Three episodes in, I'm very disappointed with Jacob's character arc. He's such a generic Commissioner and I wished there'd be more between him and Mary. There could have been a very sweet "We're all we've got" recognizing how half their family just Died within a year.
I think this new season has done good with providing reason for Alice's presence after Kate's absence. I love how much they're incorporating her into everyone's stories and the promise of a more "unhinged" Alice is nice.
What if Safiyah and Alice teamed up offscreen, and they’re using Kate as a bargaining chip to control Sophie and Jacob.
I like that Ryan is having a learning curve arc as Batwoman, and is gradually learning how to be an effective hero over time. In Season 1, it felt like Kate learned how to do everything a little too quickly.

Does Safiyah really have Kate, or is she just playing Alice?
Like Ryan's new wig.
Like how Lucius is still processing what happened.
Of course, Jacob still holds out hope that Kate is alive.
Mary's unfortunate assistant. Poor girl might as well have been wearing a red shirt (you'll have to be a Star Trek fan to get that reference).
There won't be an episode next Sunday, as they do not want to compete with the Super Bowl. Can't blame them.

Since the Superbowl is on next week, and I'm still catching up with other shows. No rush to see this one yet.

You all have extra time.
Now, how about some discussion about the latest Charmed episode. No fun doing it alone.

No rush guys, you have lots of time, since no new episode next Sunday. I had dinner with a friend on Sunday night, so I missed it too, but so glad, I can catch up on it later. As no episode next Sunday, and I'm not a big football fan, I'm tempted to just watch it next Sunday night.

I enjoyed the episode, I like the new Victor Zsas, he seems to be quite the threat, though I did think she took him down a little easily at the end, was kind of expecting a proper fight. Hopefully later on down the line.
I liked seeing the stark contrast between how Luke and Mary are coping with Kate, one believes she's alive and the other doesn't, its interesting seeing them believe different things but putting them aside to get the work done.
Also, Mary, what the heck was that hiding place? Should have kept running!
I liked Ryan even more this week, its nice to see her learning and not instantly being great at everything.

Yeah, it looks like Ryan will learn as she goes.

This episode was good.
We finally meet Safiyah who kidnapped Alice and Sophie. We learn more about Alice's backstory and how Safiyah took her in once she'd escaped captivity and taught her what she knew.
Alice left with a Desert Rose flower which infuriated Safiyah because its secret was broadcast when Gotham citizens were saved the week before.
I'm curious what else said flower cures besides pre-existing medical conditions?
If Safiyah didn't blow up Kate's plane then who did?
Victor Zsasz whom Safiyah hired to take out people that had been saved by the cure-all was creepy, cutting himself as a trophy for his kills.
Luke and Mary had contrasting issues on whether Kate's dead or not which I'm glad they talked about because the woman won't be coming back and Luke needs to accept it and Ryan being the new Batwoman.
Will Sophie take Alice in knowing if she does they may not know Kate's location?
That was cause friction between her and Jacob if she hides what happened although Jacob will find out some point.
Glad to see Luke warming up to Ryan at the end by giving her some more batarangs.
So Kate knew about Safiyah then? Was she investigating her before the crash? I'm sure we'll find out future wise.
And finally a nice nod to Jack Napier with him being an artist in this universe harking back to the museum scene with him and Vicki Vale in the original 1989 Batman film of course.
Is he Earth Prime's Joker I wonder? Hmm.
