Interesting twist this time, as it seemed that a girl was kidnapped by a ghost, in a hotel where people were reportedly murdered.
Nancy is asked to look into this disappearance, by friends of the girl in question. Funny thing was that it wasn't a ghost. And the hotel's history was faked. Turns out that it was tourist attraction. The girl took advantage of this because she wanted to disappear.
However, a ghost was involved, Odette, who is possessing George. Odette found the girl, and took her to the bus station. And that is where Nancy tracked her down. The girl told Nancy that she wasn't sure about going to college, which made Nancy think about her own collage plans. Nancy took the girl back to her house, and reunited her with her friends. Happy ending, at least that part was.
However, now Nancy and Bess know about Odette time sharing George's body. What Odette wants, we still don't know. And George does not want Ned to know, and swears Nancy and Bess to secrecy.
Meanwhile, Ryan Hudson is trying to protect Nancy from his father. He enlists Carson to help him (and Ned is already involved).
And Ace seems to like that Amanda woman.
Wonder about Nancy and college. We didn't see her decision. She can take online courses, so she will be staying in Horseshoe Bay (she has her job with Carson and the restaurant, when she's not out solving cases).
And, for the first time this season, she called Carson "Dad".
