Perhaps Missouri could've worked as an OBGYN before becoming the town psychic seeing how we hardly knew about her work life other than that on the show then?

Finally finished my episodes with Jody learning the truth. I got caught up with real life stuff, but finally had time to finish these and share them with you. As I teased this one wraps up Dean's anger to John and combines Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things and Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid. I also brought up Missouri's medical skills, and Sam did get hurt in this episode from an injury, so Missouri patches him up. In this one, I didn't have Donna find out the truth, because it felt like it was more Jody's story than Donna, in case someone wanted her to find out in the canon episode on the Sheriff Retreat episode, or another way.

I liked that you combined these two episodes SpnFanJackie . Nice that you touched on Missouri working at a hospital before she was a hunter. And I liked that they all visited Mary's grave like the canon one, so it made sense John and Missouri would show up here too. Lots with Bobby and Karen, and I'm not surprised Ellen felt upset at first, and that Karen tried to attack her. And yes, Dean finally opens up to Sam and John in the ending. I do love the episode 911, so if Donna finds out as she did in canon then, that could be fun. I liked episode 911 very much. I did like that both Ellen and John thought about what they'd do if their loved ones came back as zombies.

You combined two excellent episodes into one good one. And I liked the addition of Missouri and the Roadhouse characters.
Bobby saying "balls" is spot on.
And how would you handle a loved one returned as a zombie (and unlike the mindless brutes of The Walking Dead, these zombies can talk and think).

Good job SpnFanJackie combining both episodes together. I understand only having Jody know the truth and not Donna also yet because of what happened to her husband Sean and son Owen and now she does know she has the Roadhouse crew and Winchesters to talk to and get help if she ever needs that of course. It's nice how you touched on Missouri having worked in a hospital before she became a hunter from what we'd discussed in the discussion thread. Also nice the boys went to Mary's grave and with John and Missouri who weren't there originally. I enjoyed the situation between Karen, Ellen and Bobby and understood why Karen would want to harm Ellen then. Good you finally had John and Dean talk which they needed to working out their differences then. The episode 911 could be the one like in canon Supernatural where Donna learns the truth which could happen either later in season SDOW or season 3 obviously.

I was the same way Tim when Bobby said balls, spot on his reaction, and made the perfect cliffhanger for part 1, SpnFanJackie totally rocked that. I really liked this episode, and so glad these zombies were not the cliché ones from the movies or the Walking Dead (why I never got into that show, even if Jeffery Dean Morgan joined) Loved how this episode played out and nice that The Winchesters wrapped up their case and came to help them in the end, with all those zombies attacking at the end, I loved that they all banded together to save Ellen and Bobby. So glad Dean and John had their talk in the end. It was time. For sure, I'm a huge fan of Hibbing 911, and really would love if we adapted that one later in S2 or in S3 for Donna to learn the truth. Only differences is our Jody and Donna know each other, so perhaps here Jody AND Donna go to the Sheriff retreats, perhaps Donna being a deputy sheriff goes too, so it isn't just the sheriff from each state or county. I wonder if we could include any other sheriff from other episodes that featured one, even if it a cameo. I think for now, give Jody some time to mourn her husband and son, before we adapt the episode that introduced Alex when she adopts her, but since that happened in canon SPN S9, we can save introducing her and starting up the Wayward Sisters for a number of seasons. And now that Jody knows the truth, I'm sure she can be the person in the police department to help the boys out in the S2 episode 'Folsom Prison Blues', if we used that episode later in S2.

This one works like the original, with the inclusion of John and the Roadhouse crew, and I gave Jody a bit of a part here near the end. I continued this from Simon Said, from the group's meeting and touched on that for continuity reasons.
I had fun with coming up with the Diner that John meets Jody at, I just used google maps to find any diner in Baltimore and picked The Papermoon Diner.

I remember this episode.
Nice to see John and Jody interact. On the canon show, they never met.

I really enjoyed this one with the inclusion of John and him calling Jody. Loved her part.
John sharing his story of Mary to Jody was great too.

Like Tim and Pia I enjoyed this also with the inclusion John and Jody here. Because of what happened with Jody's family prior of course she'd be perfect to talk to Diana and try help her make sense of what she witnessed of course. I liked Jody's talk with John which in turn helped her come to terms with what's happened herself making her forewarned and armed in the future when she becomes a hunter other than a sheriff.
