Sometime this weekend, if all goes well.
I've actually finishing writing the story. Now it's just a matter of editing and proofreading it.

I guess that most of you have read The Island by now. This marks the beginning of a critical phase in the battle with the Old Ones.
With Hastur now free, he will be trying to free his fellow Old Ones. Of course, at this point, R&H still don't know that Hastur is back.

When will the next story of R&H be available? You can't keep us in suspense like that, it's too cruel

I hope to write it during the summer. I'm planning on bringing back a character from Rex and Hannah's past. That's all I'm going to say

Hard to believe that we're coming up on ten years since I started the Rex and Hannah Chronicles. Yep, 2018 will be the 10th Anniversary of the R&H Chronicles. Right now, I'm still thinking of how to celebrate it. Among the things that I accomplished with the R&H Chronicles was to correct some of the mistakes that Charmed made in regards to some of the characters. Among those characters was Christy Jenkins. Christy appears in my 7th R&H Chronicles story, The Troubled Spirit, back in 2009. Here my entry on my Wiki in regards to that incident: I have to admit that this story was also inspired in part by the TV show, Ghost Whisperer. Like Melinda Gordon on that show, R&H helps Christy find peace and cross over into the light, where her parents awaited her. I always felt that the ending to the Jenkins sisters storyline was very badly handled on the show. It seemed that, when they realized that the Billie/Christy spin-off was off the table, the writers just said "F*ck it, let's just dispose of Christy, like she was just another Demon and be done with it. We need to squeeze in more pointless guest stars." This was a storyline we'd followed for the latter half of the season, and this was the pay-off!? What the hell, Kern? What the hell!? Since Kern dropped the ball on Christy Jenkins, I decided to pick it up again. The Troubled Spirit was my way of, IMO, properly ending the Jenkins sisters story. Christy is crossed over and Billie is at peace with herself (something we didn't see on the show, aside from a brief glimpse of Billie babysitting Phoebe's kids, years later). I'm very proud of that story, and it has been well received by those that read it (Charmed and non-Charmed fans alike).

I'm starting to plan out my next R&H story.
I pretty much know what the story is going to be about, I just have to figure out how it all goes together.

Another thing I've done is tackle time travel. However, there are rules, I follow. The following comes from my Wiki and deals with the events of the R&H Chronicles story, The Tides Of Time.
In this story, Hannah finds herself trapped on the Titanic:
The rule of time travel is that, while fixed historical events cannot be changed (at least not without disastrous results), minor ones can. Hannah could not stop the Titanic from sinking, but she was able to rescue those five children.
So, Hannah was able to make a difference. She did save some lives that would have been lost had she not been there.

I remember that story. A pretty good one!
I always found the sinking of the Titanic chilling. I had a relative who died there, an uncle I think. He was a cook or something.

Wish I could get Rex and Hannah added to the character list of the Cthulhu Mythos section of FF.net, however, I don't think I can. R&H are not native to the Cthulhu Mythos. Rather they are, as TV Tropes would say, Canon Immigrants
