season 1 with this episode which tied up some stuff and hold the remaining 3 episodes shot for S1 for S2.
I see no new episodes are scheduled next week until a month. But we'll see. Won't be surprised.

Yeah, the two big arcs have more or less been solved. We know who killed Tiffany Hudson and the mystery of Dead Lucy has been revealed.
Of course, Tiffany's killer is still at large and Nancy now has to deal with the truth of who she really is. But those could easily be held back until next season if necessary.

I can see them just ending it here, and saving those few episodes filmed for S2.
This one tied up some arcs, but we still have something left hanging in Tiffany's killer is still at large, which can play into S2.

No doubt she's gonna want to know why this was kept from her. Because Nancy now realizes why Lucy seemed to have latched onto her.

I can see Nancy being mad at her father, for keeping this from her.
Did the Drew's even legally adopt her, I wonder.

Carson said that he and Katherine took baby Nancy out of town for few years. Perhaps they adopted her while they were away from Horseshoe Bay.
