Thanks. I'll post the opening episode to S2 when I'm ready.
Was waiting for Dark Avenger to see where I'm going.
And had ideas since I created graphics for it already.

You lot should co-ordinate where you're going.

Ideas that kicked around from other threads I've been following and reading (sorry couldn't find said posts to re-post here, so going off memory) included Jody learning the truth when her son and husband died and bringing forward 'Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid' from season 5, which includes zombies and Bobby's dead wife, and possibly Ellen's too, assuming he wasn't buried in Nebraska where he died near the O.G Roadhouse. That one would be the second season Halloween episode. Also depends if Donna learns too at the same time as Jody, or is in the dark until the sheriff retreat in 911 and learns.
I saw ideas about Charlie taking Jo's place in the one where Sam being under posesssion by Meg going to Charlie's work or bar, since our Jo has a different plot. Some felt it fitted better to show where she is now after she and her girlfriend Kara break-up because she didn't like monsters or Charlie wanting to be a hunter.

I just finished the episode. Of course like my fanart, Missouri, Ellen and Jo are here at the hospital. Ash and Bobby are at the Roadhouse, as Ash got out of hospital, and Bobby got the Impala towed to the Roadhouse.
I changed who the Reaper of, basing it off something I saw the Anime so, to try and convince him to move on.
The ending is quite different, I hope you like the change, since we had three hunters all killed off at the end of last season, I felt it was so many deaths. I know discussion about combining Season 3 and 4 together for the third season came up when I was reading as a guest.
I left the door open, for if John lied and he has one year left to live, or if John gave up his life so Sam lives at the end of season 2, so we skip past the whole Dean making the deal and going to hell. Unless, people want that to happen with Dean, I know people wanted dead is dead and death to matter. Which is why I went with John's direction, so when he dies, he stays dead.

So John lives in our version, for now at least. Of course, he's headed to Hell because of this. And I can see Bobby chewing out John for this.
Good move in having the reaper take the shape of Mary. Dean still saw through it though.
Nice to see Missouri and the Roadhouse crew included.

Yes to that being our Halloween episode. I can even see A Very Supernatural Christmas being done as one of John's last Christmases depending when he'll die.

I liked that the Reaper took the form of Mary. Was a nice touch. Of course Dean saw through it.
John gets to live at least for a while. Bobby's reaction was how I'd see him reacting. And we'll get to figure out when he'll die when we decide to kill him.
If one remembers Bobby ended up in Hell after he died in S7 with Sam setting his soul free in S8. Perhaps that will be what happens to John or the Lebanon episode as a Halloween with the vial down John escapes hell and they get to reunite him with Mary in heaven.
I liked Missouri at the Roadhouse at the end. And her trying to help Sam with his powers.
For the next episode. Where Dean had been working on fixing baby instead of being mad that John died he's mad and upset that his Dad is going to hell and takes his anger out on baby like he did.
The Winchesters of course staying at the Roadhouse until baby is fixed. Ash gives John more info on the demon he found and Ellen giving Sam and Dean the clown case.

As much as I like John or any other character I want death to mean something so there's always the element of danger there meaning we think long and hard storywise what we do before permanently killing people off of course.

I agree. Let's not make it like Charmed, where summoning the dead was like making a phone call.
In SPN, you only do it if you have a damned good reason.

PiaI liked the opening episode. The Reaper appearing as Mary was a nice touch, I liked that addition. Seeing all the characters supporting the Winchesters was so good. Nice to know Ash is okay, and yes, Bobby has the Impala towed to the Roadhouse. So John made the deal and will go to hell, and has five years. That does gives us a chance to figure out just when we want him to die at some point, if he gets the full five, or not, or something happens where he has to sacrifice himself and lose five years or its a life for a life.

Me too, we need to make it count, and think long and hard before permanently killing someone off.

Can't argue with that. Make it count.

Exactly Kyle that's how I want death to be defined or the consequences associated with it if anyone resurrected someone whether they lose some years of their life, an innocent person takes the place of the deceased to reset the balance or a person comes back wrong like the girl Angela from 'Dead Things Should Stay Dead' as a Zombie so said person realises their mistake and doesn't make anymore again.
