Earlier in this thread, I commented on the fact that Rex and Hannah have never appeared in the Charmed comic.
Well, thinking that over, I'm glad they haven't. If R&H ever turn up in the comic, they would be written as the one dimensional villains they were back in S1 of Charmed. To me, that would be a huge step backwards for them, character wise. I've become somewhat territorial when it comes to R&H.
Best to leave R&H in my capable hands. I don't want that Zenoscope rag getting anywhere near them.

Of course, I really shouldn't worry. The comics were never canon to start with.
However, if the comics do bring back R&H, more people will probably see THAT than my stories. They won't be seeing the carefully crafted characters I've built. Rather they'll see two dimensional characters.
That is what bothers me. Hopefully, the comics will star far away from R&H.

That's makes two of us.
Yeah, I liked building that back story. It made them the characters they are now.
I would be miffed too.
Here is my message to Zenoscope: Do what you will with the Charmed Ones and their millions of children. However, do NOT touch Rex and Hannah. They're mine, I'm staking my claim. Leave R&H alone, or you will PAY!

Yeah, that is a plus. As I have said, a few R&H fans I've gotten never even saw Charmed. To think that my stories are their first glimpse of Charmed...
The comics would never give R&H the development that I did. They would no doubt be the same characters they were in Season One. In short they would have learned nothing from their past mistakes. That would be totally unacceptable to me.

Yeah, I'm not time locked into the 1950's in my writing style. No black and white rubbish here.
You got that right, it would be all out war.
As I said, I don't give a damn what the comics do with the Charmed Ones and their respective spouses and brats. I myself have abandoned those characters. They can make Coop a cross dresser for all I care (mind you, that would make an interesting issue).
However, R&H are off limits.

Yeah, it would be a slap in the face. Mind you, I don't know how many people read those comics, but it's probably more than those who have seen my stories.

Earlier in this very thread, Betty said: Well, as you probably all know by now, I've removed the Rex and Hannah Chronicles completely from the Charmed section of FF.net and moved them into the Cthulhu Mythos section. As I said, less than 24 hours after I had done that, a person with the screen name "Lovecraftfan1991" reviewed them all. This person enjoyed them, even the ones that didn't directly touch on Lovecraft. I just posted my latest R&H story yesterday and "Lovecraftfan1991" did not disappoint me. Seems I have a fan Yeah, it's only one person, but this is more reviews my R&H stories ever got in the more than two years they sat gathering dust in the Charmed section.

I made an interesting discovery today. I went to the Charmed section of FF.net and looked through the character filter. Rex and Hannah are no longer listed there. I guess removing my stories from the Charmed section eliminated R&H from the character list there, since it seems no other Charmed author has used the characters. The Cthulhu Mythos section doesn't have a character list in its filter. Too bad, I was wondering if R&H would have turned up there
