Jacob finds out about Mary's underground clinic, and promptly shuts her down. While he was correct to point out that, Mary, not being licensed, had no legal right to do it, she too is correct in saying that she was helping people.
Of course, Jacob just found out that his late wife's company have been up to some shady doings. But Mary is not her mother.
Ryan's wound is getting worse, it seem.
Wonder where the Alice/Ocean thing is going. Seems they had relationship before their minds got wiped.
No episode next Sunday,, but we're back on the 14th.

This episode's A-plot had scientists try to determine how the miracle cure-all drug Hamilton Dynamics developed to deal with the bat toxic worked obviously wanting to replicate its effects for modern medicine which couldn't be done, unfortunately.
The lead person's only concern was getting results even if people died till that happened which didn't bode well with me. That man should lose his license and his business closed down.
Ryan's Kryptonite wound got worse and worse which needs more than a doctor looking at it before major infection ensues which I assume is why the Desert Rose flowers needed.
I suspected Ocean and Alice's story would deal with their time on Sufayiah's island and how she didn't want them to remember the relationship they had there.
From the looks of things, it'll be hard for Alice to kill her former flame.
Jacob watch where your driving. No wonder your car was hit and you and Mary were kidnapped.
Finding out about Mary's clinic and shutting it down I understand because it wasn't licensed legally so it couldn't operate and she had narcotics when she shouldn't have and is an unqualified doctor which takes years going through med school and residency but the fact Mary's helped lots of people who couldn't afford health insurance in the past should count for something at least.
Hopefully, she can go about things the right way this time and get the clinic licensed and reopened future wise when she's properly qualified.
The cancer guy was scary and creepy who reminded me of Norman Bates.
Looks like people are one step closer to finding Sufayiah's island now they've got the map which you'd think if she didn't want anyone knowing its location that wouldn't have been produced originally.

How can you hide an island in this day and age of spy satellites and such.

Unless it's something like Themiscyra which even that was discovered by Nazi's then no you can't hide an island obviously.

When I was reading DC, it was called Paradise Island.
