Looks like we called it in Jack replacing Chuck as God. The universe is under new management.
Loved how they did it. Chuck seemed to have the upper hand, but then it was revealed that Jack was absorbing Chuck's powers the whole time, until he was strong enough to take them all. Just before that happened, when Chuck was beating both Dean and Sam within an inch of their lives, he did wonder why the Winchester brothers were smiling. Chuck had walked into their trap.
In the end, Chuck was now human. Which is a good fate for him, as he will now age and die, like the rest of us, not to mention get sick and such. He is now one of the creatures he had contempt for. How pathetic he was, begging them to come back, as Dean, Sam, and Jack all get in the Impala and drive away, leaving Chuck there.
Jack then restores the world population (presuming Bobby, Charlie, and all the others). He reveals that Amara is now part of him. Before he leaves, Jack promises that he will not interfere in human affairs. We must live on our own.
Hang on, what about Bobby? Charlie? Eileen? Jack no doubt brought them back, but Dean and Sam didn't even ask about them! I guess they're saving that for the last episode. Which is next week.

LOVED the montage at the end, best part of the episode. But very odd, they didn't save that for next week. We still have one episode to go.
I'll admit, I found this a bit boring, I loved what happened to Chuck and Jack being the new God. But it wasn't that big as I thought it would be with the final battle. But, I might cut them some slack, due to COVID, it may have changed so many plans.
Next week, we'll catch up with all the people who are brought back. Bobby, Charlie, Donna etc. however COVID-19, might have played a part in not bringing everyone back, but we'll no doubt hear from them. I expect, them to do what they did wit Jody in this one, hearing their voice, but not see them.

They could Skype them. That way we at least see them one last time.

That's true Tim or some other video calling device like Zoom or Microsoft Team.

We have to at least see these characters one last time. And Sam and Eileen have to get back together.

They can do the zoom or video calls, with the actors even in America at home. Just have Donna or Jody on Zoom or whoever, from their own backyard even with the actors to make it like they are somewhere else, or make it like they are on a hunt somewhere, and call in to check on the boys, and a line saying they can't wait to meet up with them to celebrate their new world later on.
That's enough, that fans can see their favourite characters one last time.

And we better see those characters. Otherwise the producers will have to go into the Federal Witness Relocation Program!
