Was nice seeing Harry again briefly.
So Eva’s really dead and this is a phantom or something? I’m way more interested in the mirror stuff so hope back next week.
So we had Chester and Allegra running the stuff at STAR Labs. And Barry sleeps in a cryo-chamber? Mostly I'm waiting for them to wrap up S6 and this mirror stuff and get into the actual S7.
Ralph is gone. Chester is likely his replacement who appeared a few times last season.
I wonder if the real Sam Scudder is out there somewhere.
Overall decent premiere.

And we're back! I forgot who Chester was, until I remembered he was the guy with the powers who would literally cause a bomb. And he replaces Ralph in the opening credits short intro. Chester is better than before I must add, I was nervous his promotion/replacing Ralph would be bad. The book Chester was reading at the start of the episode was written by Meena Dhawan if I saw that correctly, a Nice little Easter egg to start the season. It sucks that Caitlin (I know the actress was pregnant, and likely still on maternity leave when they filmed this) and particularly Cisco weren’t there and I really hope that they aren’t written off the show later this season as well. Although, if the actors want to move on then I guess that there isn’t much the writers can do except give them a fitting send off. So looks like Chester has his work cut out for him as a new regular. I know the producers confirmed Tom isn't going anywhere. He's sticking around. Although I do wonder how he'll come back now unless there are other Wells we don't know about. Nice Clark Kent shout out. Great performance by Tom & Grant in this episode, especially Grant.

Wonder how they'll do that. There are no more Harrison Wells's, since the multiverse is gone.

Maybe, but just ask Captain Luthor, the other Beth or Winn's doppelgangers. Multiverse gone, but not impossible others somehow survived. We'll have to wait and see. Or Tom will play Ralph since he can shapeshift LOL a way to bring his character back to wrap his arc. So Tim did you watch the flash episode?

I did. Glad that Barry got his speed back. Of course, you can't have the Flash without the Flash.
And Ralph has gone underground. Gee, I wonder why.
And Eva found out that she's not even human, the real Eva is dead.
And when will Iris get out of that mirror world.

Exactly, no way they would keep that going for so long. Thankfully they learned a lesson from Charmed's reboot, to not drag the not getting their powers back arc for too long. LOL Yup, they had to rewrite their plan for him fast, until they figure what to do with Ralph. Yeah, dying for Iris to get out the mirror world, hopefully that happens in the next episode. So we can get back to the real start of S7.

So, for an episode never meant to be a premiere. It wasn't half bad?
Having Allegra and Chester be front and center for Team Flash as their intro as new series regulars, especially with the rest of the cast MIA, wasn't too bad.
Making Chester a regular clearly did wonders to his character, since he went from an annoying tech person who was clearly used as a Cisco replacement whenever Carlos is unavailable to okay here.
I don't know if I'll ever care about him enough to put him above other Team Flash members, but they gave him a serious personality upgrade. I was nervous about him after not caring much for him in season 6.
And, I hate to admit it, I didn't even really miss Cisco OR Caitlin. Too much going on this episode.
So, the Wells are all dead now. I wish I felt more for their death scene but maybe it's because it's been almost a full year since the last episode aired or maybe we've seen other Wells die so much. It lost its appeal.
Unfortunately, I figure Tom Cavanagh isn't going anywhere just because he always plays a new character each season so he would have had one set up for the real start of season 7, so it's now more of a wait to see what new character Tom gets to play.
That being said, I'm gonna miss Harry. I wish he could have stuck around because he truly was the best Wells. Oh well.
