Looks like the Agleaca was not the cause of Owen's death, rather it was a more human one. Lucy's brother, Joshua, who killed Tiffany Hudson (his target was Ryan), and who tried to kill Nancy, returned to finish the job.
Of course, the Drew Crew don't know this at first. They believe that the Agleaca is responsible. It's only when the clues start to pile up and Nancy begins to realize the truth.
There is a nice scene in which Nancy visits Lucy's mother, Patrice, who is Nancy's maternal grandmother, and reveals her true identity. I liked how Patrice reacted, that she missed seeing this granddaughter of hers grow up.
In the end, Nancy confronts Joshua. He admits to killing Owen (because Owen refused to help him lure Nancy into a trap). At first Joshua says he's gonna finish Nancy off. However, when she reveals the truth to him, that she is Lucy's daughter, and his niece. Only then does he stand down. He does try to escape (or kill himself), but Nancy and Ace (who tagged along), save him. Joshua more or less gives up and allows himself to be taken into custody. Tiffany Hudson's killer has been caught at last.
And Bess wants to get to know her family, even if they are a bunch a vipers.
Meanwhile, George and Ned seem to be starting a relationship. I like how George says that her relationship with Ryan messed her up (and she was a minor at that time). Still, things seem to be going well for this new couple.
But....
Remember the Agleaca? It's still pissed at the Drew Crew. As the episode ends, they all get visions of their own deaths. However, in a painting, Bess sees a connection with one of her ancestors. Perhaps that is the way out.
And thus Nancy finished her debut season. An excellent show and I'm glad it''s been picked up for Season Two.
